Dan The LawnMan

He had to be called back because his "workers" didn't do the complete job we had discussed, he didn't make any notes when he looked at the job so when he was called to finish he didn't remember what I was talking about...that we had discussed. He did come back and finish but I wasn't happy bout having to call him to return and finish.

Dan is thoughtful and honest. He will tell you what he knows and what he does not. For example, he does not have an encyclopedic knowledge of trees, but he has someone on his staff who is a trained horticulturist. Dan is friendly and approachable. I would hire him in a minute when the funds are available to do the job.

I have seldom experienced a business man as responsible as Dan and his operations manager Paul. Both have quickly responded to questions I've had and followed up immediately to any concerns. He is patient and caring in his relationship with clients and is one of the most dependable persons I've known. The quality of his work and access for his customers is truly commendable. I am very pleased with his work and would not hesitate to recommend him.

I called Dan twice in a pinch when my snow blower failed. He was ready to bail me out each time. Very courteous, professional and accommodating. No more snow blower for me.

With one rather important mistake. Everything else was fine. I would get estimate in writing to make sure things are understood. I had one special tree that was not to be trimmed but neither the workers nor the owners remembered and the tree was trimmed any way

Dan is always quick to respond to calls, emails and texts and i couldn't be happier with the service. We've hired the company for mowing, fall clean up and now plowing. Any concerns I had along the way have been addressed immediately and the quality of work is always grade A!

Dan is truly a nice guy as well as very professional. We had A MESS of thorny bushes with root systems all the way to China. Dan and his team literally risked bodily injury to attack this stuff and we were left with a new, beautifully landscaped area that neighbors, friends and family comment on. He is our "go to guy" for all things "outdoor" related; AND, he does our plowing. His prices are VERY reasonable, and he is one of the hardest working guys we have ever met. Pick Dan, you'll be happy you did!

Dan really stepped up and saved our condo lawn. Our past landscaping did a really poor job maintaining it. He is super responsive to all the queries we would email him. Overall we had an excellent experience with him.

Okay! This should have been a good deal but, I went from one man for 12 hours to three men for four hours. For now on I will write down what I want done and have it signed. First time using Angie's List and dealt with contractor.

It was a fantastic experience. Dan and his team were communicative, polite, and did an absolutely awesome job at making our yard look great. The yard hadn't had any major work done in the two years that we'd lived there, so there was plenty to clean up! Leftover leaves in the gravel flower beds, branches and sticks from the various storms we've had, grass that hadn't been mowed since our mower broke, and a garden that was completely overgrown and useless. With a full day's work, the yard has been transformed into neatly mowed grass, clean gravel, and bushes that no longer look like they're trying to choke the driveway. It looks like a totally different yard now, and we're looking forward to having more work done in the future.

We haven't decided if we'll go ahead as yet, but so far working with Dan has been a complete pleasure. When he was going to be late he called to offer a reschedule. When we met he was punctual, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. PLUS he is the only provider I have found who will do snow SHOVELING as part of his plowing service - huge because I am disabled. Looking forward to working more with him!

1) Dan is very organized 2) Punctual and responsive 3) Did majority of work and made the place look beautiful 4) Helped trustees with their questions regarding sprinkler system, other misc. stuff 5) We did get weed removal program and that is something that is a work in progress Overall, our experience was good with Dan and we would definitely work with him in years to come

Dan the Lawn Man rescheduled twice, was late and reported that he went to the wrong house. We requested and received a refund.

Dan and his crew are very professional and did a great job. I have hired Dan to do all my lawn maintenance and several on going projects. When it comes to my yard I wont use anyone else.

I found Dan on Angie's List and based on his great reviews gave him a call. He called me back promptly and we scheduled a visit for him to come by and talk about the work I wanted to have done. He took the time to answer my questions and had some good suggestions on what to do and not to do. He emailed me an estimate the following day and scheduled me about 2 weeks out. The work Dan's crew of 3 did was fantastic. Our yard was in pretty rough shape: no fall cleanup, the bushes hadn't been trimmed in a long time, and the lawn was getting unwieldy. They were at the house for a full day (and even a few hours a couple days earlier) and really did a great job. My fiance was home most of the day while they worked and said they were extremely professional and asked her if she was happy with the work they were doing. I met them when I got home from work and was very impressed by both their results and professionalism. We plan on using Dan and his crew's services for weekly lawn mowing throughout the year and for larger cleanup projects as well going forward.

We asked Dan for a quote after seeing the beautiful work that he had done at our neighbor's home. The quote was very reasonable and the reviews on Angie's list were great so we went ahead with the project and could not have been happier. Dan and his crew did a FANTASTIC job - our yard has never looked this nice!! All the work was very carefully and thoroughly completed , and the team clearly is experienced and care about quality. The work was done very quickly and efficiently and the team of 3, Hector Harry and Dan, were all extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. Hector had some excellent suggestions for pruning that we hadn't considered and that ended up making a big difference. He consulted us before doing any edging/pruning that hadn't been specifically discussed so no mistakes were made. I wish we could post a photo because our yard now looks like something out of a gardening magazine. We will DEFINITELY use Dan again next Spring and for clean up this Fall - it is well worth the money that we spent and we are happy to do business with such a high quality group.

Dan's workers were hard working, always pleasant, and prompt. My wife and I agree that the team was absolutely the best we have ever employed on our property over the past 30 years. Dan was responsive to our questions and concerns about the project and consistently kept us in the loop. He provided a written and accurate estimate, along with a calendar for the work. He was easily accessible by phone or e-mail and provided the best itemized billing I have ever seen for year work. Special extra kudos to Paul on his crew for his excellent work. We are continuing with Dan for ongoing work including mowing, trimming of bushes in the Fall, and snow plowing. We think we have found a really special firm and are pleased with the quality of work and look forward to our yard finally looking as we always thought it could.

Dan is AWESOME!! We are selling our home and needed to spruce up the front yard, create some curb appeal. Found Dan on Angie's LIst and called. He came out on schedule. Dan is Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He had some great ideas in addition to the requested work. He and his crew came out on the scheduled date and got straight to work. They did everything and more that was contracted, in the scheduled amount of time. I don't know how he could have done anything better than he did.

Dan has performed our annual landscaping and snowplowing for the past two years. He always does great work, but what we love best is his responsiveness to texts and emails. If we need an emergency snow plow during a storm, we can send a text asking him to plow by a certain time, and he'll respond right away. His prices are also a bargain, considering the personal level of service he offers his customers.
