Would not recommend, they never responded.

From the initial contact to completion my experience with Victory Construction was outstanding. Before engaging Victory Construction to build the deck I had contacted at least eight other companies. In comparison, Victory Construction was far superior to the others with regard to telephone responsiveness, arrival promptness, deck construction knowledge and ease to work with. Further, Victory Construction was very fair with its pricing. In fact, they were able to purchase some materials for a lower cost than quoted and passed the savings on to me. The deck was added several years after my house was built. However, it looks like it was built at the same time and thus part of the original house design. The decking in addition to being very attractive is very strong and properly graded. Consequently, it withstood the weight and thawing of four feet snow drifts from the blizzard of 2013 without any issues. I would consider engaging Victory Construction without reservation for any future building projects.

Working with Victory Construction was easy and pleasant from the beginning. They did a great job during the initial visit showing us their products and helping us decide how to perform the work we wanted done to our home. They were also very responsive to email correspondence during the whole process. The quote we received from Victory was the lowest of the bids we received although they were all in a similar range. My wife and I both felt comfortable allowing them to proceed with the work. Once work began, their crew arrived on time every morning and was conscientious about cleaning up refuse, allowing access to our driveway and also working around our pets. The work crew was friendly and polite. The work they performed was excellent quality and I have not noticed any areas where they cut corners or allowed mistakes in the finished product. They did a fantastic job building our new deck with only basic input from us. Our old deck suffered from dry rot and was poorly (and unsafely) constructed. I have no doubt that our new deck is safe, built to code (it passed all city inspection), and is built from quality materials. Victory Construction helped us transform our entire house in the matter of a few weeks. Our house now looks like it belongs in the 2000's instead of the 1980's. It looks like a completely different home and we were able to check off a huge item on our To Do list that had caused us a good amount of worry. I would not hesitate to call Victory Construction to perform any future work to our home. The one slight issue I had was the lack of a formal, itemized quote. I received all the initial quotes through multiple emails. They were true to the final costs, but it would have been nice to have everything printed out all in one place. Overall it was a small consideration that would have made the experience a little more professional and would be an easy thing for them to provide in the future.

Victory Construction are a group of professional tradesmen that completed the agreed work on time and within budget. The company and the employees are trustworthy and eager to please the customer. The job site was always kept clean and the men on the job were always respectful. I had no problem turning over the keys to my home to Victory because they gave us a great sense of trust. All the payments were tied to verifiable results (progress payments). Kevin McSheehy (co-owner) wrote up a contract that included a description of items and material to be installed and all work to be performed. He provided a guarantee for the finished product (a 4 season sunroom). Victory is licensed and insured handles subcontractors payment and mechanic lien handling / responsibility at the end of the job. In the end we felt that Victory has experience, skills, and sense of quality that any home owner looking for a reliable contractor would be interested in. I will definitely tell my friends and relatives about the wonderful experience we had with Victory. We will also hire them again and it will be a pleasure to have them work again in our house. They are extremely hard working men!

I received numerous estimates, but eventually chose Victory from their price quotes, looking on Angie's List and receiving good reports from their references. Victory Construction (Kevin and Kevin) are excellent workers at a reasonable price. They were communicative and always on time. They work hard and fast and will listen to your comments. The work was within budget (very close to estimates) and on schedule. I would highly recommend Victory Construction.

The project was done exactly as we planned needing no changes on the fly. The craftsmanship was superb. Things turned out nicer than we anticipated. My wife and I are highly pleased with the job.

I needed to get hard wood floor installed in my upstairs bedrooms as current carpet was completely worn out in some area. Due to settling in the garage floor below, the floors have been sagging and not a good candidate for installing wood floors without leveling them since it would just highlight the sagging. Kevin and Kevin came on time for an estimate and were very professional and honest. They seemed very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be performed. Their estimate was prompt and fair. The scope of the work: they jacked up the 2nd floor from the garage below and installed 3 new lolly columns with proper footings, and removed the old ones. That took care of quite a bit of slope upstairs, They then leveled the remaining areas on the 2nd floor and installed solid hardwood. It looks beautiful. Every day they came when they said they would. They started on time and finished on time. They cleaned up after work every day, and after the job was done. I have already asked them for an estimate on the next project I want to do.

The process on each project has always been great. I never felt like I had to make a choice that i was not comfortable with. They always take the time to explain the different options and how it would affect the cost of the project. There were a number of items that they truly took initiative and provided some excellent design options. Whenever construction was underway they were happy to explain to me what was going on. Everything was very professional and done right. They made sure to perform the construction in a fasion so that i would not have maintenance issues in the future. They also fixed some previous existing issues and took preventative measures to make sure there would be no recurrance of problems. I never really know how long some of these projects can or should take but I can say that these guys are FAST. I watched a couple of other homes in my neighborhood be re-sided specifically by other contractors and the projects took much longer than my home did. There was very little disruption to me personally while living in the home while under construction. They were prompt, courteous, and always cleaned up at the end of each day. Although the house was under construction it didnt look like a construction site with tools and materials strewn about. At the end of several of my projects they came in UNDER BUDGET! It's a great thing to feel like you got a good deal in the first place and then when it's all said and done you get a bill for less than you expected. Even a couple of months after the projects were completed I would get a call from Kevin to make sure that I was still happy with the work and see if there were any follow up items that I needed addressed. I am pretty meticulous and it appears that they are as well, I havent had any follow up issues needing to be fixed, but I am sure that if I did they would be happy to take care of it. I've been telling anyone I know to give Victory Construction a call on their next project. I am happy to provide feedback to anyone that asks.

Each job Victory Construction performed for us ran smoothly and on time. If there were any delays because of weather, they always keep us informed and rescheduled promptly. When they sided our home, they quoted us a time frame of 1 1/2 wks and it was done in that time, included the repair of the rotted areas and the finish pieces placed around outside fixtures. The most recent work of building a shed around the gas tanks for our generator was completed in two days, including painting the structure. We are very happy with everything thing they have done for us.

KEVIN AND HIS PARTNER (ALSO KEVIN) ARE THE "DYNAMIC DUO". THESE TWO GUYS CAME TO MY HOUSE TO REPLACE A ROTTED FRONT PORCH FLOOR AND FOUR POSTS, TWO OF WHICH WERE IN BAD SHAPE. ALL OF THIS WAS DONE IN ONE DAY WITH ALL DEBRIS GONE BY THE TIME I GOT HOME FROM WORK. THE FOLLOWING DAY THE GUYS HAD RAILINGS, POSTS AND FLOOR SANDED AND STAINED. I JOINED ANGIES LIST KNOWING I HAD ALOT OF HOME IMPROVING TO DO AND WANTED THE RIGHT PEOPLE FOR THE WORK. I GOT AT LEAST FIVE ESTIMATES FOR THE FRONT PORCH AND KEVIN WAS THE ONE WITH THE RIGHT PRICE AND THEY STAINED EVERYTHING. EVERYONE ELSE GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE THAT DID NOT INCLUDE ANY STAINING OR PAINTING. THESE TWO ARE AMAZING AND DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL AND PROVIDE QUALITY WORKMANSHIP AND REASONABLE RATES. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE NEEDING WORK DONE AT THEIR HOME. THANKS AGAIN!!
