The electrician that was sent was outstanding, professional, knowledgeable, very personable and he replaced the circuit breakers as requested. I give 5 stars for service and 1 star for cost. The job took 2 hours (including time for full home safety inspection), 3 standard circuit breakers and the cost was over $1000. The invoice listed price per breaker and not parts and labor.

was a emergency Situation when my daughter who was alone at home and suffering from Asthma attack when the AC stopped working. we are with Angi for years now got the booking done on Tuesday 28th and for the next day service (Wednesday 29th 2024)

Technician was on-time, knowledgeable, polite, and thorough. Everything was clean after he was done. No complaints.

Came in to install a new faucet and trap in the bathroom. On time, polite, and courteous. There was a slight leak in one of the flex lines. Came back the next day and rectified the problem. A good experience.

On 2/22/2024 Cotti Johnson installed a new boiler in my home to replace the old one. I paid them $1000 for a down payment and still have to pay off a loan amount of $12,940 for this entire disservice. There have been nothing but problems since the install. Primarily, there have been gallons of water pouring from my radiators each time I turn on my heat. I have been without heat now for over a month. I've called them back out multiple times to resolve the issue and still have no resolution. Most recently, the company is requesting I pay them over $800 to replace the air vents (which sell for $35 each) on 3 of the radiators because that’s now allegedly the problem. They are refusing to help me if I don’t agree to this. Previously, the air vent replacement was a merely a suggestion as they “may be damaged from the flooding”.

DO NOT HIRE FOR HVAC. Cotti Johnson has been the single worst contractor I have ever dealt with to date. If you have a simple HVAC repair, they may be able to do it but it's a gamble. If you have a large HVAC related work to be done, do yourself a favor and hire a company that understands the equipment they're dealing with. Where to start... I hired Cotti-Johnson to replace my old oil boiler with a modern heat pump system as the main source of heat for my house. Thomas Kelly, who was the initial person that came and made recommendations on the replacement system, should not be in the business of recommending heating systems to people. First of all, there's no heat load calculation of any kind, which is the first red flag but I didn't know any better at the time. They simply guess based on the size of the house without knowing a single thing about insulation or any other factor. Second mistake was recommending a single indoor head for an entire first floor that's separated by stairs in the middle of it. My initial concern with this was dismissed by Thomas who simply said "just give it a try!" Unfortunately, we're now stuck in a position where we can not remove the old boiler because the new system simply can not heat our first floor evenly. We have hot side and cold side and unfortunately our dining room is now permanently cold. It has been months of unanswered calls and emails and numerous back and forth to come up with a solution with still no end in sight. They do not return calls. Third mistake was installation. It took weeks to convince Cotti-Johnson and countless ignored calls and emails to get them to fix a mistake they made with the original install. Even then, they had to make multiple trips to finally realize they didn't account for line lengths accurately and undercharged the system. They finally did admit this and properly charged the system. They simply did not know how to deal with the equipment they're installing. I had to ask for proof of exactly how much refrigerant was being added in order for them finally do a proper calculation and add correct amount of refrigerant. Hire a diamond certified contractor if you want a Mitsubishi system and do not want to deal with these kind of amateur mistakes. Even after they finally did charge it to seemingly proper levels, they never installed back the brass screw caps for the outdoor unit or put the cover back on all the way. All around careless and amateur work. To add more insult to injury, I have been trying to get in touch with Cotti-Johnson for over 3 months for correcting inspection results and so far all of my calls and emails have been ignored. Learn from my mistakes and avoid this company at all costs.

I've been using Cotti-Johnson for a couple years now... They always show up on time, evaluate the problem or job, and give me an honest estimate... I've never been disappointed with any of their work... The Techs are great at explaining what needs to be done, informative, and honest...

Steve, who came out to do our estimate was awesome. Was more than happy to answer all my questions, even those unrelated to the project at hand. Tim and Mike did the actual work and were flexible and mostly nice but slightly abrasive at times. Seemed annoyed when I pointed out what Steve went over with me on how the work would be done. They had to cut a hole 6 inches long and 3 inches wide and while they said they patch any holes they have to make so they are paint ready, this was not the case. The patch amounted to stuffing spackle into the hole until no more would fit. Once it dried it recessed a quarter inch from the rest of the wall so certainly not paint ready. With all that being said I would recommend Cotti-Johnson. Really appreciated the 30 minute call ahead and the texts summarizing who the electricians are before they arrive was very a nice touch as well.

Don't waste your time or money. I signed up for their Cotti Care Plan in the Summer of 2022. They were supposed to come and service my AC in July 2023 but no-called no-showed not once but twice. In between I had an electric emergency - sparks coming from the control panel - and they refused to send someone that day. I ended up going with a different company who came immediately. They're nice enough on the phone but when it comes to holding up their end of the agreement you will be disappointed and left wondering what happened

It went great! Eric showed up on time and performed all the work that was scheduled. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Stacey, office staff, was also very helpful in lining up the work and following through. I would definitely call Cotti-Johnson the nest time I need electrical work done.

Dan did such a great job. He was very knowledgeable and I could tell he cared about making it look right. He was willing to show me a couple of layout options and even offered to go through the trouble of showing me several light temperature settings which would have involved a lot of extra work. He went the extra mile and I would recommend him as well as Cotti Johnson to anyone. Their sales reps are informative, friendly, easily reachable, and we’re able to schedule in the near future, rather than months down the road like a lot of other companies. I give the experience a 12 out of 10 and if you give them a try, I’m willing to bet you’ll think the same.

They were terrible over priced...$864 plus a $59 deposit for 1 hr of work.. To install a circuit breaker. An electrical outlet and run a wire from one end of the basement to the next...

They did a lot electrical work for us including installing lights, switches, ceiling fan, outlets, lighted mirrors as well as moving and installing cable. They did an amazing job. Tim and Mike were great to work with.

J.T. came to evaluate installation of an over-the-range microwave. He was very thorough and explained everything so I could understand the complexities of the installation. Very friendly and competent!

JT called and asked if he could come earlier than expected, which was perfect for me. He was extremely thorough reviewing our electrical system and the finished product of the work he did (installing a new 220v line for an outdoor hot tub) was clean and efficient. He was a joy to meet and speak to, incredibly nice guy. Price was reasonable for the work. I would 100% recommend JT and Cotti-Johnson again!

Daniel and team was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. I had a smart switch issue with multiple poles and they were able to solve the problem and make the right connections. Additionally, they identified a faulty breaker and replaced easily. Any other services they recommended as part of the whole house safety assessment, they did not push for anything and was very clear on the optionality and overall value if I wanted to pursue. I ended up electing a whole house surge protector as it was something I was considering and their service made it an easy decision to move forward with it. Overall, I had done a great deal of research and very glad I went with Cotti-Johnson.

They were here for over two hours. Efficient and professional. I was happy to write out the check, a little pricy though honestly don't know how much another company would have charged. Their online reviews were exceptional. It's worth it to have professionals who are knowledgeable and able to explain the issues to a lay person. Will hire them for preventative maintenance in the fall. They also gave us some energy saving tips. They just came today so hopefully our HVAC system will now run more efficiently.
