Had a great experience with The Roof Cleaner Inc. last week. They power washed our roof and front steps and they did a fantastic job. We highly recommend them.

I didn't hire him as after he saw the project and gave us a quote, he would not do the work without a guarantee of payment in less than a week. This home is our mom's who is in a nursing home and her money is managed by Mass Health via a trust account. We had his quote approved along with others as we are preparing the home to be rented. I sent him the email approval her lawyer gave us but he refused to do the work unless he got a letter to him from the state saying they would pay him in a week. I can't work with someone that has such negative feelings about their customers no matter how good the work is.

Thorough, straightforward, prompt, professional, easy to communicate with. Roof had a fair amount of moss and dirt on it, now is nice and clean, anti-moss treated and inspected. Great experience overall, would hire again.

Excellent. There was one stubborn spot on the roof that was visible from the street. I contacted The Roof Cleaner, he responded right away, and scheduled a retreatment of that area. Work was performed professionally and quickly. Roof looks brand new again!

The job was done quickly with no problems. The owner saw that all my roof caps needed replacing which I would not have known if he didn't perform this service.

George was on time with his amazing little lift machine. He assured me he would not harm my lawn and George did not. George answered all of my pesky questions. He did not rush the job. I received what I wanted - a clean roof with no damage. Because of his construction background he gave me a quick look over on the condition of my roof. I was grateful for his comments. As an aside, George was a great conversationalist. I would definitely recommend George.

Mr. Barnes was very pleasant to work with, very professional, and on time for our appointment. He did a terrific job cleaning our roof over the house and the garage, and he cleaned parts of two exterior walls on my house, as I had requested. He was also able to fit us into his schedule relatively quickly, compared to a different estimate we received with a waitlist of several months. We would recommend Mr. Barnes' services.

George was excellent from beginning to end. The roof looks fantastic, it made such a difference. Lots of moss and discoloration and now looks so much better. George was responsive, and got a quote quickly to us. From the time we told him we wanted the service to when he came was only about 2 weeks. He showed up on time and was done in about 5 hours. Much cheaper than replacing a roof, and looks great!

Wow! My roof was covered in moss and algae which can be a water problem if not removed. Wish I could post the photos, but I now look as though I have a new roof! Followed up after I messaged the company on Angie's list. Provided an estimate in advance and the job cost the estimated amount. Very professional, the whole roof was cleaned in less than four hours. Makes the house look terrific. Just fantastic.

Excellent job! We have a narrow lot and George was very careful with his equipment. My neighbor hired him "on the spot" to clean his gutters. There was "nothing" for me to clean up afterward. Very professional.

George contacted me instantly after I purchased the deal on AngiesList and we worked out the scheduling details. He came a week later while I was away on vacation. He did a great job on roof. Very impressed. It looks like we have a new roof installed. No more mold growing! Don't hesitate to contact George, you wont be disappointed.

George & I never had the pleasure of actually meeting in person - I called for a quote, he went that day and provided me one, and then we booked the job quickly. When he finished, he emailed me a photo of my roof - I could not believe it was the same house, it looked so different and so much better. George returned calls quickly, came when he said he would, notified me when he was finished and sent me that photo so I could see for myself how the work went. I am so pleased with the improvement, and would recommend him to anyone.

George did a great job. He accomodated our schedule and squeezed in the work right between two cold days that would not have allowed it. He showed up right on time, made the roof look brand new, and left the yard and landscaping clean. Very professional job

Showed up on time and finished the job when George said he would. Roof looks much better now. The only small complaint I have is that after cleaning all the staining and algae growth on roof I had to clean driveway, garage doors, exterior walls and deck to remove all the debris that was removed from the cleaning of the roof. It would have been great if those areas were hosed down after cleaning roof, I didn't realize how much dirt was left behind until after George left. Overall satisfied with the work done and would use again.

It accomplished what was required. Another time ( and yes, I would use them again) I would wait until later in the Fall for less damage to landscaping

He used a cherry picker so no one was climbing around our roof. I recomended him to several neighbors who stopped by.

George Barnes and his assistant did a very thorough job at cleaning the roof. While I was worried that I would need a new roof job within the next year or so because of the moss and lichen growth that was tarnishing major sections of the roof, the roof now looks brand new. I have architectural grade shingles which really looked compromised. They now look fantastic They were professional and responsive and were careful to protect landscape and lawn areas in the process. I would highly recommend The Roof Cleaner.

I am quite happy with The Roof Cleaner. George was very responsive when I initially called him (he returned my call within 24 hours and came by the house the next day to give me a quote). His price was in the middle of the 3 quotes I got, but the thing that i was impressed with the most is his use of a manlift. He does not climb onto the roof, and hence doesn't destroy any shingles; he uses a lift to get OVER the roof and spray down onto it. (Note: make sure your side and back yard has enough room to allow the lift to get back there.) I had a lot of moss, black stains and lichen built up over the past few years. When he finished cleaning the roof, it looked very good, with nothing left behind. I will use him again in the future.

Our roof was covered in moss and we had been inundated with roofing solicitations. After speaking with a tree service about removing the trees that we're causing the moss (McGuinness Tree Service) they recommended calling George. George came the next day and gave us a reasonable price for cleaning the roofs of our house, breezeway and garage, as well as the siding and gutters. The results were instantaneous! Our neighbors were very impressed and they asked him to clean the front of their roof, too. Personable service, reasonable price ( saved our roof for a few more years). A new roof would have cost around $8,000. We paid 10% of that.

George was pleasant. He and his crew were very competent. I recommended him to a local builder and he will get his business in the future.
