Similar to the last reviewer, I got Evan’s contact from a friend and we spoke on the phone about a kitchen renovation project. He said he had some time to come by on Monday or Tuesday but never showed. When I texted to follow up several times to find another time, he stopped responding completely. My friend called him out and he lied to them about the situation claiming I only wanted him to install bad cabinets from Lowe’s. I had told him I got an initial quote from Lowe’s to budget the project and he had send me a link to the cabinets he supplies. I was expecting him meet with me to look at the kitchen and anticipated he would quote the project from his cabinet supplier but since he stopped responding, I never got that far. Evan is unprofessional and a liar. Steer clear.

The contractor expressed enthusiasm about our project. However, when the work started, we found he had little attention to detail. The quality of his work did not reflect his stated experience and know-how. "Good enough" seemed to be good enough for him, and he made us feel like we were nitpicking when we asked him to correct issues (for example, a window that was not installed plumb, or haze that was not cleaned from the floor after tile installation). Overall, we would not recommend him- he's a nice guy but needs to be more careful with both his work and with his customer's property.
