Wasp nest removal went extremely well. Trevor, the owner, inspected the situation and was very professional throughout - personally undertaking the removal. He also followed up with an after job site inspection. So nice to have work performed in a friendly, efficient and effective manner.

I offer my highest recommendation to this Sudbury based local company. I found them in the local yellow pages when I needed to find a pest control company to deal with mice. Not only did Trevor successfully handle the situation, but he was courteous, professional, and very much a calming influence. This is a small family owned business, and a truly local company. I will absolutely be calling them in the future for any pest control needs.

We've used AJ Williamson in the past and they do a thorough job performing outside and inside the house inspections. Always provide excellent recommendations for anything they observe e.g. rotted wood house trim, evidence of other insect pests, foundation cracks, etc. Would not hesitate to use them again for any pest control needs. They always exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness.

I was really impressed and very happy with the service provided by Williamson. They answered my call and were able to schedule an appointment the same week. On the day of the service, Alan called me and offered to come a little earlier than originally scheduled. Alan is very knowledgeable and gave me some good tips / advice on how to prevent problems in the future. He was very thorough and I am comfortable that I got a quality inspection performed. Peace of mind! I am very happy with the service performed and would not hesitate to contact Williamson again.

Contacted them on a weekend, heard back from them first thing Monday morning and lined up an estimate for a few days later. Al came an looked thoroughly at the house and barn, and was able to provide an immediate verbal estimate (which we asked for, as we were in a rush negotiating a P&S). Mailed his assessment to us in writing after that - email would have been quicker - but only a minor complaint for friendly and fast service and quick response time overall. Also answered extra questions I had by phone later without complaint.

We have been satisfied customers of Williamson Termite for about 40 years. We first contacted WT when we discovered termites swarming in our laundry room. WT rid our property of termites and treated our property to prevent their return. They also planted wood posts strategically around the house to use to test for termite activity in the future. There are also test points in the basement of our home. Since the original treatment, we have hired WT to perform an annual inspection every year. We have never had termites in the house since the original treatment. Over the years, we have also hired WT to rid our attic of carpenter bees, to treat a section of the house for carpenter ants, and to treat the soil beneath an expansion of our home, during construction, to prevent termites in that area. We have always been satisfied with the work that was performed, and are happy to recommend them to anyone who needs pest control.

Called for service. Technician arrived in less than an hour. Performed thorough inspection. Removed and treated all hornet and yellow jacket nests. Treated carpenter ants in an out building. Provided immediate response and very professional service. Have used them for over 20 years and have never been dissatisfied. Will continue to use them in the future and will highly recommend them to friends. Very affordable. Couldn't be happier with their service. I wish they could provide other home services.

Teresa made me try (as a layman) to guess what I needed for exact services. She was so concerned with what to charge me, that I had to guess (on the first call) if I needed indoor treatment for ants, as well as the house perimeter, in addition to the garage. I called because I was concerned about carpenter ants possibly being in my garage. **Even though their website says "FREE ESTIMATES"--check it out for yourself--she said they charge $45 because "time is money"--paraphrase. Wow. What a contradiction. They should remove the "FREE ESTIMATES" from their website, or tell Teresa to stop charging people for it. She said "We don't have a crystal ball" so we have to charge for showing up and estimating"--paraphrase. So, Teresa, that's exactly right. You don't have a crystal ball so that's why you need to show up and assess the situation and educate me about what I need. I don't know all the things to look for in my house regarding pests, yet you are making me commit to deciding if I need indoor service while we're on the phone. Are you kidding me? When I called a more reputable company, he spoke to me, advised me over the phone, had me look at the ants and their holes, etc. He ended informing me that I may not even need carpenter ant service (most likely), but he offered to come by anyway and NOT CHARGE ME $45 like Williamson. Teresa had said at one point that they've been in business for 40 some-odd years. So? What does that mean to me? I said if I call a plumber, I may not know exactly what is wrong (I may know the symptom), etc., but I need him or her to show up and tell me what's wrong and I should not have to guess that it may be a certain part that I need. He's not going to make me tell him over the phone that I need a specific part or service. He is going to show and assess, then he'll tell me what I need. How Does Williamson not know that? She said something like, well you either know you have a leak or not. Wow. Talk about clueless.

Al and Trevor have been inspecting and spraying our home for over 10 years now. They even call in the spring to remind us and are very flexible in coordinating with our schedule. They do an excellent and very thorough inspection and point out any items that could lead to insect issues. They have even pointed out other home repair items that needed attention that I had missed. They use chemicals that are environmentally sound and effective. We live in the woods and have lots of carpenter ants in the area but Al and Trevor keep them at bay with their routine and regular treatments. I can't say enough about their professional manner and their knowledge. It's a real joy to find a contractor who is so easy to deal with and knows their stuff. Definitely will continue to use them as long as I am a home owner in this area!

Al Williamson inspects both inside and outside and tells us of any problems that he finds. This year, for example, we had stored an couple of pieces of lumber under our back deck and he pointed out that we should move the wood away from the house. In addition he notes anything that he finds even when not related to termite possibilities. For instance, he noticed that some bricks in our chimney are loose and should be fixed--and we have already called to have that taken care of. Several years we have had ant problems that were taken care of very promptly and very efficiently. We have found Al Williamson and his colleagues to be extremely professional, very pleasant, very reasonable and very helpful! We would unqualifiedly recommend this company!

A. J. Williamson has been during my annual termite inspection for over 30 years. They are a top notch business. They call to remind you each year to have the inspection done. They are very flexible in making a time that is convenient for you. They show up right on the schedule time. They are very honest when recommending additional treatment services that might be needed. Over 30 years ago, they did work to correct termite infestation in the home I purchased. Since then I've used them every year to do the inspection. They always contact me and schedule the date of service, have always been professional and flexible. The cost originally was $75 but for the last about 10 years has been $90.

He was very honest and upfront with the service. He was thorough, very experienced and a very nice guy. I enjoyed the fact that he is a small family-owned business. I highly recommend him and would use him again.

They were fine. They showed up on time, and gave us some tips. We plan on using them again this summer. The overall experience was excellent. I don't have anything negative to say. They were responsive, and followed up with us.

My regular inspector scared me about termites, but AJ clarified and put it into perspective regarding the long life of the building and the NON-presence of termites at this time. He was also able to put into perspective several other issues the regular home inspector had named, but not prioritized for me. Overall, this provider gave me a much clearer sense of the situation - and at a price that was remarkably lower than other providers.

He comes annually to follow up and check and be sure that he doesn’t find any reoccurrence. I pay him $90 for that service and it was $75 and $50 before that. His prices are still less than anybody else on the renewal, but not always on the estimate. I have had him out to give me estimates on other people’s houses because I am a real estate agent and he hasn’t always beaten the other estimates. His renewal fee is less than anybody else I know of. From everything I know he does quality work and I have not had a reoccurrence. I brought him in to give an estimate on a house in Lexington and he said he had something like he had 17 people on that street who were clients of his. I would say that he has been around for maybe 30 or 40 years. His son is going to be taking over his business and I would say that if he did lousy work, he wouldn’t be around for so long. In one case he came in higher than another pest control company and in the other case he came in lower. Although I think I could have got him to match the other company price, I just let it be in that particular thing. Sometimes you do certain things and sometimes you don’t, but anyway he is a good guy. It is a one man’s shop and his wife answers the phone and makes the appointment and he has trained his son and certified him. He handles my house, so I see him annually.

We've used them for years. We completely trust them and they are a small business. They always seem to know what they are doing and they give us good advice. They follow up and come back if we have a problem and retreats without charging you.
