Scott and his crew did tremendous work. My 100-year old house's walls ended up being more troublesome than any of us could have anticipated, yet despite that significant additional work they finished within the predicted timeline of 2 weeks for all 6 rooms of: wallpaper removal, significant wall repairs, priming, painting all hard wood trims throughout as well as all of the ceilings, and then putting up all new wallpapers. As his crew proceeded from one room to the next (while encountering unanticipated problems)- they not only repaired the walls, but any of the little things they happened upon like broken door knobs, etc., as well! Scott's crew members TJ and his brother, were great and TJ is not only a super hard worker (which is hard to find these days!), but a polite, grateful and wonderful person. I am absolutely delighted with the results.... Well worth the money... I would definitely use Scott LaForge and his team again! THANK YOU SCOTT!

He is a careful, fast, and tidy worker. Seams were lined up perfectly. His communications were clear throughout. He was unavoidably late this morning, but texted and called to be sure we knew what was going on. Lovely guy. Excellent work and communication.

I could not have been happier with the service. Scott was very professional and responsive leading up the project and ended up doing a fantastic job. I would hire him again in a minute!

Scott Laforge, the owner of the company, did the work himself. He was early to arrive and all set up and ready to go. So nice. I had selected a double roll of an expensive Clarence House wall paper which turned out to be one paper length too sort to go corner to corner in the room. Scott suggested centering the paper on the wall and leaving a bit of the plain painted wall on each side. What a creative and fabulous idea. It opens up the space and makes the little room look longer and wider. The paper is the focal point on that wall and serves as large piece of art work...which it is! His workmanship is pristine. The seams and edges of the paper are flawless, the patterns perfectly matched. He is a master of his craft. We couldn't be happier with the finished product.

He came to look at the room to make an exact estimate. He looked at the state of the wallpaper and the previous repairs. He asked questions to understand exactly what we wanted painted and what we didn't. I was concerned that the people who had repaired the ceiling had left plaster on the floor. He said he would take care of that (and boy, did he!). He gave us a written estimate. When I was vague about the color, he requested we go look at paint samples and give him a number which we duly did. I both phoned him and messaged him through Angie's List messaging so he would have it in writing. He came on the day promised and called at the time promised when he was caught in traffic. He was only about 30 min late. He went right to work carrying in his tools and drop cloths, moved some of the furniture out and covered the rest. He took down the ceiling light's shade and removed a hanging lamp that was attached to the frame of one window. He worked removing the wallpaper and preparing the walls and ceiling, smoothing the plaster from previous repairs, priming the walls and painting the ceiling. He worked at least 8 hours not counting his break for lunch. He left for the day with a fan going in the room to help everything dry and also air out. He told us he would leave earlier the next day so he would be on time and he was. The second day, he worked steadily until we interrupted him about noon. I asked him to move his truck as I was having people come to take away a lot of stuff from our porch and basement, and also one of the bureaus he had moved out of the room. He put his truck further back from the front door so the other people's truck would be able to stand by the front door also. This was slightly less convenient for him, but he was very cooperative and never complained about my springing this on him with little warning and my being in the way to unload the bureau and the other people moving stuff. He continued to work as if I had not bothered him at all. When he was finished, he really finished the job; he cleaned his tools, cleaned the floor in the room and in the hallway. I could not tell he had washed paint brushes in the bathroom, so thoroughly did he clean up. He had to come and go to his truck through our living room and left no tracks or spills. He was careful to brief us not to try to close the doors or hang the pictures for a day or two until everything was absolutely completely dry. I cannot imagine a more professional job! We are delighted with the result.

My wife and I are expecting our first baby. We reside in a house built in the 70s which was built rather cheaply. The previous owner said that he glued the wallpaper directly to the board and could not be painted. I had Scott come up and wondering if we could fix it to good condition. He gave a fair estimate and the work was scheduled. It should also be noted that I work as a quality control analyst and am very critical and detail oriented on everything I do. It's more than a habit, it's my job. Scott was not able to start on the agreed day due to a personal matter which he clearly explained to me. He discussed it with me prior and since I was on vacation the whole week there was no issue. Scott came in and stripped the bathroom walls and fixed the imperfections in the wall itself. He also recommended Waltham wallpaper and paint which was an interesting experience but they did have exactly what we wanted. It was a flawless job on what were difficult walls. The baby's room was stripped and Marvin, one of Scott's workers, repaired the walls which took 3 days, then on the last day another person came in with Marvin who was a bit curt in our interactions. My wife and I had to leave that day, and when we came home his workers had left. We inspected the room and the walls were really nice, but there were some finishing issues. There was some clumping in the corners, paint on the electrical socket plates and some issues where the paint met the molding. It was a friday and his guys probably wanted to get out. I don't know about the other guy but Marvin worked H****** those walls so I can't hold anything against him. Well I emailed Scott, and sent him the couple finishing items. Well wouldn't you know it? He dropped everything, came over himself and reworked it and finished it to the point where it didn't even look like the same room. It looked like a room from a different house. My wife and I, whom are both very critical, are overjoyed with the results. If you are still reading this, I would like to give my personal message to you. There were more than a few challenges to be overcome in this job and in my experience, every job has them. While I listed all of the challenges, the strongest reason why I HIGHLY recommend Scott Laforge is how he responded to those challenges. He walked into a very difficult job and I got an end result like you would see on HGTV and he was always nice, kind, courteous and highly skilled. He made sure my wife and I were always happy and informed at every step of the process. I am completely happy with my rooms and I will gladly hire Scott again for my next wall related project.

He did a good and careful job of hanging the wallpaper, and his assistant did a good job of cleaning up. In one room, however, a bulge remained in the wall. The most stressful part for me was that he didn't let me know his needs accurately, saying that he could do one room at a time. But when his assistant arrived, it became clear that he needed two rooms to operate in simultaneously. Therefore, I had to get outside help moving all of the small things in a short period of time. He broke one light fixture, which he could easily have moved beforehand. He didn't coordinate well with his assistant so that both would be present to move the big furniture without scratching the floor, as contracted. He did, however, finish in less time than he estimated.

One of the bathrooms was a very large pattern & the fixtures were all in place making it a little tricky. Scott did a great job, it looks beautiful. After that I had Scott return to remove paper and rehang wallpaper in my re-modeled master bath and my master bedroom. The prices for all three totaled somewhere around a $1000, above that figure, I just don't recall exactly. Scott was very professional and I am very pleased with the quality of his work.

Scott wallpapered a stairwell for us. The wallpaper had a fairly complicated pattern and the wall ran over two floors in places. Scott did an outstanding job in laying everything out and hanging the paper without flaw. Scott knows how to wallpaper difficult corners and areas. He also painted a wall. He showed up when he said he would. I am impressed by the quality of his work. Scott is not cheap. He responds to e-mails but not immediately. Sometimes we had to wait a day or two before we heard from him. However, he was always in touch and responsive. I would hire Scott again.

Scott was incredibly friendly, professional and responsive. His crew went above and beyond what we had expected and we were extremely pleased with the end result.

They scheduled the days, came on time and early in the morning, worked hard and did a fabulous job. I would definitely use them again.

Scott and his team are the best when it comes to installing wall paper. They are a little more expensive than the other quotes we got but like they say "you get what you pay for". I would highly recommend Scott and his team, they are A++.

They were fantastic like my husband will accuse me of being in love with all of the painters. They were here early September to provide the service. They actually recommended that carpenter that I told you about it. I think the service is $13,000. Everything about them is an “A”.

It has made a huge differnce in our new construction the wallpaper looks fantastic. Scott is a real pro he showed up on time and was very neat. When looking at the walls the seams line up perfect and when I added the addition room and painting he was very accomidating.

We had bought an Angie's List Big Deal for wallpaper stripping that was a disaster! (another story!). We checked the wall paper store for a list of wallpaper hangers they knew. We cross-checked that list with Angie's List and found that SCOTT LAFORGE PAINTING & WALLPAPER HANGING Co. had excellent ratings and gave him a call. Scott was great! He was punctual, polite, professional (didn't refer to the job as "a coupon job"), with excellent prices. Hung the wall paper beautifully in an old home with its challenges. We will definitely call upon him when we are ready to replace the wallpaper in other parts of our home.

Had a cancellation and was able to fit my job in. Excellent communication/responsiveness. Did a great job with the wallpapering. Called to follow up and make sure I was happy with the work. Have distributed his card to others and will definitely use him again for future work. Very satisfied.

Best $400 ever spent. I was stupidly going to attempt this job myself but injury and surgery got in the way. Scott quickly returned my call and was able to finish the job the next day by showing up at & 7:30 am and doing repair & prep work then returning after proper drying time to hang wallpaper. Great job in a room where you have not much to do but look at the wall paper.

Scott arrived promptly the morning of this first day and every other day was at my home. Worked expertly and efficiently, cleaning up at the end of each and every day so as to cause the least amount of disturbance and disruption to the household. Was meticulous in the detail of his work and did an amazing quality job working with extremely old and distressed walls. I easily found a pattern and a good quality paper that I loved and Scott could work with. I would heartily work with him again.

SCOTT AND HIS CREW WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, NEAT, CLEAN AND ORGANIZED. THEY WERE AT MY HOUSE EVERYDAY UNTIL THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AND THERE WAS NO COMPLAINT WHEN I CHANGED MY MIND ON A SMALL DEVIATION.

He claimed to be a wallpaper specialist. He was good and his price was reasonable. He was professional, paid attention to detail, and he did a good job.
