PAINTERS ETCETERA

We contracted with Painters Etcetera of Sudbury, MA to stain the wood exterior of our house and to make the necessary repairs prior to painting. The job took a bit longer than a week. They tend to be booked well in advance and we actually contacted them almost a year earlier to get on their schedule. We called them based on the recommendation of a friend who had used their services several times over the years. They did an excellent job. They paid close attention to detail, were extraordinarily careful and precise, and completed every task with the highest quality workmanship. They were very easy to work with. They also recommend a carpenter, Tom Hall also of Sudbury, who works with them regularly. The carpenter worked to the same exacting standards and with the same care and attention to detail as the painters. When he discovered a substantial repair that was needed, he pointed it out, asked if we wanted it addressed which we did, adjusted his schedule to do the additional work, brought in two other experienced carpenters to help, and did an excellent job on that task as well as on various other spot repairs, all while working in a way that integrated seamlessly and without delay with the painting activities. We will definitely make use of Painters Etcetera and the carpenter, Tom Hall, again.

I was very happy with the job. Kevin and his crew arrived on time and on the day as promised. Kevin did a wonderful job preparing the exterior for painting (washing, sanding, priming, caulking, nailing loose boards etc) and completed the job within a few days. He even pressure washed the front stairs and porch stairs upon my request for no additional charge. Kevin gave us the best price (out of 3 estimates) and we later found out that he had painted this same house 15 or so years back!! His price came in a little higher that the estimate but this was due to use of extra primer.
