PETER YASI MASONRY

We are very happy to recommend Peter Yasi to anybody who is looking for a great masonry contractor. Peter did an outstanding job for us building front steps and a walkway, fitting the steps precisely into a curve between two retaining walls. We would like to specifically call out Peter's quality of work, attention to detail, responsiveness and a quick turn-around. And the steps look great!

This was a great experience from start to finish. From my initial call, to the completion of the projects, was probably 10 days. Not only was Peter very quick to do my repairs (full chimney rebuild (with cap) and exterior foundation re-pointing), he was also professional and meticulous with the clean up of my yard. He came highly recommended and now I know why. I would not use another mason as long as Peter is around.

We couldn’t be more pleased. Peter returned our call promptly, came right away to provide estimates for each project, and on the date he gave us, arrived right on time. In fact, we joked that we could set our watch by him—he’s punctual, reliable, conscientious, and trustworthy. The work took place exactly as he described. He also returned to be sure we were satisfied. We would absolutely call him again and recommend him highly. Peter is outstanding.

Peter and his helper did a good job repairing my steps. He was responsive to my calls and punctual. Did the work on 2 days without a problem. Would use again.

Peter is very responsive - came over to see what I wanted done, made some suggestions about the area off deck where I wanted pavers, and came over the next week to do the pavers and cement the critter holes. Have used him before and have recommended him to some of my friends. We've all been pleased with the timeliness, professionalism, price, and quality of the work. Highly recommend.

Overall my experience was very positive. Peter quickly came over for a free estimate and clearly explained the work that needed to be done. The quality of the job was top-notch. The price was a little higher than other estimates but the quality made up for it. I had some minor issues regarding scheduling. The job has to be rescheduled a couple of time due to weather. Communication regarding the rescheduling was lacking, leaving me waiting for them to show up until I eventually called to find out that they weren't coming due to weather. A call or notice that schedules had changed would have been nice. Despite the scheduling issue, I was overall happy with the work and would not hesitate to hire Peter and his crew again.

He did an excellent job. We were really extremely happy. We would hire him again if we needed to do more masonry work.

I spent about 15 minutes to half an hour with him. The quote was for $975. He was great, but for some reason I felt more comfortable with another company as they were local.

Our front steps stonework was falling apart and they needed to be redone. Contacted Peter, after going over options, we decided on the best one and he came by the following Monday and completed the job in two days - as projected. Stairs a beautiful. Very professional, detail oriented.

Beautiful work! I was nervous, but it looks fantastic and really makes the house look less worn. He gave me a quote and then when he came to do the work, he called me back to let me know he had missed something in the original estimate and it would be a little more. He seemed very sincere and apologetic...I got the feeling it was a genuine oversight so it wasn't a big deal.

Peter was great. Came by the house and provided an estimate while I was at work, very prompt with the estimate. Advised on the height of the chimney and recommended against altering the height. I had to follow up to find out the exact date I was on his calendar, but he showed up that day and completed the work. The chimney looks great.

I had a very good experience with this business. The quote was reasonable for the amount of work we wanted done. I didn't meet everyone who worked on the job because of my schedule but they did good work. The clean up was very good and I was thrilled with how well they did.

Peter came over promptly to estimate and started work the next week. They were always there on time, did very nice work, cleaned up each day, and what I really appreciated, with 3 house cats, they always shut the door from kitchen to the cellar, so no cat escapes. They were professional and an overall great experience. Will definitely use them again for other projects.

Peter was prompt and business like for the evaluation and estimate. He and his crew showed up at the appointed date and time, were mindful of walking through the house and finished the job in one business day. No stress whatsoever on my part. I would definitely hire him again for another masonry job.

He took down an aged chimney on my house, and rebuilt it from the flashing with new brick. He scheduled the job when he said he would (when the weather was conducive to masonry), kept to the original estimate, and cleaned up the site afterward.

We had gotten an estimate from another company that was twice as much for the same job. We were very happy with his work. Another job he did for us was to re-point some bricks in the cellar and on the fieldstone exterior. Our home is over one hundred years old. He cleaned up so well when he was done that you couldn't even tell he had been there.
