Bay State Paint Systems

It stated out ok, except for him and his "crew" being late arrivals. They had to strip wallpaper in the master bedroom and loft, family room and dining room/living room, prep the walls and paint along with the ceilings on the first and second floors. They were never on time, did not show up several days and were incredibly sloppy and incompetent. Also, they flat out lied about putting a second coat of paint anywhere. They damaged my furniture by scratching it and getting paint on it in the bedroom. According to the contract, they were supposed to cover everything which apparently, they did not. Additinally, there was damage tot he rugs (latex paint) and mud tracked into the house, up the stairs and all over the second and third floor. ther eis paint spatters on my air conditioner, book cases and furniture upstairs. The owner is a major liar, telling us that he has "5 stars" and a great crew. On the rare occasions that he came to the job site, all he did was talk about his help and his finances. After 18 days, we had enough and fired him. He was totally UNPROFESSIONAL as a business owner and totally INCOMPETENT as a painter.

They destroyed my house. I had to stay in a hotel. They destroyed all my rugs. I had to have somebody come and fix the work which they couldn't even totally fix since they'd destroyed the wall so much. They say they'd be coming in then they show up 2 hours later, talk for 2 hours, work an hour late and destroy the place in the mean time. I only paid them half of what I owed them because they never finished the job.
