Carl started the job by lying to us and saying he had a team of workers. This was false he works alone and because of that I did most of the demo and all the cleanup to try to help move the project along seeing he “ had no team “ The job was to replace the old side porch with a new covered porch and replace back deck seeing I did all the demo and clean up I figured it wouldn’t take that long boy was I wrong. Carl showed up a couple hours a day and seemed more interested in talking to my wife then working. He would leave for an hour to get lunch come back pack up his tools and leave. a project that should have taken 8 weeks dragged on for 5 months. After patiently watching this I told Carl he had 2 weeks to complete the job or I am hiring someone else to finish it. Carl became very angry and threatening bumping my chest and getting in my face making such a scene my wife and daughter came to see what was happening. Carl continued swearing at me and threatening me saying I’ll knock your teeth down your throat you piece of **** you don’t pay me your wife does so I don’t listen to you I informed Carl that I pay him and Carl was ordered off the property and told not to return. The building inspector was also asked to come out and check his work seeing he told us we didn’t need a permit. I’m waiting on the inspection so I will update this post after it’s complete. Like the previous review while working at the job he also had his grandkids dropped off at the job site this seems to be a common practice. Not only did he not complete the job once I reviewed the limited invoices he provided to my wife it was quickly realized he was taking advantage of us. He was charging us for stuff he didn’t do and double charging for materials and labor. Carl Reusch is a con artist and cheat and I would never recommend her to anyone I know. If your looking to be conned and taking advantage of then he’s your contractor
