I have been thrilled with all aspects of the work done by this contractor. They are a very professional organization and have the capabilities to handle the very complex project that I have contracted with them. Cost and scope of work negotiations in pursuit of a Purchase Agreement for all 3 phases of the project were done professionally and with an exceptionally high degree of integrity. My main interface, Gene Williams, has shown a high degree of professionalism and patience working through some very complex issues associated with this project and has been a tremendous asset in keeping this project on cost and schedule. The work crews have shown up on -time, done exceptional work and been responsive to my needs as the project has progressed. I look forward to working with Target Painting and Contracting on the final 2 phases of this project and will use them again for any similar work I need to have done in the future.

We had extensive damage to our home exterior from the ice dams and general aging. Gene and his team responded quickly to our inquiry and gave us an extensive proposal quickly. We were on the tail end of the painting season and Gene was honest with us about the challenges of getting the full job done before the cold weather came in. He gave us several options to choose from and we felt as though he was honest and thorough throughout the process. The crew showed up on time every day and worked all day until the job was done. Any time they ran into issues, Gene communicated with us. We are grateful to have found this crew after an awful experience with a previous painter left us in a very bad spot. We'd use Gene and his crew again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

From our very first meeting we knew that we had selected the right painters for our job. Their estimator was upfront and honest with us and made sure we knew exactly what we were getting before the project started. Their price was slightly higher than the other contractors that we met with but we feel that we got everything and more that me paid for. The attention to detail and professionalism of their team was far and above any company we have dealt with in the past. Their crew showed up ON TIME every day and made sure that before they left every day the job site was left clean. We strongly recommend using Target painting especially if you have been burned but an inferior painter in the past. We plan on using Target Painting for all of our future projects!

Gene and his team did a great job on the entire project. Though we had called just to get the exterior painting done, Gene explained other works that the property may need for a long lasting finish that included repairs to the siding at many places. We also wanted to replace a few windows. Target has a great team to take up any such repairs. Repairs were taken up only as needed helping us to keep the project cost under control. He was very reasonable with pricing for the required repair work and adjusted scope of work many times to suit our budget. A primary coat followed by two coats of painting were taken up after repairs. It was excellent ! The project was completed on time as promised. Overall a courteous team and a great job! Will be happy to have their services again.

We had been burned by a low-cost painter several years ago and were left with peeling paint and rotting clapboards all around the house. We reached out to Target Painting because of its reputation for customer service, high-quality work, and finishing jobs on time and on budget. After reaching out to Target, Gene Williams visited our house and listened to us as we outlined our needs. He patiently walked around the house with us and produced a very detailed estimate, which included options regarding paint type and contingencies for additional carpentry. Whenever an unanticipated expense arose ? replacing a screened porch that was listing dangerously, additional carpentry and installing a new front door ? Gene reached out to us to discuss it. He visited the house to show us why the extra work was necessary and gave us the option of declining before any additional work commenced. When the extra costs exceeded our original budget, Target was willing to work with us to create a flexible financing plan. We were thrilled with Target?s work and extremely pleased with the way the house looks. We highly recommend the company.

The salesman that came out was prompt and friendly (Steve). He let me know everything that was included in the price and gave me a price on his first visit. This was helpful in the decision making process. When the workers arrived, there were two men, neither of whom spoke a word of english making it impossible for me to point out things I wanted them to do. They came and power washed the house but forgot key areas. Since they spray the paint on (they do not use brushes which is why it is so inexpensive), they have to tape off everything that should not be painted. They missed a couple of windows!! I had paint on the window frames that was difficult to reach and remove (they did not remove it themselves). The next morning, they arrived very early and sprayed the entire house. When I arrived, I saw a number of areas that were not covered completely and looked swirled. I also noticed the windows that were not covered in plastic. I tried to communicate with the workers but they had no idea what I was talking about. The owner and salesman arrived later to speak to the workers but that was already after they had sprayed my brand new windows and gotten paint all over various parts of the house that shouldn't have been painted. When the owner arrived, he directed the workers to do the things I had pointed out. I came back the next day to find a mess. The trim was painted once so I could see brush marks everywhere and the old paint underneath. All it needed was another coat. I shouldn't have had to tell professional painters this. I also found dozens of unfilled nail holes and minor cracks all over the overhang, siding and window frames that should be routine to fill with caulk, sand and paint. One of the things I was told that was to be included in the price was 10 hours of 'carpentry' work. All I wanted was them to sand down the areas that appeared rough/bumpy, fix any dented soffets/corners and fill the holes before painting. The bottom line, these guys did absolutely NO prep work on my house before they started spraying. It looked terrible. I made a list of things to point out to the owner who had to come a second time before I would pay them the balance. The owner got the workers to start doing the things I had pointed out. had to leave. I handed the owner the balance for the job and when I came back, many of the nail holes, unpainted areas, sloppy areas etc... were not corrected. I will not use Target Painting again. It is worth it to pay a bit more and get the proper prep work. If you don't the result is so bad that you'll have to redo the work yourself or look at the eye sore. Steve was the best part of Target Painting. NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A SHINGLED HOUSE, DO NOT SPRAY IT THEN USE A BRUSH TO TOUCH UP MISSED SPOTS. The color will vary a lot because of the amount of paint that soaks in. This should have been pointed out to me by professionals BEFORE they did this and left the job. My house has dark spots everywhere they touched up with a brush. Too cold to fix it so I'm stuck with it.
