Gene hardy Flooring has re-done all the flooring in the bedrooms in my home as well as made area rugs to compliment my kitchen and dining room, they were very helpful in the selection process, providing me with design help and knowledge of the products. From the time of measurement to delivery and install Gene Hardy Flooring was extremely professional and easy to work with. Being in the building industry I now send all my customers to Gene Hardy Flooring for all their flooring and tile needs.. no one else in Massachusetts can top their customer service, not to mention the quality and great prices!

The owners communication is very poor. The people they sent were extremely messy. They were inaccurate with their tile cutting which caused a month delay in the project. No apologize or follow up from the owner or the company. I would not recommend them. Overall, very bad experience.

They were good. I heard about them in the neighborhood. I had a time pressure and they did on time. I'll stuck with him. The price was okay. He did a good job.

Gene Hardy came out himself to measure the job and offer me ideas on the best products for my home. While Gene was at the house he saw my 2 dogs running around chasing each other and realized that we would need a durable product that wouldn't scratch or wear, he was able to get us a great Laminate product (even upgraded our pad) for just a little more than the original product we selected. The install was fast and painless for us, the installer even took the time to speak with us about the product and made us feel very confident with our selection. Later in the week we had our tile installed and we couldn't be happier. The tile surround in our tub is amazing it is like something out of a tropical resort. The craftsmanship is second to none and the entire crew was nothing but professional. The carpet install was quick and easy the installer was in and out so fast I was able to have both bedrooms back together before the end of the night. Gene came out once the job was complete and made sure we were happy and even took some pictures of the install for his website. I couldn't be happier with the entire process, it is great to know that there are still some small businesses in the area that are willing to go above and beyond to make the customer happy. I have since recommended Gene Hardy Flooring to some friends and they have all had great things to say.

The carpet installation was done perfectly. The installers were very professional. They removed the old carpeting and took it with them. The seams are done so nicely that you can't find where the seam is... The hardwood flooring looks very nice and the installer knew what he was doing; however I he did cut corners. The family room has a step down which needed to have a hardwood step installed and finished on site versus the flooring which came pre-finished. The installer did a crappy job with the step. He only applied one coat of poly, which resulted in him having to return to apply a second since the step was rough and was catching your socks on it. Additionally the molding around the stairs was left unfinished. I had to ask him to put a piece of wood where the step ended, which looks terrible. When he came out the second time to apply the other coat of poly he ended up dripping the poly on the brand new flooring. I called Gene immediately and he was very responsive and came by to clean up the drip marks. Don't get me wrong the hardwood looks amazing; however when you pay good money for flooring you don't want to have to critique and chase someone down to do the job right. I would use Gene again in the future and would highly recommend him.

We found Gene Hardy flooring and they replaced and then installed a complete wall to wall carpet and stairs for our large master bedroom. The work was done professionally, no seams, and the stairs are remarkable. The carpet is a superior quality and has a great deal of traffic and still looks good after many years. We were so pleased we hired them again to tile a laundry room and entrance hallway. Not only are the materials beautiful, they had a challenge with uneven levels which they solved using a creative design of tiles masking the uneveness. We have beautiful hardwood floors throughout the house and these professionals refinished them and they appear brand new. After many problems with a lower level flooding, they provided a solution with their flexitec wood-like flooring that everyone thinks is wood. It has a cushion unlike similar products and is resistant to water problems. We highly recommend the entire Gene Hardy team as professionals in installation, creative design , excellent quality, and a very fair price meeting the estimates that were given.

We went to Gene's showroom in Taunton to look at the choices, and there are a lot, and to schedule a home visit. Gene was right on time for the appointment, measured, offered suggestions, and provided us with a price quote that was very reasonable when compared to the others we were looking at. The father/son team that installed the carpeting (sorry cant remember their name) were very prompt and professional. At the tiem we were just looking at installing the carpeting in our dining room area, living room, and stairs/hallway leading to our second floor. They completed the project in less than a day (including fixing our creeky stairs). We are now looking at installing a new floor in our kitchen and doorway entrance and there we are going straight to Gene.
