Description of Work: Advanced Mechanical installed a new boiler. It went very well. Their price was competitive and it was completed in two days. We did not have heat for one night during the replacement and it was a cold day but they provided space heaters for us. They also filled out the rebate form for us and sent it in and we received our $500 rebate promptly. I would recommend Advanced Mechanical for boiler replacement.

Description of Work: I had used Advanced Mechanical when we were in a different location for many years and always had a fantastic experience. I recently purchased a house and contacted them again for service to a complex hvac system, to install a booster for the water and to install a new heater / air conditioner for a separate work room. The service was exceptional and everything is now working smoothly. I couldn't recommend this company more strongly!

Description of Work: Everyone at AMS is professional and friendly. The tech who installed our new furnace was so apologetic when the electronic board that runs the furnace fried and we had to wait a day without heat for them to find another. But they were out the very next morning to replace it. |We did end up having to eat the cost of a conversion burner. Our old one could not be repaired, and when the new one was installed, it was apparent that the entire furnace needed to be replaced, as the system was starting to leak carbon monoxide. But they didn't charge us anything for labor for the hours they spent replacing the conversion burner, just for the burner itself. So we have a new, energy efficient furnace that is much quieter than our old system - we went for the top of the line furnace. We'll get a $300 rebate from the state.

Description of Work: AMS installed a new Misubishi Ductless Air Conditioning unit in our living room area. Installation went quickly on the date it was promised. The installers left the room spotless with a working system. They took the time to explain the operations of the system to my wife and me.

Description of Work: Worked with them when trying to get a new furnace and/or heat pump. The owner came to the house and was very informative. However, the follow-up was poor. First contract came in, not written by or viewed by the owner, and it was not accurate at all. | |Another contract might have come in - but it was clear I was to deal with the staff, who couldn't answer my questions, instead of the owner. | |Though I made my preference clear and I wanted to pursue the purchase, there was silence from the company. This is too bad, as I've felt very confident in the check-up care, on my existing furnace, from a super-efficient female technician. | |Since I'm working with a different company now, I regret the loss of this young woman.

Description of Work: I had a problem with the oil burner in the house I was renting, and called AMS to set up a service call. Two surprising things occurred. First, they offered to come over that afternoon. Second, they went through some trouble shooting with me on the phone and solved the problem. They got no revenue, but they sure served me well. I'll certainly use them again...
