 + 1 morethings started ok, responsive to phone calls/ email. I wanted to be home when they did the work but the didn't let me know when they were coming. Much was left undone. No mulch cleanup in bed by front door, in bed between steps and grill and there was no edging between the stones along one of the beds. After much back and forth, they came and did the clean up by the front door but never called/returned to do the other two items. While I was willing to forgive the missed hedging as they had hedged an area that wasn't quite part of the deal, I was very annoyed that they didn't finish the mulch and weed clean up in the small bed between the grill and steps. I am most annoyed after having paid them 180 per square yard of mulch and hedging I STILL need to buy mulch and complete the job.

 + 0 moreThey (a whole crew!) cam by the next morning to complete the first sweep of the yard! They were incredibly efficient, courteous, and thorough! They even asked if we wanted the leaves blown from the gutters! I will absolutely hire them again, and consider their company for services beyond just the seasonal leaf pick up. Bravo to Manny's Landscaping! I will be sharing my great experience to my neighbors and friends!
Description of Work: We needed to have leaves and assorted branches removed from our front and back yard. Our property has tons of trees, so a lot of leaves...when I contacted the company, I heard back from Nelma Jacob right away - and she came by the house for an estimate - same day! We asked for a quote on two visits, and received a very reasonable quote later that same day. She is very responsive and ready to answer any questions or concerns we may have with what they can provide.

 + 0 moreI highly recommend Manny's. Nelma has been a pleasure to work with. Today, Manny and crew came to do a second sweep of our yard (blowing and hauling away leaves). I arrived home from doing errands and noticed that the crew had finished my front yard and driveway and were in the back corner of my lot. I parked in the garage and decided to sweep a pile of leaves that had blown into my garage. I swept the leaves into the driveway. I had no expectation that Manny's crew would come back to the front yard and take care of these newly produced leaves. However, an hour or so later, I watched from my kitchen as they were driving away in their truck. Manny (I assume, having never met him), glanced at my front yard and drive as he was driving by. He abruptly stopped the truck, got out, and grabbed a leaf blower! He blew all the remaining leaves off my driveway! This was above and beyond and shows what good people they are!!

Description of Work: I needed some stone walls rebuilt. I called a friend for recommendations. I didn't want a high priced fancy "landscaper" stone wall at $$$ per linear foot as this was a frontage wall and the other frontage in the area was pretty rough. I just wanted my wall tidied up. I provided all the stone needed. Manny, who is just starting out in business for himself, was recommended. He said he would so a sample piece and we could discuss price later. He started with a second man, Jay, who was the wall builder and Manny assisted. The team gave me what I was looking for and so I had this team do much more wall repair than what I had planned. When it came to paying, Manny felt uncomfortable with telling me the price so I suggested a number I thought was fair and he was pleased. As he gets more experienced with being in business for himself, he needs to be more comfortable about price discussions and bring with him all the tools he'll need. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend him. He seems very eager to please.
