I was the one who was making the decision, but soon as they asked the question if I was married and when I said yes, they said that my wife had to be there. I had to go challenge them to make sure that they would be willing to come out. It was definitely a sales tactic. I can understand that it was a large priced item and that they didn't want to waster their time coming out if both decision makers weren't going to be there. I kept telling them that I was the decision maker. I wasn't happy with them. I would not use them again. I just didn't like that kind of a thing. I understood where they were coming from. They don't want to go out giving quotes before having the home owners say, that's nice, but I really need to ask my wife. It was difficult.

I was very satisfied with them. I don’t remember how much I spent on their services. They kept their appointments. They were careful in doing the work and even did some extra work. They did some extra insulation and installed what was needed. I can’t comment on their price because I didn’t do any comparison shopping. I think it was fair though. I will use their services again in the future.

I signed up for window consultations on the internet. Champions was the first to call. The woman said I had to have my husband available. I explained to her I make these decisions in our household & my husband preferred to not be part of this. I was told they wouldn't come without my husband being their. WOW!!!!! its the year 2011 Champions, woman earn money, and make many decisions on their own. This is so backwards & outrageous!

Sales person came to house to explain how the windows are made and how much they will save in dollars on heat, etc. Would never disclose how much each window (size) costs until final numbers came in. I had wanted and ordered a garden window over my kitchen sink but after I found out just how expensive this window was, I changed my order. I cannot complain about the quality of the windows. I just think they are way overpriced. However, as far as professionalism, dependability, reputation, etc., I decided to go with them because I didnt want any surprises as always seems to happen whenever I try to do something with a repairman! Window installation went very smoothly. Overall, I would recommend Champion.

The windows took a while to come in, but were really high quality when they arrive The french door is beautfiul. Champion subcontracts all the installations. The subcontractor (Mike) was incredible in his detail work. His trim out on the outside was meticulous. The installation of the windows took longer than anticipated, but was due only to the installer taking time to make things perfect. The Slider (really old and leaky) being replaced by a single French Door and a window added so much usable space and a great feel to our kitchen. We are extremely happy with the entire experience.

I was very satisfied with them. They are very professional company. I looked at a lot of different providers and I thought Champion Window is the best. The technical people in the field are absolutely great. They were tidy and clean. They cleaned up after they were done. They were very good all way round and there wasn't a lot that I didn't like about them. They were very competitive. They weren't the cheapest and I wasn't looking for the cheapest but I was looking for the best all way round. I've been doing heavy constructions and I never look for a cheapest contractor because it's just not a good thing. They supplied a superior product and they were very concerned about any issues I had relevant to their product. They were very concerned with my opinion. Champion is a very good company. They had a lot of security devices in it. They exceed all government ratings for insulation factors. I'm just very happy with them and I'm glad that I went with them.

They were excellent and did a great job. We have done numerous projects with Champion and they have done a good job. Some of the materials that they use are not the greatest but its fine. We have a screen door switch that slides up and down; we have had it fall off like 4 times and they have fixed it. The work that they do is pretty good and they come when they say they are going to come. They try and get the job done as soon as possible and not drag the job for a long period of time. The two big projects that I did with them were replacing the windows in the front of my house and the patio. They accomplished both the projects in a decent amount of time and replaced it with an end result. Since they have done works for me in the past, I have been comfortable with them doing work for me. I will continue to use them in the future and as a matter of fact they will be here next week for some work.

Called Champion; they had someone come out promptly to look at the broken awning. Very friendly and professional, recommended repair as less expensive alternative. Told would probably cost ~ $300 but would call with firm quote and follow up in next few days. Week went by, no call back so I called and left message. Another week went by, same thing, no return. Called again and spoke to office manager who apologized and said salesman had been very busy but would make sure he called. I said I understood if they were not interested due to small size of job but she assured me they were interested in all work. That was two weeks ago and still no response. In my opinion, someone should have called me and said either they were too backed up to get to the work in a timely manner or had decided they did not want the job due to small size;. The total lack of response and failure to return three messages over more than a one month period is an unacceptable business practice.

Called and inquired about aluminum surrounds for new windows I have installed. Person on the phone seemed confused and put me on hold, then hung up. I called back and she stated that she was about to call me back. Asked the question again and added we would need siding repair as well and I was put on hold once again. A gentlemen picked up the phone and said that all the managers were out of the office and would call me the next day. Well, I never received a call back and my feeling is that they do not want my business if it doesn't include windows.

The price was definitely higher but then we felt that it was in line with others after negotiations. However, the quality of their work was good. If need be, then I would definitely consider using their services in the future.

Champion removed our old windows (original to home) and installed replacement windows. They visited our home twice: once for a demo and explanation of product & services, and the second time to measure our windows. We received a quote at the end of the first visit. The window installation took a bit longer, but it was worth the wait as the job was done professionally with attention to detail. They cleaned up after the work as well. Overall, we were pleased with the job. The only minus was the higher price.

We had many preliminary meetings with Ted, as we did not know exactly what we wanted or where we wanted the structures built. Ted was very patient and understanding addressing our design changes, even after we signed the contract. Unexpected work had to be done as rot was discovered after the demolition of the exisiting decks. I also increased the size of the deck, post contract. Both items were addressed by Champion at a very small additional cost. Champion started construction of the Sun Room on schudule and completed it in just a few weeks. I am very impressed with there professionalism, flexiblility and desire to make the customer happy. Also, of course their building materials and techniques are top notch. They have a great warranty, are endorsed by Good Housekeeping, have been around a long time an their workers are employees not contractors.

Champion was the only company that sent a sales person and I thought that they would. The only thing that I did not like was that when it came to the end of the estimate he did that thing those sales people do that I really hate. He said, ?If you sign with us today I?ll knock off two thousand dollars.? They were the first person that I had seen for the windows and I was not going to do that, plus their price was very high.

We went to the showroom during a Sunday Sale. Learned about windows then ordered them. Salesman (Carl) was very helpful in pricing them out. Came to the house that same day after work and measured. We put down a deposit. Windows were measured a second time for acuracy, the triangle was actiually measured three times. Order was placed and windows came in 6 weeks later. They scheduled an appointment and brought the windows and started the job. It took a total of six visits because every time the installer (also named Carl) got to our house, it started to pour. He did a great job on installing the wndows and wrapping the frames around the windows. Very professional (in fact I would ask for him to do my windows) very tidy and very determined to get every window right. Great job.

I called before the installation to confirm that they were coming, going to install the windows and do the other stuff; Champion said yes. When the guys arrived, I asked them everything they were going to do, and they said the windows. They knew nothing about the other projects they were going to do, nor did they have the equipment for it (not their fault). After an hour of waiting for the Champion manager to arrive, he spoke to the guys to tell them everything else they were doing, and dropped off some other equipment they would need for the other projects. The guys ended around 6:30, there were 2 guys on the job. They never stopped working/took a break. They were nice, but they did not speak English great, so it was slightly difficult to understand them or communicate with them. I did not think Champion uses subs, but I think I mis-understood..they do use subs. The guys did not wrap one of the windows correct, so I had to call and the manager came out to look at it, and he confirmed it needed to be re-wrapped and a few other things needed to be done. I called a week later to see when the guys would come back, and someone was out a week later. I am happy with the window now. I am not sure if I would use Champion again, but everything is guaranteed, so if there are problems, just call them back. Overall, the windows are great so far, and the gutter and dryer vent came out great.

It took them months and months to do the job, when they did show up they only sent 1 man to work! It was worse than building a whole house. When it was first built there were alot of leaks so they had to come out a couple for repairs. The end product was an A but the labor part was a C-.

An error was made when the measurements were transcribed onto the order sheet. Two windows were the wrong size. Most of the windows had the wrong grids. All of the windows had half screens, instead of the full screens we ordered. Our original order form was vague, we thought we were screwed. However, the people at Champion were sincere in making sure we were happy. They found where the error happened. Showed us we were correct in our claims. Made everything right and bent over backwards to make sure. Errors happen to anybody, but these people are more about having satisfied customers than moving on to some quick profits. We were impressed with the sincerity of their efforts. We will probably have them install their slider window in our new addition. We do suggest that you get a copy of the order before it is sent to the factory, so you don't have to worry about how honorable they are.

I own a 130 year old house and they had a hard time with the back door especially. I went with them for custom work, primarily because it is an old house and they guarantee their work. They measure carefully. They're prompt. It was a difficult installation from what I could see and they worked hard to make it level and tight. They offer a good selection in their showroom. They're expensive but they offer more quality than some other home improvement stores. They do custom work so they took a couple of months but they did a very nice job.

They were on time and professional when they were giving us an estimate. At the end of the day the price that they did give me was reasonable. They were very polite and courteous and easy to work with.

It was a difficult time to get a hold of them. But once they came out they were great and professional and did well and kept me updated what was going on.

The windows were all in place at the end of the first day and during the second day of work the outside trim and insulation was completed. The pair of workmen were very polite and courteous. There was a bit of a late start on the first day, but it was the day after a major snow storm. I am incredibly happy with my new windows and the whole experience.

We were pleased with Champion. Their products are very high quality. They were average in terms of pricing but service was very responsive and professional. For example, they sent us periodic status reports on our order by email. We would absolutely use them again.

called my salesman Ian Zmed, surprised he remembered me from last year but he did. told him my problem. he had repairman call me back to arrange time for repair. repairman was very friendly and professional. came on time and repaired the window. window repair was covered under limited lifetime warranty. overall, repair was easy from start to finish.

I was very happy to have gone to Champion to get my windows done right. I was given a third off coupon to do this and man what a difference it was in the cost. Between this and the quality of these new windows, our heating bills have gone down dramatically. I would recommend this company to anyone out there who really needs a cost effective way to save money on heating bills and doesn't want to spend too much to do so.

There was a major mistake with this shutter order. The wrong style shutters were ordered and installed. Upon finding out this major mistake, I called the office and spoke with my salesman. He did some investigating and found that the company made the mistake. It was a legitimate mistake and will be corrected at no cost to me. Overall I am pleased with the service and quality of work.
