The Organic Mattress

In the past three years, I have purchases two twin, two queen, and one king latex mattress from The Organic Mattress. Because my family has a history of allergies and asthma, although everyone is now healthy, I would rather spend my money on quality mattresses than on medications. When my two children graduated from college and left home, I launched each of them with a new latex queen mattress. For my husband and me, I chose the Green Sleep king mattress, which has several layers of latex from a firm layer on the bottom to a soft layer on the top, which makes for the most amazingly comfortable mattress we have ever had. One of the mattresses, that I purchased, is called The Cloud for good reason. The first time that I visited The Organic Mattress, I was skeptical because I had once been to a different mattress store that sold latex mattresses that smelled like rubber tires with a hint of vanilla. John, the owner, took the time to educate me about the scent of a pure latex mattress. The latex mattresses at The Organic Mattress have a very pleasant scent that reminds me of lemon meringue pie. Since the latex is pure, there is no off-gassing, but the scent gradually fades and disappears within a month. John is extremely knowledgeable about the brands of latex mattresses on the market and offers a selection of mattresses at various thicknesses and prices. Because my family lives within 50 miles of the store, all of the deliveries and recycling of old mattresses have been free. Because I am health conscious, I have chosen to buy my pure latex mattresses from The Organic Mattress. The fact that they are a slice of heaven for sleeping is just an added bonus.
