Their personality was wonderful. Whatever they saw on the roof that needed to be fixed, they fixed, even if it wasn't their job. I had leaks all over my roof, and they repaired the leaky half. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They explained everything to me.

Job done well. Insulation helped keep the room cool and no more annoying noise from rain.

It looked like they had done a very good job. Then 2 weeks later it rained heavy, and the roof was leaking a fast drip around the 2 plastic pipes that rise from the furnace through the ceiling and through the roof. I called the salesman and he too was shocked that a brand new roof would leak. He sent someone out to repair the problem. But it didn't work, and the leak continued. After several more attempts to resolve the problem, the owner contacted me, went on the roof himself and determined that it might be the plastic pipes that were at fault -apparently one of the original workmen might have knocked into them. He replaced the pipes and this fixed the leak.

Our roof is pretty straight forward as the house is a Colonial. The overall size was about 24 square. We also wanted our gutters replaced, about 200+ linear feet. Every aspect of the job exceeded my expectations. Communication was excellent between all those I was in contact with. The crew reported to work early and was very courteous; they even helped carry the groceries in for my wife. Talk about service. The foremen continually kept us in the loop and answered all of my questions. There was no doubt in my mind that they knew exactly what they were doing. The roof and gutters took about 3 1/2 days to complete. A crew member even came on a holiday (after asking if it was ok with me) as they were worried about a potential for rain. Each day the crew the left the house looking great. No trash left over from their lunch, no unsightly piles of materials lying out in the front yard, just everything put a way. The roof and gutters came out wonderful and has completely changed the look of the house. A word of caution: they do use a magnet on the driveway as well as the lawn, but they do not get everything. One afternoon I asked to barrow the magnet to sweep my yard due to kids and pets. After about 45 minutes of sweeping I was amazed how many nails I found. Again I must stress, I did NOT find any in my driveway. Even after the project was completed Mario's Roofing reached out to us to see if we were satisfied; Of course it looks great! I would recommend Mario's Roofing to anyone in need of a new roof or gutters.

It went very well. The crew arrived when we were told they would. They were professional & friendly. The foreman was very accommodating & attentive to all of our questions & requests. We were very satisfied & wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mario's.

Efficient crew, well coordinated all steps of demolition, delivery of new materials and installation. My only negative note regards the support. It was a very hot and humid day. In weather like this you need to ensure your crew has plenty of fluids and snacks - guys were working 12 hour shift and finished all in one day.The VPs attended the site twice; empty handed though. I decided quickly to provide cooler with plenty of ice and plenty of drinks. Took me few minutes to convince them to accept it too - I guess managerial briefing instructs to avoid any fraternization with the client.

Great crew worked non stop for long days, even in the rain, to finish the project. Work crew were all polite, professional and responsive in answering my questions and meeting our needs. Daily clean up was excellent. They responded to some unexpected challenges of an old house with creativity and resourcefulness. Did not take shortcuts that would have saved them time but impacted over all quality. Even went out of their way to protect my flower beds that were in the way of the renovations! It took a little longer than I would have liked to receive all the information I needed to make a decision (price, choices, references, etc.), but as soon as I reached a decision the job was executed within my tight time line, and the overall, exceeded my expectations.

Very professional. The workers arrived around 8 a.m. and completed the job at 3:30 p.m. We had to do nothing - they took care of every aspect from protecting the areas around our house with covering. Upon completion they vacuumed and swept all areas around the house. Except for the beautiful new roof, there is no sign that anyone spent the day working. Our yard is very clean with no debris. I highly recommend this company and have hired them to install new windows.

It went very well. They stayed in contact with me. They were professional and I would recommend them to others. They were actually very conscientious and one thing that they included at that time was a free chimney cleaning and as a new homeowner, we did not have a fireplace so I did not think we needed our chimney cleaned for that boiler. We had the chimney guy come in and he saw that the whole flue was completely destroyed so the roofing guy actually saved our life. We would have had a lot of damage and in the wintertime carbon monoxide would have been a problem. They were very thorough and just explained everything in detail to us because as new homeowners, we really did not know what to expect so he explained it in terms that we could understand. The guys were great. They worked all day long and never really disturbed us. It was good. I have a friend who did some comparison shopping and they had the best price. I would use them again and I actually have been in touch with them regarding our verification from the shingle company and they were quick to respond and they followed up with me. We will definitely use them again.

We have 2 skylights in our kitchen. We had some leaks around one of them & thought it was the roof that we had replaced about 5 years ago but after trying to repair it we came to the conclusion that it was probably the skylight. We contacted several contractors on Angie's List. Only a few replied promptly to our request for an evaluation & estimate. Every contractor agreed that it was likely the old skylights. Mario's noted that the skylights come with a flashing kit & that if the roof had been since replaced (which it had) the other roofer may not have used the right flashing kit. Everyone's conclusion was that the skylights were at the end of their useful life. Marios responded immediately to my call. They promptly gave me a quote, which was pretty much the same as other quotes I got. The skylights came in quickly & they installed them quickly & professionally. They were very professional, clean and got the job done with little interruption. The skylights are in the kitchen so that was no small task. They responded faster than the other contractors. I wanted the job done quickly before it rained again & we had more leaks & they were able to do this for me. Overall it was a great experience - very easy to work with.

I know that a lot of contractors are trying to get the jobs in and done before the New England winter comes, and that my job, if I am moving forward, was not going to start until April of 2013. However to this date, I still have not receive a quote for the windows. I do like them, but if I do want to move forward with this process not sure how if I don't have a quote.

They came out an provided me with a verbal estimate for roof repair. The estimate was lower than I had expected. I asked detailed questions about architectural shingle type, etc. but did not really get an answer. In closing, I asked for a written estimate to be sent to me. I never received a written estimate or any follow up. In my opinion, they are not professional.

It was a small job, but they fit me in quickly. They stayed true to their estimate, even though they did a couple extra minor things for me. I say minor, but keeping out water in a few different places is not minor even if the fix is. They were extremely easy to deal with, friendly, did the work, and were reasonably priced. I would definitely hire them again.

I'm regrettably several months late with this review, but I had to write in about our awesome experience with Mario's Roofing and Siding. We had several estimates (5+) for roofing and siding, and Mario's offered the best price by far. After driving by and seeing some evidence of their work, we stopped and spoke with a past customer. He had nothing but great things to say about Steve, Joe, and company, so we decided to go with them for both big projects. The roof was done within days of me making the phone call. It looks outstanding. We also asked them to re-side our house with Cetainteed Vinyl Shingles. Initially, the job was supposed to start in three weeks. However, Steve got in there two weeks early with his crew. The professionals, Joe and his partner, were incredible. In about a week, they installed the new shingles and we could not be happier. Overall, I can't say enough good things about these guys. They are a pleasure to work with and offer outstanding quality and service. Hire them with confidence. You won't be disappointed.

Since there's no A+ Rating, we're limited to rating the experience "A." The work went just great. The job was done in two days start to finish. The job site was absolutely clean. Steve uses the highest quality materials and does a thorough and high quality job. When we had Steve give us an estimate, I forgot to ask about a ridge vent and Steve forgot to mention that he planned to do one. When I asked Steve after the contract was signed, I thought there would be an additional charge; there wasn't. The ridge vent was done. He even roofed our old shed that we didn't discuss and we're planning on replacing soon for no extra charge. Steve was always responsive and answered all our questions. He didn't ask for any payment until the job was complete. I would definitely use Steve and Mario's Roofing again.

Fantastic company to do business with. Cost was much lower than expected. Job was done exactly when they said it would be, exactly how they said it would be. All workers were professional and responsive. Easy to contact by phone. Not a penny paid until we said we were satisfied - and we do not have a single complaint. If you are looking for a roofing company, Mario's receives our highest recommendation

We submitted an inquiry for a roof/gutter work, in addition to calling, and never received a call back. Their service may be good, but their responsiveness to our inquiry was not.

Excellent. They were subcontracted through Guild Construction who gave me an excellent price about 30% lower than another large roofing company in the area. They came in within 2 days of accepting the estimate and worked hard and fast. The look and care on the detail is excellent. I did find a dozen nails stuck in between the boards of my back deck and the upper deck could have been swept off. Other than that, I could not be more pleased with my new roof.

I had Steve, the project manager come by and do an estimate. His estimate was the most reasonable of the three I received. The other two were 1 1/2 to 2 times the amount he was charging. We worked out a time schedule, they started on a Friday and finished on a Tuesday. There was rain that caused a washout day. The crew showed up at 7:30 each morning and worked through to at least 4pm. I was very pleased with the work ethic of the crew and the professionalism. If there were any questions they would come immediately to me and discuss them. Everything was done the way I had asked. They did a very thorough clean up and did not inconvenience me or my family at all. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.
