Doug did a great job, top notch. The new garbage disposal is working great, and he had to tweak the wiring on the switch to get it started. With respect to the leaky faucet it seems that the unit is shot and I need to replace it - he got the leak to slow a little, but will come back to install the new one once I pick it up. My biggest worry was the leaking bathroom on the second floor - he noticed caulking had come out of certain spots in the shower, and the steam unit was looking a little iffy. He recaulked the troublesome spots and uninstalled the steam unit. So far it seems that these fixes have stopped the leaks. Doug was professional, responsive, and on-time. I have an old house with several issues going on at once, and he was entirely accommodating and did a great job.

Initially the sons had installed it and it may have been their first time so I took pictures and sent it to Doug and he immediately called me and set up a time to come look at it. After seeing it himself he said he was going to do it over because he didn't like the way it came out. He came back a few days later and did it over and everything looks great. The problem was not the plumbing but rather the way the lid wouldn't go on because the basin was out of round from back filling and the cement

The service was very prompt and very responsive. Fixed everything that needed fixing and gave recommendations elsewhere. I would definitely recommend and use again in the future. Thanks again for the help.

They were fine. There was no extra charge. He showed when he said he wil show up and did what he said he will do. He cleaned up after himself and did a good job.

Very well. A brief glitch when they originally came and couldn't find parking. I had asked to be called and if they had done so it would have solved the problem. However, I called and we were able to arrange for another time later in the day and it went very well. Friendly, competent, solved the problem. Would definitely use again.

I purchased a special offer from Angie's List for plumbing work at my three-family home in the Boston area. My call was answered right away, and the owner's two sons came to the house. They were extremely professional, performed the work and left. I thought,"Great. Now I've got a new plumbing company." I decided to move ahead with some other plumbing projects, and called the company back to replace toilets in my rental units and fix a shower valve. I purchased the toilets myself and had them there when the owner's sons came to do the work. Everything appeared to go well, but after they left, I noticed that one toilet was unstable. It rocked back and forth. At this point, I hadn't paid for the work yet. I was planning on sending a check the next day. I called them back the next morning, explained the problem, and asked if they could come back out to resolve this issue. This time, their father, Doug, Sr. came with them. They pulled the toilet and worked on it for awhile. When they left, they instructed me not to sit on the toilet for 48 hours. I waited four days. But, even after this amount of time, the toilet was still unstable. I contacted them again, explaining that I needed the issue to be resolved before January 1st because I was leaving for Florida for three months. At this point, Doug, Sr. told me that the problem was my floor, not the toilet installation, and that if they came back to fix the rocking, I would be charged more money. I hadn't paid for any of their work, yet, because, frankly, I was unsatisfied with their work. I had every intention of paying for the service, but not until I knew the problem had been fixed. I left for Florida, intending to table the entire project until I returned to Boston on April 1st. Last month I started receiving threatening texts from Doug, Sr. about not paying for the work that had been done at my house. These texts included the following: "In 25 years, I've never been *effed* and I'm not going to start with you.""If I don't get a check in one week, I'm putting a mechanic's lien on your property." (I had been very clear about my situation in regards to leaving for the winter and that the issue had to be resolved before i left, because i wasn't going to be there after Jan 1st.) After receiving his text threats I realized that I wanted nothing to do with a company that acts in this manner. I sent several texts back to Doug, Sr. explaining my thoughts and how I had come to hire Zeolla Company in the first place, through "Angie's list." I told him in the text that I had every intention of paying for the work, but after receiving his threatening texts I decided to just send the full amount and be done with it. I now have to hire another company to come in and fix the toilet that I paid Zeolla Plumbing to install. Doug, Sr., do yourself a favor and sell your sons the company. They're far more professional than you are.Threatening customers is not the way to attract or retain customers.

Everything went smooth. I emailed them today and they came right out TODAY! A little confusion on the pricing with trip charge but but that got all sorted out... Professional service that I would highly recommend to anyone. 100% satisfied.

Everything went very well. They gave me a time window and they were very punctual. They were clean and neat.

The company called and said they are out of our service area. They took the time to walk us through how to fix the leak in a toilet. This was kind of them to do since they didn't have to.

This was work that was done on my Mom's house. I was there for the estimate but could not be there for the actual work as I was only in town for 3 days to help get this done. My brother was there for the latter part of the day while the work was being done. The first thing that was very important to me was that I could count on these guys to respond if something went wrong for my Mom who is 88. On 3 separate occasions they were there at the drop of a hat to help with a problem. They were awesome. Also, I need to mention that there were some unforeseeable problems which they found a way to resolve. The job: They had to unclog all the drains in the house and replace all the fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom as well as the toilet. They had to do everything in 1 day. They brought a whole team and when there was an unexpected problem with the main drain they were able to find someone to work on it for us. Because of a lack of funds the work had been neglected for some time. I am very pleased with the work, their professionalism, and their "niceness". The "nice" factor is always important. My Mom says her house is now a palace :-).

It went very smoothly - all work was done quickly, and professionally, and within the time allowed for the coupon. I believe I owed an additional 10 dollars for parts. Very reasonable, fast, and polite service.

Doug came right on time the next morning, eyeballed the problem, went out to his truck for a few tools and got right down to work. The space he had to work in was extremely tight and he needed another specific tool, so he called and made plans to meet someone who could supply the tool(s) he needed. He returned in no time to complete the job.

I purchased the $119.00 Service call plus labor deal. I was informed that the provider had two days to respond. I was pleasantly surprised that he responded within two hours. Not only did he know how to do what he had to efficiently but he had a great attitude too! I wish I could give him higher grade than an A. Zeolla Plumbing will definitely be getting all of my business in the future.

Great service. Very communicative. Called to verify time and date. Asked if I wanted to provide the parts or buy them directly from them. Explained the difference in costs. Showed up on time... even a few minutes early. Completed job quickly and thoroughly. Cleaned up too. I will use them again.

Best case scenario for a leaking water heater! Doug made sure that we knew how to deal with the leak until the new heater was installed, and also showed us what to do if the leak got worse (which it did). He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and I will definitely be calling him for future plumbing services.

This has taken me a bit of time to express what I felt about this plumber. We arrived home to our house after two weeks and our heat had shut down and pipes frozen. We were so upset. Did not have a plumber and picked up our weekly town Money Saver booklet and called two plumbers. The first plumber gave us outrageous costs for a weekend and also said he did not know when he could get there. My husband is almost 90 with Parkinson's disease and heart disease and the situation was terrible. I called the second plumber who was Zeolla Plumbing and Heating and talked with a very nice man. After explaining the situation, he assured me that they would be there as soon as possible. They not only came, but were so courteous and good at what they do. Promptly had us up and running to get us through the day and headed back on Sunday to finish the job. They were so nice to my husband and explained every thing to us as they went along and did the repairs. The following is what has earned them an A rating. 1. They came when promised. 2. They did an outstanding job with the repairs. 3. They were extremely trustworthy in our home. 4. They were so patient and kind to our 8 little dogs! 5. They did the job and made sure that everything was to our liking before leaving the last time. 6. They were extremely fair to us with the price. 7. The plumber was so nice that he fixed a few things in our house that we needed. 8. Fantastic with seniors. Very patient with repeated questions and answers. I am sure that I missed a few things. We were blown away by the comfort he gave us in feeling that we were in good hands. We are going to have him come back in several weeks to put in new toilets. I cannot say enough. We now have a new plumber to call our own and will enjoy them for years. It's so nice to have someone you can trust and we deeply thank them for helping us with our emergency. ,

I bought the deal offered, $119 Plumbing Service Call and up to One Hour of Labor with a Free Home Plumbing Inspection. I scheduled for the following week. The tech was late on the day scheduled. I had to call to make sure they were coming. Fortunately I had taken the day off and had expected delays. When he arrived about an hour and a half later, he assessed what needed to be done and explained what he would do. He had to go get the part for the shower valve and that took about an hour. He came back and shimmed the toilet explaining that sometimes the floor is not level. Then he changed the shower valve. Success! We have hot water now! Then he proceeded to assess the repair to the water line on the ice maker. My kitchen is a galley kitchen. Once the refrigerator was pulled out, there was no way to get to the water line except to climb over the counter to the other side of the refrigerator. He asked me if it was ok to remove his shoes so he could climb over to the other side. I felt terrible he had to do that but that was the only way to access the water line. He added the connection line and as he continued he discovered there was another break in the line further down which would need additional time and parts to repair as it was behind the molding or under the floor. He didn't have the parts so he suggested scheduling another time to return to finish the job if I wanted. He capped off the line under the sink so that it could be hooked back up at some point and that I could once again have hot water in the sink. Overall a good experience even though the ice maker water line didn?t get repaired. At least I know what will be involved next time if I do decide to fix it. I also had other plumbing questions regarding my water heater and washing machine which are both on the 2nd floor. The tech answered with no problem explaining what was involved and informing me what I wanted to do would require much more work and cost to get to the result I wanted. The tech was knowledgeable and fixed my problems.

I spoke with MR. Zeolla on Friday, January 16th in the early afternoon. I explained the plumbing problem. He said that he would call me over the weekend to set up a time to come to my home during the following week. When I had not heard from him by late Monday, I called him and received a voice message which stated that he was away for the week, would return home on January 24tH, and to call one of his two sons if a plumbing problem could not wait. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE TO ME THAT HE DID NOT TELL ME ON FRIDAY THAT HE WOULD BE AWAY. WHY DID HE LIE ON FRIDAY? He is a total failure as a business person. Good for Baker-Elman plumbing because they now have my business.

There was nothing I dislike. They were polite, courteous and on time. They did the work super fast. They were neat and clean. They have a good guarantee on the product; if anything goes wrong they will cover the product. It was the two sons that came out, they were very professional, well dressed and well managed.

Doug is a master plumber and a wonderful person. His son, Derek, came by to complete the work after Doug assessed the job. Derek was great and was very efficient and clean. I highly recommend them.
