Steve Andrade

Description of Work: They temporarily removed toilet in my first apartment for installation of a new bathroom floor. My tenant was away at home from a school break so apartment t was temporarily vacant. About a week later Andrade returned to reinstall the toilet. Shortly after my tenant returned to the apartment I noticed water dripping from the first floor toilet into the cellar. Their bill said , "removed toilet for installation of new floor and reinstalled toilet with new wax seal and bolts". Rather than recall Andrade I chose TJ Sillari plumbing to check out what was wrong. I didn't feel comfortable recalling Andrade because they didn't do the job right in the first place. Sillari discovered the first floor toilet was leaking. They removed and reset toilet with new 4 inch closet flange, new closet bolts and wax ring. This cost me $215.00 basically to fix the job Andrade didn't do right in the first place. September 25, 2012 I sent a letter to Andrade and attached a copy of the bill from Sillari outlining what they did for $215.00. September 29, 2012 Steve Andrade sent me an email basically saying he would not reimburse me anything. He should be most concerned that his people performed poorly that cost the customer more money to fix what they were paid for. Steve's email went into this big diatribe why he would reimburse me any amount. That is no way to conduct business and treat customers. I don't recommend Andrade plumbing.

Description of Work: 1. Replaced all the old valves (hot/cold/dishwasher) with quarter turn valves 2. Removed an old faucet, installed a new one we had purchased 3. Changed out the copper piping w/ new copper piping (raising it so that the new faucet pipes could reach the main) 4. Noticed we had a really bad trap pipe to our garbage disposal and replaced it
