Pimentels Excavation & Landscaping

Gil promised to complete a two day excavating job for me to fix a water issue I was having. Gil showed up for 4 hours, said the job was done and demanded payment immediately. Turns out he made the problem worse, and he promised to come back but gave me the run around and never came. When I asked for my money back, he said he would give me a refund, but then completely disappeared and never responded. He has an awful temper and is really condescending. He lost his cool and screamed and swore at me on the phone when I was always cordial to him even after he messed up my yard. I would warn anyone who would listen against using this guy for any work.

First there were nothing but excuses regarding delays; then he did clear the brush, spread some loam - unfortunately some was on healthy grass which is now dead, ran out of loam and never returned with the rest and never seeded. Again, endless excuses, and always no show. Even the threat of small claims court hasn't brought him around.

Worst experience ever. It seemed ok until the top soil was filled with rocks and glass much larger than the 1/2" screened he claimed to have used. Did not seed at the right time with the right soil conditions and tried to blame no grass that we weren't watering enough. Had never contacted a company to grind down the tree stump even though he kept blaming them for not doing what he asked. We filed the claim with BBB and he didn't respond to that either. He was just found in default for our court case so we can get our money back. Use caution!

I hired this jerk to level my yard and build a retaining wall back in the winter. the project was supposed to get started in Mar. This gut took the 4k that I gave him, made a huge mess of my property and never came back!! His communication is the worst that I've ever seen any business person have. He's is full of lies, he strings his customers along feeding them a whole heap of complete BS and has nothing to answer for it. and can absolutely NOT be trusted. I eventually had to fire him because my yard wasn't getting done. my whole summer was ruined because my yard was all dirt because of his lack of professionalism. I hired someone else and the job was complete within a few weeks. Please do not waste your time or your money on giving this guy a chance because you will be absolutely disappointed. I would give him ZERO stars if I was able to and because of how horrible this guy was, my wife and I are hesitant on any future projects. I have pictures, text messages and everything to prove how horrible this guy is and it may even be taken to court so please, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR ENERGY HIRING GILBERT PIMENTAL!! Extremely disappointed and angry with him as he as just made a lifetime enemy and I hope his business fails. I pictures and text messages of how horrible this went upon request.
