Description of Work: I signed up for Angie's List specifically because I needed a recommendation for a top notch wallpaper hanger. I was really excited to see the good reviews that were given to Scott. I called him the day I signed up for Angie's List. I received a call that afternoon from his assistant. That was a very pleasant surprise as I am not used to contractors calling back so promptly. She told me that Scott was not in, but would call me within a couple of days. I did not hear back, so I called Scott again three days later and left a message. Another several days passed and there was still no response. I waited a week and called again. There was not response. I called a fourth time. That was over three weeks ago. I have not heard anything. This has been a big disappointment. I hired someone else, who ended up doing a really bad job. Needless to say, I am frustrated and not happy. I hope Scott is okay (maybe there is an explanation), but am surprised that I never heard back. I am willing to have him give me a quote on redoing the work if he calls...

Description of Work: Wall paper and paint woodwork, ceiling, prep walls |The painting crew led by TJ is great. Started at 7:30am and worked full days, great job. |Scott et al, are very busy and started our job 4 days late and then didn't show up one day at all, said they had car trouble... |We had a very tight time frame because of a function we were having at our home on the 19th. They totally pulled through in the end, but it was a nerve wracking race to the finish. The original job was just to wall paper, but Scott pointed out that we should do the woodwork and ceiling- he was right. But wonder why he didn't mention it when he quoted the job originally. |I highly recommend using them, but make sure you have flexibility in your start and end dates.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced wallpaper in a hall and stairwell. Job was tidy and exact, even in a tricky tall staircase and around corners.

Description of Work: Scott did a phenomenal job at wallpapering our family room. He removed the old paper, put up the new and cleaned up hours before the end of the day. Great wallpaper hanger!

Description of Work: We had a den/playroom which was painted a dark red we wanted changed to a light green. Scott came and did a great job it took multiple coats of primer and paint and looked amazing when complete.

We were thrilled with the work and found him very easy to work with and pleasant to have around. Planning to use him for other projects in the near future.

Description of Work: Scott replaced wallpaper in a 1906 Arts and Crafts style dining room with paneling, windows, and fireplace. The room is not large--about 16x17.'

Description of Work: We had some old wallpaper taken down, new wallpaper put up and some painting done.

Description of Work: Removed wall paper from a very large living room and dining room, (he was the one who hung the wallpaper more than 10 years ago) patched all of the walls, we moved our dining room chandelier and the hole in the ceiling neede to be patched, our living room ceiling is divided by plaster beams that have molding around them and around the entire living room and dining room celings, he patched the walls and caulked the ceilings and woodwork.

Description of Work: I needed the wallpaper replaced in my dining room. I got Scott's name from another source. (She has terrific wallpapers and is really knowledgeable in helping pick out papers) I called Scott as soon as the paper arrived. He returned my call immediately and had a small window of time when he was able to fit me in immediately. The walls were very badly damaged and the previous wall-paperer had put paper backing on the wall to smoothen it. It did not look very good. Scott came and stripped the walls, then prepped them until they were completely smooth and then he papered. He did a really wonderful job. I can hardly believe they are the same walls. In addition, I had had the ceiling replaced the previous week and had not had time to have it painted so he arranged to have it painted immediately. The painter suggested that I should have the trim painted also which I did and it really looks like a new room.
