Description of Work: James O'Connell and crew installed a new asphalt roof and new gutters for us. They were close to the low bid of three bids we received. Excellent responsiveness and personal attention on the job site and during the bid by James O'Connell. So far the roof looks great and roof/gutters are performing during heavy rain.

Description of Work: James and his crew were very accommodating to our needs, which included re-roofing over part of then house, and a new rubber roof over a garage stall. The crew arrived at first-dawn, laid tarps over the shrubs, completed the projects and cleaned up all the messes before dark and before departing. Other than great results, one would never have known that they were there. Very efficient and professional!

Description of Work: My husband called several months ago to have them come and give us an estimate to install gutters on our whole house. The man he spoke to was nice and professional and said he would come that week to do an estimate. We never received an estimate (either in the door or in the mail) and never got any follow up. They had great reviews, and maybe we just hit them at a bad time or got lost in the shuffle, but we were disappointed none the less.

Description of Work: Replaced roof on a cape style house with asphalt shingles and on a shed dormer with EPDM.Courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient . 6 man crew got the job done in a day.Cleaned up all debris neatly - you would not know they had been here. Excellent work. Cost was competitive.

Description of Work: At this time, O'Connell Contracting has been unable to do the roof work that I needed to have done. This is not the firms fault since we have been having more than our share of rain in the New England area, and as of last night we had an early snow storm. When I first contacted O'Connell Contracting in early October, the company sent a representative to my house who evaluated the job and sent me a bid that looked reasonable. As of now, I have been put on their list of jobs to be down and will give you further feedback when the work is completed. Hopefully that will be in the next month or so. Jim Phelps
