He was very professional and knowledgeable. I can't imagine a more thorough and anal (in a very good way when you are buying a house) home inspector.

As a PHD student in medical science, I know nothing about home construction. But I do have the skills of hunting for a good home inspector. I looked up the web page of all the ASHI certified inspectors in Worcester area and look at their inspection report. The report done by Paul from Harmony Home Inspection definitely stands out. I will say that nobody s report is half as good as Paul s report. But you get what you pay for. Paul charges more than other inspectors. Initially, I was a bit reluctant to employ Paul as I don t have that much money. Then, I decided that if am spending so much money to buy a house, why not get a better inspector and get a better report. I am so glad that I make that choice. Not only was Paul very careful in the inspection, he is not afraid to piss off the seller about all the problems that the house have. The seller reluctantly agreed to fix most of the problems that Paul pointed out and I feel very safe to live in that house.

Very helpful in planning, giving me detailed information about the process and what I should expect. We determined, with his assistance that due to time requirements, we could run the radon inspection ourselves. But he gave us loads of info so that we could do it correctly. On the day, he arrived on time, and was there for about 6 hours. My husband accompanied him the whole time, and felt that he was more than thorough. Our report was lengthy and informative. We were happy with him and his process. Nice guy as well. We would hire him again for both price and service. His price was in the middle of the pack that I got verbal estimates from, and he realized that he overquoted me on the phone, so when I arrived with check, he gave me a much reduced price. Report took about a day to receive by email, which was fine.

I've used him before and would use him again, as well as recommend him to others. He's very thorough in his work, takes photographs, and gives a detailed inspection report.

Excellent! Paul spent 4-5 hours going over the house top to bottom. He took a series photographs and incorporated them into his report which was emailed the following day. Money well spent!

PAUL WAS VERY HELPFUL ON THE PHONE AND VERY PROMPT IN RETURNING CALLS. HE AGREED, AT NO EXTRA CHARGE, TO SET THE RADON TEST UP A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE INSPECTION SO THAT WE COULD HAVE IT SENT OFF MORE QUICKLY. PAUL WAS EXTREMELY THOROUGH. I ASKED HIM IN ADVANCE ABOUT SOME CONCERNS I HAD, AND HE WARNED ME THAT THE INSPECTION WOULD PROBABLY TAKE 5 HOURS. IT TOOK 6 AND WAS WELL WORTH IT. PAUL WENT OVER EVERY DETAIL WITH US AND TOOK OVER 70 PHOTOS OF VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE HOUSE - CRACKED SOFFITS, OVERGROWN TREES, ELECTRICAL ISSUES, ETC. WE FIND THAT USEFUL BOTH FOR NEGOTIATING WITH THE SELLERS AND FOR OUR OWN RECOLLECTION. WE HAD THE INSPECTION ON SATURDAY AND HE EMAILED US THE REPORT ON MONDAY. HE DID NOT PROVIDE US WITH COST ESTIMATES FOR WORK TO BE DONE, BUT SUGGESTED THAT WE HAVE SPECIALIZED CONTRACTORS COME GIVE ESTIMATES. PAUL CAN BE A BIT GRUFF, BUT HE'S VERY PROFESSIONAL. OUR EXPERIENCE WAS VERY POSITIVE, AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND PAUL, ESPECIALLY FOR OLDER HOMES.
