Chuck's Tree Service is awesome. They showed up at 7:30 am on one of the hottest days of the summer finished by 2:30pm! They were very professional and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. The price was reasonable and I felt that they were very safe and professional! These guys worked their butts off and it was fun to watch. At no time did I ever fear about any safety isssues. They did an amazing job. The crew was all set-up and ready to go when Chuck arrived. They worked as a great team. Everyone was completely professional and in full support of each other. It is difficult to describe just how well this went. I was amazed at what they were able to accomplish. The tree was boxed in, about seventy feet from the street, behind a two-story house, with a shed a few feet to its right, and a neighbor's home about ten feet behind it. Septic tanks were also within ten feet of it. It was also "fenced-in" by power lines on all sides. I tried to find someone for three years to take this sprawling beast of a tree down. Each limb was a tree in its own right, some at nearly forty feet long. They made possible, by what all accounts, appeared to have been a task that was simply impossible to do without spending days to do it. They did it in about three hours. One limb was almost twenty to thirty feet long, resting on the roof. Chuck balanced it so well, I was astonished to watch it literally roll away without teetering, clearing the house completely. Another was a team effort. The climber actually cut very carefully as the crane operator pulled it back from our neighbor's house before it was severed! In most cases, the crane operator couldn't even see, as the climber talked to him through a microphone! It took me all afternoon to soak this in. A true fascination to watch. All were masters of their craft. Their post-job clean up was excellent, yard was spotless, driveway and street swept, person closing the job (Eric) was professional and polite. Chuck was courteous and professional throughout. Climber was incredibly brave and skilled, crane operator highly precise. Street-level crew was very efficient and well-coordinated. Job was approached with eagerness, confidence, and no regrets. No property damage. They even moved my mailbox. When it comes to hazardous tree removal, there simply can't be any substitute. Equipment makers design things with these folks in mind.

Chuck's crew can't be beat. They showed up earlier than scheduled and got right to work. They took down both trees, cleaned up area in about an hour. They have a great system and really know what they are doing. One of the trees was procariously close to a utility lines attached to the service pole and to our house. They expertly guided their cherry picker truck into our drive way and got the cherry picker positioned safely. It was pretty interesting to see them work, like tree surgeons. We are repeat customers. We used them several years ago for about 9 old oak trees in our back yard and they did a great job back then. His price is always reasonable for the amount of work done. Chuck and his crew are top notch and you should feel very confident hiring them. Chuck's Father is available to do stump grinding so ask about it. He ground our 2 stumps for an additional $120 and did a great job and made very quick work of it using his remote controlled stump grinder.

They came to our home and removed the tree in less than an hour for half of the price that we were quoted by two other services. We were very impressed by their efficiency and professionalism.

The crew showed up on the day and at the time scheduled. They placed a crane at the base of my driveway and hoisted all the trees from there so no heavy equipment needed to be driven onto any part of my lawn. Each tree was first secured to the crane cable near the top portion of the tree, the tree was cut at the base and the tree was lifted out of the area and lowered to the street where other members of the crew took care of cutting the larger sections of the tree and hoisting the logs onto the truck and placing the smaller sections in the chipper. The trees were cut fairly close to the ground, leaving minimal amount of stump. They worked very efficiently and completed the work in under 3 hours. All the debris was cleaned up so well that once they were gone, you would not even know that they had been there. The workers were very courteous and professional.

48 hours after making the request for an estimate, I received an email from the company saying that unless I lived in one of the adjacent towns to his place of business; Tewksbury and had a tree on my home or vehicle, he would not be responding to requests for 10 days. While I understand the importance of priortizing, as I did have a downed tree, but lived not one, but two towns over, this left me with a bad taste.

Chuck returned my initial call within a day. He came to my home and gave us a quote the following day. A week or so later we called him, he scheduled the job for a few days later. They came when they said they would, took out the tree, cleaned up the mess,and, a few days later, ground the stump. I couldn't be more pleased, I have no basis for price comparison. The three other tree companies I called two never returned my calls and one called me two weeks later. Chuck's was great I would use them EVERY TIME !

Chuck strung me along for a week and then said he would not estimate the work unless in was 6000 as the 16 my house is to his business is too far to drive.

Chuck and his crew did a good job over all. They accessed the tree with a cherry-picker-style bucket after taking out a section of fence. He would not replace the fence, but I was told this ahead of time. Branches were chipped as they fell. Although they left a good amount of wood for my wood stove, they chipped too much wood. I wanted more, but I was told they had to keep the process moving and clear out debris, not buck up all of the wood that I wanted. The crew was professional. A day or two later, his father came in with a remote-controlled robot the size of a small car. It was used to grind up the stump in 20 minutes. Fascinating. The price was great when compared to other quotes. The only negative was that Chuck could not give me an exact time to schedule an estimate or perform the job. Although inconvenient, I suspect this is why the price is lower. The company looks to minimize travel time and tries to schedule several jobs close to each other. He did leave me five extra logs he had on the truck from an earlier job: elm, pine, and soft maple. Not oak, but still a bonus. I would actually give an overall score of B+.

Chuck was punctual and professional for the proposal. The quote was an excellent value compared to others I've received. The work was performed on the day promised, the area cleaned satisfactorily. Outstanding job. Excellent value.

They came when they said they would and removed the tree while I was at work. I left in the morning and the tree was there, and came home at night and all evidence of the tree was gone. Great experience and I thought the price was exceptional.

Chuck returned my phone call within hours and came to give me an estimate the next day. His quote was very fair . He didn't try to talk me in to spending more than necessary, in fact he and his team did a few extra things for very little extra money. I needed a large crane and he had the crane guy come over ahead of time to make sure it wouldn't damage the driveway. As promised, they arrived within two weeks, on a Saturday morning, almost filling my circle with equipment and in about 3 hours, the trees were gone, the trucks had disappeared and the yard was in emaculate condition! We would hardly have known they had been here. I would absolutely recommend this company. They were profesional, extremely fair pricewise and very pleasant to deal with......Also, the level of skill was amazing! They worked entirely from the crane and never went onto the lawn

After an initial call to Chucks Tree Service I recieved a call back within the hour from Chuck himself. A proposal was provided within a couple of days. When I called with questions Chuck responded immeidately. Other companies had provided estimates that included cutting down wires, hiring a police detail and closing the road. Chuck made it clear that he had the right equipment to do the job without such disruptions. The job was scheduled within the week. Chuck and his crew arrived on time and quickly got to work. All three trees were removed in approximately 4-5 hours time. Chuck was with his crew the entire time. All worked carefully and professionally with minimal disruption to the neighborhood. Once the trees were down the yard and the road were coompletely cleared and cleaned. All in all it was an excellent job and I would certainly use Chuck's Tree Service again!

After the freak snowstorm of Halloween 2011, I e-mailed Chuck's Tree Service to get an estimate to remove a large magnolia tree that was destroyed in the storm. Even though they were straight out due to the extensive storm damage in our area they came over and gave us an estimate that very next morning. It was a reasonable price and we hired them. I fully expected to have to wait due to the large amount of storm damage in Lowell but they said they had work in the area and might be able to do it in a couple of days. When we woke up the following day we suddenly realized that the tree was gone! They had come later that very day when we were out and removed the tree. The yard was completely cleaned and it looked like the tree had simply disappeared! It was a very professional job. The next day they came back for payment.What a pleasure it was to have a company so quickly respond under such stressful circumstances. They were the nicest guys and they did an excellent job. Cut the tree almost at soil level and removed every branch and all leaves and debris.They even manuevered the limbs and debris over an antiquewrought iron fence without a bit of damage to it. I have extensive gardens and was worried about workers trampling the gardens but they took great care and didn't even leave a footprint. I would highly recommend them and definitely use them again.

I called Chuck to get a quote for the work. And a day or so later got a call back saying he was on vacation but would contact me as soon as he returned the following weekend. He called as promised, came over the same day and gave me a price to do to work. I agreed to the price and he told me he would be in touch in a week or so to schedule the work. Again I got a call as promised and was give a date and rough time. Chuck and his crew showed up on time and had all the work done in about and hour and a half. All trees were grappled, cut and lowered to the ground so there was no ground damage. We are very happy and will call him again if we need any further tree work.

I called several tree services some gave me estimates others did not call back, however Chuck's estimator Tom called me back the same day I left Chuck the voicemail it was within an hour or two of my voicemail. We arranged a date and time to review the work and they provided me with an estimate. Chuck's team was able to take care of the work within three weeks of me confirming that I wanted the work done. There was no problem waiting as I realized that the snowstorm caused the worst tree damage in 25 - 30 years and that they needed to prioritize their work based on the more critical issues first. Bottom line is that Chuck's tree service is excellent, the response time of calling the customer back, the quality of the work, the price was good and his employees are well trained. All the work was done professionally and safely with virtually no damage to my lawn. Also Tom was able to answer all my questions and explain how they would take down the trees. I had very large older trees overhanging very close to my home that were actually a danger to my safety. These trees were approx. 90' high and extremely close to my home. I called and got estimates and met with five tree removal services. Chuck was the only one to arrive on time for the appraisal appointment, surveyed the property and gave me a quote and copy of his Certificate of Insurance in a matter of minutes after his arrival. He was totally professional, no nonsense, confident and didn't play games about how difficult this job would be. He actually downplayed the extent of the job due to his experience and equipment as other services tried to used this as a means to justify their high price. We agreed on the work to be performed and price and Chuck went way beyond our agreement for the services contracted without any added hidden charges. He and his crew arrived with their large equipment early, set up, and got to work. It was amazing to see them in action and how quickly they got the job done! After all their hard work they then did a remarkable job cleaning up all debris from the job. My property never looked neater! Chuck's Tree Service is the Absolute Best! If you need tree services call him and you will have a most professional, rewarding experience! Thank you Chuck and your Crew I could have never solved my tree problem without you. I had a very large pine tree, at least 90 feet, split and half the tree fell during the recent hurricane. The remainder of the tree was very dangerous. Chuck immediately responded to our call with a same day cost for removal. I decided on taking down a second tree and he once again came by asap and gave us a total estimate. This was a Wednesday, he and his crew showed up first thing Friday morning and took down both huge trees, took about 21/2 hours, these trees had to be removed by a crane lifting the logs over my house. Chuck's tree service was very professional and when they left, the only reminder was a little sawdust around each stump. They not only cleaned my driveway but also the street. I expect to hire them again in the fall for more large tree removal. Fantastic Job!!!

Despite a very busy workload due to the storm Chuck was at my house at the date and time agreed with his crew. The crew was careful to avoid damage to my lawn from the heavy equipment needed for the job. Tree was taken down and removed in a very short time (less than 3 hours) and the all debris was cleaned up. It was a pleasure to see Chuck and his workers work quickly and efficiently to get the job done. I would highly recommend Chuck's Tree Service and would definitely use the company again.

They were very efficient, had a good price, and did excellent work. They also left the area clean when they had finished the job.

These guys are experts and tree removal - it's all they do. They were efficient and professional. Expect a lot of yelling a BIG equipment if you do anything like what we did. They organized the police detail and got us a stump grinder who was also excellent. They are gruff but they know their stuff. We really appreciate their skill and love of the work.

He was very good. I had my septic system redone. The contractor had recommended him and so, I used him. He was friendly and prompt. He did what he said he would do. He cleaned up well around the property. I was very satisfied with his job. The job was completed on time. He was very efficient as well. He did the job he was hired to do and I did not have any complaints with him. The price was what I was expecting. I will use his services again in the future.

Service was excellent. Called one night at 8 p.m. planning to leave a message to ask for a quote. Instead I got a live person on the phone who agreed to come out the following day and leave a quote for us in our mailbox, which they did. We agreed to move forward and they said they would call in approximately 2 weeks when they anticipated they would be able to come do the removal. We got the call 2 1/2 weeks later and they showed up early the next day and made quick work of removing the trees. When the crane first drove into the back yard, it rolled over some sort of old well that had been capped with cement and covered with grass. We had no idea the well was there, but once the crane cracked it open when it drove over the well, we had a huge, deep hole in the back yard (luckily the crane was ok and so was everyone on the job!). Chuck offered to call a local company to come and fill in the hole for us and it was all taken care of within the hour. About a week after all the trees were removed, they came back to grind down the stumps, again, quickly and efficiently. They were great to work with and very responsive, which we appreciated.

Used the neighboring apartment building to seat the crane, bucket truck and chipper without interfering with anyone or damaging the pavement. Arrived in the time slot he arranged, and had the tree down and gone in 1.5 hours. Came next day to remove large trunks, again without interfering with anyone. Cleaned their parking lot thoroughly. Was fully insured, and professional. Was also the lowest price, compared to the top bid of $3,000. Also removed brush from the tree that had fallen in the ice storm. I would highly recommend him.
