PRECISION DOOR & WINDOW INC

My previous post I rated them as a D; however Anthony, Tony's son could not have been more professional and courteous to me and made things right - so I have reposted a review and rated them as a B. He ensured the guys came over and fixed everything, apologized and even took a couple of hundred dollars off for the inconvenience. This changes my previous post and would recommend Precision Door and Windows as they made it right. I would suggest asking for Anthony rather than dealing with Tony.

The install crew did an excellent job removing the old window and installing the new one. There was quite a bit of water damage from a leak in the old window and they complete reframed the window before installing the new one. The new window looks great, is very sturdy and survived the first rain storm without incident. The crew was experienced and cleaned up after themselves. We had a great experience with them and would absolutely recommend and/or use again.

I was very happy with the service I received from Precision Door & Window! All the windows in my house had lead paint that was chipping on the exterior window sills. I am pregnant and was afraid that even the slightest breeze would blow all the lead dust into the house and harm myself or my child, when born. I called about 20 window guys, siding guys, contractors, etc. to see if anyone would aluminum coil wrap the window sills so the lead wasn't exposed. A bunch of the companies came over and told me that it was too much work, it wasn't worth it, or they just didn't do that type of job. When I reached out to Precision Door & Window they were willing to come over that week. The workers said they had never done this type of job before, but were willing to do a sample to see if it was what I wanted. It was spot on! The workers actually thought they were doing something else with the windows before they arrived (probably because I did not explain it well), but were very flexible in listening to what I wanted. I really appreciate their willingness to take on a job they had never done and they did it well! My window sills look brand new! The whole job took less than the quoted time and was at a very competitive price ($100/window).

Went well. He arrived early.. Presented professionally. Spoke to me in laymnan's terms and made me want to give him my business.

I regret that my first review on Angie's List has to be negative, especially since it didn't have to be. A little follow-up on their part would likely have turned this into a very different review. PROS- Came to my home within a couple of days of my initial call. Quickly measured and wrote a fairly-priced quote. When asked about some of the windows' specifications (R value, sound STC ratings, etc.) he suggested I stop by the showroom for that info. CONS- When I went to the showroom, they could not immediately provide the specs I requested. However, they helpfully placed a call to the manufacturer who said they would email the specs next business day. I left my email and other contact info with the office manager who said she would forward the information to me when she got it. Sadly, that never happened, and I never heard from them again. No email, no phone call. Nothing. I was surprised that I didn't even get a follow up sales call, since I was given a written estimate and assumed that, at least, they would want to call me back in an attempt to close the deal. My in-home experience from Tony when receiving the quote was great, and the woman at the showroom was terrific. But after that they just completely dropped the ball. When asked above if I would use this provider in the future, I had to choose "no" since there was no option for "maybe." Strange experience.

Everything went just fine. Call taker was courteous and professional and the serviceman provided three options for repair. The job was done quickly, and professionally and the door is working better than ever.

Very responsive and professional. I sent them an email saying I needed a quote to replace a leaking bay window. I received a call within a few hours and Tony came out to look at my window the next day. He took all the measurements and gave me quotes for both a bay window and a flat window. He called that morning and said he was running early and would it be ok to come at that time which was great for me as I had to leave for work. The estimates he gave were very competitive and he was very professional. We have not yet hired anyone to fix the window as we are still trying to decide between another bay window or 3 flat windows.

Immediately when I called I got a person to speak with instead of a voicemail - that was a great first impression. They were very responsive with my request and came out to the house the next morning. We have not chosen the final vendor to go with yet but most likely will choose them because of their response time and professionalism. I will update this review after we have the work done.

I was very satisfied with the window and the service. I actually originally wanted better quality, more expensive windows, but they talked me out of that because the higher quality windows wouldn't pay for themselves as quickly as the other ones did. Two years after the job we found that one of the windows in the boiler room was missing a screen, and even thought the windows were well past the warrenty, they sent out a new screen for free. They worked very quickly and did a great job! The windows are only two years old and they are doing great!

Precision Door and Window did an amazing job replacing the windows in the home. The home was over 40 years old and one of the windows they had to replace was a large bow window. The installers were on time and very professional. The installers cleaned up the yard including the bushes after the job was completed. The owner (Tony) also came by the home to make sure we were satisfied with the work that was done. We spoke directly to Tony to get the estimate and confirm the work. He came over within 24 hours to give us a quote based on our availability. He was quick to return my phone calls with additional questions and was extremely patient with changes I wanted to make to the windows. Tony was on time for the initial estimates and the installers were also on time as promised. The entire company was professional when dealing with them. I had searched other large window companies before deciding to go with Precision Door and Window. Precision’s quote was fair, reasonable and I am extremely satisfied with the work that was done. I highly recommend them to others.

The windows in this home were the original windows and over 40 years old. The installers were able to remove the windows without disrupting the inside of the home. In addition to the windows I also had them replace the front and back doors. They had all the right materials and parts on the truck and completed the job in 1 day. Since this was the second job, I requested the same installers and they were again on time and very professional. Tony sent me the estimates same day we spoke about what I wanted and the installers were also on time as promised. The job was completed as promised. The entire company was professional when dealing with them. This was the second job I did with Precision. The entire home has a new look with the new windows and doors. The neighbors are amazed at how the home transformed with a more modern look. Precision’s quote was again fair and reasonable and I am extremely satisfied with the work that was done and highly recommend them to others.

They were a reasonably priced alternative to some other companies however I would give anything to get rid of these windows. The doors were satisfactory but the windows have never fit properly. When we asked about the lifetime warranty we were sent a worker and he re measured and replaced a couple of the windows. Then we had more difficulties and we were sent parts to install ourselves to try to fix the problem. Have no idea how to do that so the problem remains. I can’t open and shut some of the windows without using great effort and because they are not fitting properly they do not lock properly. When trying to clean the windows they fall out of their setting and it is very difficult to get them back in. If I ever get enough money I am replacing them with a better product.

I have worked with them a few times in 2002-2003 and 2005. I would use them again in the future!

Precision does an excellent job of communicating from pricing to delivery to installation. The two experiences have been very positive and I would use them again to replace other windows. Tony the owner is also a resident of the town and he stands behind his product and his service

The work was great and they are very nice!

I personally do not have the windows in my home but the people who use the windows really like them, and they are very good windows because they don’t fog up and it’s still been 5 years. The people were pleasant to work with and the quality of windows is great also!

They did an excellent job. They took their vacuum cleaner and vacuumed up a rug that I had. The windows are working out nicely.

The service turned out well. I am using them in a couple of weeks for the installation of another window. I was very happy with them. They did a bang up job and I did not have to clean up anything.

They do a fine job! They were prompt and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves when they were done.

They did a good job and I would recommend them. They were quick to respond to my request as they came out the next day.

The service was excellent. They custom make their windows and they are of high quality.

The quality of the window was terrible, and they kept falling apart as far as the security lock and the frames. We would not use them again. We had a lot of trouble with the company. They came back and replaced all of our windows and they were just as bad.

It went very well! They did great work!

They didn’t do an install but we had no complaints and no problems! Each window cost $159.00.

They ordered a new window because of a broken vacuum seal and they replaced it no problem. They did a fine job and I would recommend them!
