Everything went fine so I will give them a “B”, it’s no big deal but only because they left a couple of tools behind which I’m not sure why. They finished the job fine but they left some tools behind. Their price was fair.

A week ago I had Doug Zeolla come and take a look at some pipes in the basement and we discussed replacing 2 pipes because one was leaking and one was corroded at the valve to the water heater. On Saturday Derick came and replaced both these pipes in an hour. In both times i met with them they were on time, followed up quickly to my inquiries, friendly and explained everything to me. I intend on using them as my plumber anytime I have a problem or need work done.

I called Zeolla Plumbing & Heating on Wednesday and left a message. 5 minutes later Doug Zeolla called me back. I explained the problem and sent him photos of the issue. He gave me a quote and was able to tell me what to expect. He was clear and concise. Doug told me that he could schedule me in on Saturday morning. Three days later Doug arrived on time and made every effort to explain what he was doing along the way. He finished the job on time and made sure the furnace was running properly before he left. He kept his work area clean and honored his quote right down to the penny. As a police officer I have filed police reports for people who have had bad experiences with a hired contractor or tradesman so that was why I decided to try Angies List when it came time to hire a plumber. I was not disappointed. Doug was professional and put my mind at ease regarding the condition of my heating system. If you are looking for a trustworthy and reasonably priced plumber to hire then Zeolla Plumbing and Heating should be it. I plan on hiring Doug again for future plumbing projects for my fixer-upper home.

The work involved two visits. The first was with Doug Zeolla, the owner; the second was with his son Derek. Both arrived within the time window they had confirmed the day before. They know their business and did their work quickly and efficiently. They gave me loads of information about plumbing issues and answered my long list of questions patiently and helpfully. Prices were disclosed in advance, and they seemed reasonable, probably lower than some other vendors. I plan to use them again for future projects and when needed. I want to add that Zeolla is exactly the type of business I look for and want to encourage. This is a family business, and these two men take pride in their work and in their dealings with customers. Both Doug and Derek were clearly knowledgable, professional, and unfailingly polite and patient. Given the choice, I always prefer to work with a small organization that can put a personal touch on its work and its relationship with customers. I want to be able to trust a business, know that they will listen to my requests, tell me honestly what the options are, and guide me with their own professional expertise. Doug and Derek explained in simple, non-technical language what my repair options were; I never felt they were trying to sell my something I didn't need. Before deciding on them, I checked out their Angie's List reviews, which were consistently very positive. I'm glad to have found these guys and can recommend them highly.

Doug and his sons did a great job installing both a tankless hot water heater and a water filtration system. He was on time, responsive, and we are happy with the job they did. We would definitely hire him again. He was reasonable in price, and trustworthy.

Although we were out of the service area, they made the effort to honor the deal, and also come very quickly to fix our problem.

I couldn't ask for a faster response! They came quickly, they diagnosed 2 problems, repaired them and then gave me a break in the price since they felt badly that we had 2 separate problems. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Emergency situation.Hot water pouring out of water heater. Could not turn off. Found Zeolla Plumbing on Angie's list. Called (it was before 8:00am). Someone came over within 15 mins. Had old water heater taken away and new one installed by 10:30 am. They helped with the clean-up. Very professional.

Being a first time homeowner in this area, I called around to several plumbers to get advice on what to do with a leaky shower control that I first attempted to fix utilizing Youtube videos and such- but got stuck when I couldn't get the handle off. I believe it was Derek that let me know that instead of buying component parts, it would be cheaper overall to buy a whole new unit. In any case, I bought the whole new replacement unit as recommended (it was actually cheaper than buying the parts) and called them to schedule an appointment. They got back to me in no time and were flexible enough to schedule for first thing on a Saturday morning (this i crucial to me as I mostly work 50-60 hours M-F and can't be home during that time). Doug came to do the repair and he was friendly, courteous and competent. He installed the unit, we went through some test runs and all was well. Experience could not have been any better. He even took off his shoes when first requested to do so (some other contractors from different companies actually complain about that). He even helped afterwards to check if a pipe had been leaking behind a wall close to another bathtub (luckily not). Cleaned up nicely as well. I plan on continuing to use Zeolla in the future and they certainly earned my business.

They had to make 2 trips, the first trip was to diagnose the problem and they arrived within the time that they had scheduled. The second trip was to install the sewage pump. They had an emergency situation the day of the appointment and needed to reschedule, but they did communicate with me prior to the appointment time and made sure that we rescheduled for another date and time that was convenient for me. When they returned the second time, they arrived on time, was very professional and made sure that they cleanup any mess that they might have made and even took off their shoes, so that they would not track any dirt or water through the house. Which I thought was very considerate of them.

I was extremely pleased with the service. Zeolla Plumbing came to my house for service one day after I made contact with Angies List. Very prompt! I love the fact that this is a family owned business. Doug, one of the sons, arrived exactly on time. He did a great job of listening carefully to me as I described the problem with my disposal. He fixed the problem quickly and explained, in detail, what caused the problem. What impressed me most of all was how polite and respectful Doug was. I would use their services again, in a heartbeat!

They walked me through all the details of the job, courteously answering all my questions. Before wrapping up, they provided me with some advice about my water pipes in preparation for the upcoming winter. I am extremely satisfied with the job and look forward to working with them in the future.

Work was done effectively and efficiently. Doug walked me through everything he was doing and explained what needed to be done. He returned my initial call in a matter of minutes and showed up on time. Great job, great work.

Did a great job. Installed the disposal, cleaned up all debris and took the old disposal away. Did work within the time allowed for the deal and also made recommendations for possible future work that might be needed with prices.

Doug and his sons did an excellent job. They were timely and efficient. I thought the cost was reasonable for the work performed and would not hesitate to call them again for future plumbing work.

We bought the Angie's List Big Deal for the outdoor hose faucet replacement. Doug and his associate arrived on time and were courteous. They instructed me on how to drain the pipe for the winter. Our outdoor faucet connection runs from the finished part of our basement through a crawl space to the outside wall. The crawl space provided a challenge and new piping had to be snaked through to accommodate the new faucet head that was being installed. As the Doug was leaving, he let me know that they had to cut a hole in the dry wall in the basement where the piping entered the crawl space. I was surprised by this because they didn't mention it or ask if that was okay while they were working - they were mainly working in the basement while I was in the living room with my infant. I asked that he show me before he left. They cut a 5" x 3" hole in the dry wall which is in a visible area in our finished basement. I understand that they had to do that to gain access, but it would have been more professional for them to ask or let me know before actually cutting into the wall.

.My house was built in 1915 and the original plumbing was corroding to the point of a disaster waiting to happen. The guys were here for only 3 days to totally replace all new pipes from the basement to the second floor.No doing the job partially and leaving you hanging for a few days while they work on another job. They show you the problem, show you the parts and spell everything out clearly as to what needs to be done and how many days or hours it will take and cost. The guys work steadily from the time they arrive to the time they leave for the day! They are well acquainted with old houses!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FAMILY BUSINESS to even those in the Cambridge area, and join the many others who have left them an "A" rating!!! Prices are very reasonable. If you need a GOOD plumber..don't hesitate to call Doug Zeolla and his Sons. The BEST !

Purchased the deal as I needed a sink drain looked at. Doug sent me an email with a contact number with in an hour of me purchasing the deal. I called on Friday and he came out on Saturday, even though it was not an emergency. He was prompt and communicated his arrival time as well. He fixed the drain and also took a look at a number of other plumbing issues I had questions about. He took his time and explained everything and found my well hidden shut off valve for the whole house. Being a fairly new home owner I am very concerned about getting a fair and knowledgeable professional to look at the issue that come up. Doug went above and beyond. The sink drains better now then it did before. Doug was very courteous and left the area that he worked on very clean. Definitely would hire again.

They were right on time, very efficient, extremely friendly. Explained everything to me and didn't gouge me when it was a very real possibility. They actually gave me a break on an extra repair that had to be made.

They emailed us a few times very promptly. However, they do not service area so we are unable to use this Big Deal.

I frantically searched Angies list this evening at 6pm when I realized I desperately needed a plumber - ASAP. I'd never hired a plumber before and was very concerned that it was after hours but Doug, the owner answered and he was so kind and responsive, I knew I had made the right choice. When he found out I was pregnant with a baby and a toddler, he told me he was going to call his son right away and see if he was available. Not 5 min later I got a call back saying his son was on his way. Amazing. Derrick was at my door in under 20 min and very friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The price they quoted me was far, far below what I feared and he went to work right away. He fixed my disaster in no time flat and was out the door. Just like that. He didn't *warn* me that I needed all sorts of other things done, , he just fixed what was wrong and (poof!) was gone. And in plenty of time for tubs for my 2 little boys :) I highly recommend Zeolla Plumbing. I will absolutely be calling them again for all of my plumbing and heating needs! Thank you again, Doug & Derrick! Sanity has been restored in my household.
