Gave me several price options. Told me exactly what to expect, time and money-wise. I also interacted via phone & email with Amy and Barbara, who responded quickly, cheerfully and efficiently. Great job. I would use Titan again.

Description of Work: This was a scam. The deal was for a gas furnace and they claimed we had a gas boiler so the deal was not available. They wanted to sell us multiple unnecessary repairs for much more money. Of course we did not use them and went back to our regular plumber.

Description of Work: Nothing. I contacted this company to get help connecting a gas dryer to an existing pipe and vent. Friendly Amy responded promptly via email, saying their technician will stop by to take a look for a free estimate. I arranged with my elderly father to let him in. He did stop by and called me promptly with his estimates: $1294 (that is, one thousand two hundred ninety four) dollars for plain installation, up to $2000 + for connecting with warranty and annual duct cleaning. I give them an F for wasting my time and trying to take me for a ride in a cynical fashion.

Description of Work: They've veen helpful and friendly, it just didn't work out because the work I thought I needed them for didn't pan out by the expiration of the coupon. They've offered to extend the date, but I don't have anything that needs to be done right now -- I hoped I could at least retain the $99 value that I paid, but they said they can't do that and suggested I get a refund. Thanks for your help!

Description of Work: called them for emergency, water valve let go in cellar. Charged me $150.00 to show up and fixed nothing. Told me that I needed all new water line for $4000.00. I called someone else and problem fixed for $50.00 Scam Artists stay away from them!

Description of Work: I purchased a toilet tune-up "big deal" from Titan plumbing for $99. I had a toilet that had been phantom flushing for nearly two years despite every effort to make it stop. When the gentleman who came over looked at the toilet, he told me there was no point in doing the tune up. He then told me that despite the fact that the toilet was 5 years old, I would need a whole new toilet, intake line, new piping, the works. To the tune of about $1500. As it was only a few days before Christmas, I told him that obviously I wasn't ready to do that that day. Instead, I asked him to do the tune up that I paid for. The problem went away. Here's the thing: He was lovely and earnest and very respectful, but clearly trying to upsell me, which was sort of a turn off. As the problem went away, I'd say he was a good plumber. I still felt icky when it was over.

Description of Work: I made an appointment and the technician came. What I was interested in was having a small sink put in my bathroom. My expectations were disappointing. I thought for 99.00 I would have the sink installed, but what happened was the salesperson/technician was trying to sell me a" plan", not what I expected. I felt the ad was deceiving ,like a bait and switch thing, this was more a sales call, not a job to be done. I did not pick a plan and I did not use this company.

Description of Work: Bought the organize drain cleaner that was an Angie's deal. It works very well. However, it was a confusing experience base I only wanted the cleaner, but apparently it was meant as an add on to their service visit deal. So to get the cleaner, which I had already paid for, I had to drive up to Tewksbury to their office to pick it up. Except for the inconvenience, I am happy with the product.

Description of Work: i was looking to replace a working 14 year old water tank. My neighbor uses Titan exclusively so I called for an estimate. Called 2 other plumbers who just gave a quote over the phone even after I requested a visit to evaluate the situation as I live in a 100 year old home and every repair is an adventure. Titan sent Jason Moy who arrived on time. He was very thorough and offered several options. Everything was written out and each was explained in detail. I did not feel rushed or that I was asking "stupid questions". I decided on replacing the water tank and purchasing their service plan. The pre visit prevented any unexpected "surprises". The work was done on the day scheduled. Jason was, again, prompt. The job was done well and quietly. The furnace was also serviced. He prepared and cleaned the area and disposed of all old materials. I would absolutely recommend Titan and will use them exclusively.

Description of Work: This is the second time I've used Titan Plumbing.The first time I hired them they did an oil to gas conversion in my home a couple of years ago. They recently came back to do a routine service and cleaning on my furnace. While the service person was here he discovered a pretty big leak in our basement which was coming from the kitchen sink plumbing. He showed us the problem and gave an estimate on the work. He returned a couple of days later to do the repair work. As always they were punctual and professional and explained once again what they were going to be doing that day and they made sure that all of my questions were answered. After they finished the job I had some questions regarding cost and contacted Tim, the Owner. Tim understood my concern and agreed to look into this. After all was said and done we settled things to my satisfaction. I will absolutely hire Titan Plumbing again the future.
