Mario's Roofing Siding & Windows

The quality and workmanship of the finished job is excellent. I love the way the gutters work and look. It helped solve the drainage issue on that side of the house. Now my basement is dry. It took a little time to get the job scheduled. But, it was a good price and good quality. That's most important to me. Sadly, I have a limited budget and this was a great way to go. I think I'll be happy with this job for a long time into the future.

All went well, except for the first person who was supposed to do the job bagged out, wouldn't do the job after coming to my condo to measure and left my condo without even measuring. They had to find someone else to come out to measure who would do the job. The other folks were great. A+

I had such a phenomenal experience with this company when they did our windows, that we wanted to stick with them for the roof. The estimate seemed fair, though we didn't have many others, cause we pretty much knew we wanted to stick with them. Unfortunately, for this project, it didn't go quite as well. The biggest issue was that the clean-up was pretty weak. I mean, I'm impressed that they came out in the middle of winter, but the days are short and they didn't start until nearly an hour after they'd been scheduled to arrive. So by the time they were done it was quite dark. So now it feels like we'll be digging bits of shingle out of the yard for the rest of our lives. Also there were dozens and dozens of nails left dropped all over the place, including about 20 or 30 of them in the driveway. While we managed to avoid any flat tires, I'm pretty nervous about going in the yard without shoes still. The other thing that was not ideal, was that in replacing the flashings, they did a fair amount of damage to the siding that it needed to go under. It was in poor condition, but I would have hoped that as a company that also does siding, they might have offered to replace or repair it rather than just ignoring it as if nothing was wrong. It's in a pretty inconspicuous spot as viewed from the ground, but it's right outside our bedroom window. Finally, there were a few quirks and specifics that we had talked to the person who gave us the estimate about like removing a section of gutter where it wasn't needed, for example. He didn't seem to have any contact with the guys who were actually doing the work. Needless to say, the message didn't get passed along. That was by far the smallest issue for us, and if the cleanup had been more thorough, I probably wouldn't even bother to mention it.

It didn't get done. Can't comment on quality, but professionalism doesn't appear to be up to par.

They put a big deal on and I bought it. I got an automatic response back saying, "We'll be in touch with you within a couple of days." I never heard anything. I called several times. I called four or five times to the office and kept being told, "Oh so and so will call you back," "Oh he will call you back today." I never heard anything. At one point, somehow I got a response from, I think, the owner or the manager. He said, "Oh I'm so sorry. This is my cellphone. Call me." I called a couple of times and couldn't get through. I actually did get him once. He probably picked it up by mistake. He said, "I'm going to call some X, Y, Z person in the office and have him call you right away this afternoon." I never heard from that. I sent e-mails. Finally, I was dealing with one of the customer service people at Angie's List and she finally said, "I'm going to put through a refund for you." It was over two months at that point.

It took Mario's Roofing one day to install a new roof on my house crew did a great job cleaning up after themselves even know they had to add plywood to the roof they did great in timely manner I would highly recommend Mario's Roofing

They didn't charge any more. They tried to. I had a hell of a time with them only doing what the deal said. They didn't talk to each other. They say they're going to show up and do the job. That's a lie. They show up and they drop off the stuff and then they take off. They come back a week or two later to finish the job. The stuff they dropped off was a heck of a lot more than what the deal was. It was for 50 feet of gutter. They wanted to replace all the gutters in my house. I said I didn't want that. I just wanted the front and the back, the 50 feet, like I contracted for. They finally did it, but, after telling the guy, "The only way the other gutters are going up is if it's free." That got his attention and he decided not to put the gutter up. So, I got my 50 feet. They left a mess and it took a long time. I had to call them four or five times to get them to come out. They didn't know what the deal was. They didn't communicate. The office and the people that do the work didn't communicate. The quality was good, except the gutter leaks a little bit. So, something went wrong there.

Workmanship by roofers very shoddy. Roofed area in the dark which were incomplete and horrendous. I will provide additional info later after I contact the company to correct all the issue.

This was a $249 big deal purchase. It went well and was a good experience. They could have been more timely. The workers were good.

Fantastic from beginning to end. The estimate was fair given the others that we got. The windows themselves are made in Mass, which was really important to us. They showed up, did the work swiftly, cleaned up after themselves extremely well. The windows look absolutely great. All in all I could hardly be happier. The only slight negative I had (and this is really super minor) is that Tim, the guy who seemed to be our project manager of sorts (he gave us the estimate, and was in charge of obtaining the payments) was really eager to pick the checks up in person. He was extremely flexible about when he could come by, but we work extremely long hours and often travel on the weekends. Ultimately I convinced him to let me put the check in the mailbox for him to pick up, but he'd have gotten the checks much sooner if he was more comfortable with my mailing them (or doing a direct bank payment). I wasn't sure what was going on with that.

It went perfectly! They showed yup exactly on time, and got right to work and began stripping my roof. I have a ranch and it took about an hour an half and all the shingles were down, then they blew the roof and pulled out all the nails and blew it again. Then they began to lay the black water repellent and 6 feet of ice and water shield all the way around the perimeter of my house. They also covered all the nips and completely around the skylight. They were here all day putting down shingles. I had a flat spot on the top of my house for years let water sit up there or snow and that is what began to leak. Chris the foreman of this job came up with an idea instead of a cricket to build a small housing around it and to raise it about 12". I agreed and they covered it with Ice & Water Shield, Lead, and Cement and a sheet of Rubber and then PVC and this now will never leak They took my awnings down, covered my gutters with Gutter Guard. Attached my downspouts better than were. They did an awesome job and well worth every penny. They blew my driveway and yard, picked up all the nails and debris. They have this Magnet on wheels and it works great! If your looking for a quality company that shows up when they say, does what they say, then give them a call and ask for Tim or Chris

Difficulty scheduling appointment in September until Jean called to notify me of delay of service.She reported that I would be contacted at the end of October.Steve called 10/29 and came right out to the house to review the job and measure.Gutters were delivered 10/30 and the crew arrived 10/31 to install. Extremely professional,excellent workers who consulted us as fascia board needed to be replaced due to rot.Informed us when the job was finished to inspect .Very happy with the gutters and will certainly recommend Mario's to friends.

A two person crew showed up on time and finished in about 2 hours. gutters replaced when those sections had ice dams.past winter They was very easy to work with, and flexible. I would highly recommend their product. Wnen they were done, everything was spotless, there was nothing to clean up. Very professional service and punctual.

On Feb 20, 2015, Mario's emailed me again asking what was going on. On Feb 21, I emailed back my tel #. I didn't hear back until June 25, when I rec'd another email that I would receive a call. Someone did call but the message was garbled. I should have tried calling again but did not do so until Aug 29 when I sent another e-mail. No response so on Sept 22, I sent another e-mail. .Then on Sept 25, I sent another e-mail. I called on Sept 25 (spoke with Jean). On Oct 2, I emailed again that I would request a refund from Angie's list because of not hearing from anyone. After this I did call Angie's List and was issued a refund. The Deal had expired in June of 2015. I have no problem that they didn't want to honor the deal after the expiration; I blame myself for that. Everyone was straight out after the terrible winter. However, I would have appreciated hearing from Mario's that the offer had expired so no deal. I was willing to pay for the work minus the $250 paid. I have since obtained another roofer who will be performing the needed roofing repair. On Oct 28, I rec'd call from Steve to say was sorry. He offered to send someone to make the repairs but I explained that I had hired someone else. Steve offered to return my money; I explained Angie's list had credited my credit card. I did appreciate the contact and offer to rectify the problem. I changed the overall rating of C to B based on this exchange.

the initial contact went well, purchased in july rep came on 8/3 went over job placed order said it would take 6 weeks job was completed on 10/16/2015 men who came to do the job were excellent. very professional job well done the door is really nice my only disappointment was in the time that passed before the job was done we had had some other work that we thought they might be able to do for us. a small roofing job of a shed dormer I called several times and the call was never returned Someone finally came by who didn't know about the slider job They said "tim" would be in touch to discuss. "tim" never called back so for that reason I'm not sure I would recommend or use them again.

Super Service Award? Did this guy have his family write the reviews? I wouldn't trust these guys to run a two-car funeral.

Terrible. Their word and commitment has zero value. Have still not completed the work signed up in August. Please refund our money or complete the job immediately, within a week. I have no need to spend any more time on this vendor.

I have called them several times to get the service scheduled. Angie's List has also called on my behalf. I still have not heard from the company. This is very disappointing.

These guys did amazing work. They started early, finished in the same day. They removed half of the house shingles and replaced secondary to ice damage. I would definitely use these guys again. Solid work, the best price around. Only down side was the wait but it was a busy season secondary to so many house damaged over the winter. Don't look anywhere else. Worth the wait.

Fantastic. Have been trying to get this issue addressed with two other roofing companies - one of them the original installer - since March. Contacted Mario's through Angie's List this morning and sent a picture of the repair needed. Received a return call very promptly and a company representative (Chris) showed up this afternoon. Couldn't have asked for more!
