Ed is a professional. Does beautiful work and pays attention to detail. Very happy with the finished bathroom and we are planning to hire him again.

I hired Ed for a few reasons; he seemed like a nice/honest guy, the reviews were great, and he expressed he was going to be able to start/finish the work within the budget and timeline we needed as he had a gap between the start of his next job. The timeline was very important to us as my wife is pregnant and we were working to move into our new home prior to her due date which was coming up quickly. I still want to believe he is a good guy but this experience was pretty awful. The work that was done came out pretty good but it took a lot of my time and many-many headaches to get there. During the first few weeks I received many 6:45 AM texts saying we have a problem for things that were visible prior to the job starting (ie. Roof type, HVAC, Plumbing). I ended up spending ~30% more than we initially intended to get the same end-user results which was disappointing. I rolled with it but then started hearing a lot of excuses that were causing delays and the project ended up taking more the 2x longer than expected. After spending 30% more than planned and hanging in there through all of the problems I was left with a lot of mud stuck to the wood floors in the bedroom he was working out of, an open wall in the kitchen where the pipe chase was updated, a new hole in the wall in our hallway, a door that was half painted and not hung, and a toilet full of pee. For a ~$25k bathroom it was very frustrating and stressful to learn I was going to have to bring someone else in to finish this work after already spending more money than desired and taking all this time during a period where time was very limited for us. Ed, the way that you continued to speak highly of yourself throughout this project leads me to believe you will likely self-rationalize when formulating your opinion of how this project went, but I think it is important for you to understand the perspective of the customer. It was very clear you were going to do what you want and you were more focused on building defense vs trying to meet expectations of customer. This came off as being lazy and unprepared where I think you may actually be better than that. I received three referral requests from friends for bathrooms while you were working at the house but did not feel comfortable passing along which was unfortunate.

We worked with EddieMac's Home Improvement for a complete to-the-studs renovation of our kitchen. Throughout the project, I was very impressed with Eddie's professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic. He was always there when he said he would be, maintained open and clear lines of communication, and consistently worked hard to ensure that all parts of the project came together. Our new kitchen came out absolutely beautiful, and the quality of the work is top notch. I felt that the price was fair, and definitely worth every penny! Highly recommended!

Offered a competitive price and did not stray from estimate with the exception of one small additional cost which was necessary and anticipated. I made it a point to thank him for his hard work and honesty while on the job. I wish that we had found this company years ago. Professional, trustworthy and collaborative 2 bathrooms completely remodeled, laundry room relocated, pantry and large closet designed and relocated The entire process was smooth, easy to understand and Eddie is a great mix of practical and creative. Thanks to Eddie and his crew for making our first home improvement experience painless. Eddie is a honest contractor, he delivered all of his promises and did an excellent job. They showed up early to work and on time. His subcontractors were all hard working people and polite. I would recommend him to our family and friends. We will be looking forward to work with him again.

We were very pleased with the work done by Eddie and recommend him highly. Eddie gutted and replaced one full bath (upstairs) and one half-bath (downstairs). The quality of the work is excellent. Eddie is responsive to texts and phone calls. His subcontractors were all courteous and professional. Someone came to the house every day (usually Eddie, with one of his subs). This kept the project moving and prevented it from dragging on too long. Eddie and his team left the house clean at the end of each day. His up-front prices were fair and reasonable. When we wanted to make a few changes, he let us know if there was a cost, and we could decide on a case-by-case whether to proceed with the change or not. (For example: We decided to pay extra for a herringbone pattern with floor tile, but we decided not to pay extra for a recessed shelf in the shower.) We are very pleased with the final results.

Started on time. Finished quickly. Completed extra requests. Easy talk with, easy to work with. Very happy with the finished product.

I hired Eddie Mac to install cabinets in a kitchen that was NOT level and needed a professional to do properly for the quartz countertop that was to follow the cabinets. He was professional, a pleasure to work with and an excellent resource. We even had some trouble with plumbing in the middle of Thanksgiving and he helped me find a plumber and came back at 9am the day after Thanksgiving. He's the epitome of professional. The finished product was perfection as well. I will be using him and his team for future projects.

I hired Ed to replace some drywall in my finished basement. He was timely and did a high-quality job at a reasonable price. I will definitely use his services again and recommend him to others.

WOW, Did we luck out finding Eddie! After being blown off by 3 contractors (family friends etc.) due to the job either being too difficult or too small, I was skeptical hiring someone online but I had no other choice and was literally in tears due to the other contractors. I am SO thankful I found Eddie - Within minutes of requesting services online, Eddie called me (on a Sunday!) and scheduled to come out to my home on Tuesday for estimate. I hired him and he started work the following Monday - The best decision I've made in my adult life. Eddie's price was excellent, very fair for all the work he did for me - he stayed on budget - no surprises at all and they showed up EVERY DAY at 8:30am - never late, never a no-show and completed the work for me ahead of schedule. You know you can tell when someone is being honest - this is Eddie. He is honest and is not out to get rich off you, He actually enjoys what he does - he had great ideas to overcome some obstacles in my home and always came through for us to ensure I was happy. You will LOVE his crew too - All of them, the workers, the electrician and the plumber - what great guys, so professional and they bend over backwards for Eddie. Eddie recommended a few floor places and granite places to us and when we called and told them "Eddie Mac referred us" we were treated like gold. He has an OUTSTANDING reputation in his field and treats his workers with great respect, which is why they work so hard for him and that says a lot of the type of person he is in my book. Eddie and his worker (who is awesome) are completing the finishing touches on my new kitchen tomorrow and I can say I am going to miss them - I want to hire them to do so many more things in my house now that I have a comfort level and know he is an honest contractor. Ed is a very honest and trustworthy if a problem does happen he doesnt skip a beat and gets right on it. My husband and I would hire him again and highly recommend him.

I have Eddie on two projects. The first is completed. It was a shed demolition, not his area of expertise. Because I hired him for a new shower installation and tile floor project, I asked if he could help out. He had a fantastic reference for a demolition guy. Eddie acted as general contractor for the project, getting appropriate permits, checking electrical and demolition quality, and finishing the job with a level of quality that I expect and admire. His timing, response, pricing, and attention to detail were superb. I expect similar results on my shower project. Recommend highly!

Quality work, done on time, great value.

We had a loose banister on our stairs and we asked Ed to repair it. His response to our request was timely, his rate was great, he is very approachable, he knew exactly what to do, and he finished the job quick. We would use Eddie Mac's Home Improvement for future jobs and would recommend him to friends.

Was in a time crunch because i needed a door frame removed so movers could remove a hot tub from a closed in porch. He came speedily and help get the open wide enough for the movers to remove the hot tub.

Honest, considerate, and tries hard to please. Does his own work. Reasonably priced.
