+ -1 moreSteve and crew were punctual, very personable, and did not try to charge me more than originally quoted, even though the project ended up being way more extensive than any of us had realized would be. The reseeded area grew back beautifully in record time!
Description of Work: Extracted large tree roots and stump from backyard, loamed and re-seeded area.

Description of Work: Made an appointment for the owner to come at 8 am to quote a spring clean-up and mulch job. Never showed, never called. Late for work for nothing.

+ -1 moreI called the company number and left a voice mail requesting that someone contact me for an estimate for the service I required. Someone called me back the next day and we scheduled to have a person come by to give me an estimate. I took time off from work to meet with the person but unfortunately no one showed up. I called the company again only to get the voice mail. It has been several weeks now and I have not heard from the company. The incident has left me with a poor impression of the company and I do not intend to use them for the landscaping work.
Description of Work: Trimming of bushes, relocation of shrubs. Landscaping of front and back yard and lawn mowing.

+ -1 moreSteve Weir performed some wooden retaining wall work on my house when it was built in 1984. The walls are still there and in good shape, so Steve had the inside track to replace the edging. His bid was competitive. His crews are long-time employees that actually speak English, some of them even remembered putting in the original retaining wall. The work was done in one day, and great care was taken to not disturb the creeping plants that in some cases overhung the old edging. I put in the original driveway edging myself thirteen years ago. It's a compliment when I say that Steve did almost as good a job. The only issue is that they used some warped timbers and it created a somewhat ragged appearance.
Description of Work: Remove and replace landscape timbers edging a driveway. Match original curves, don't disturb plantings.
