We are really pleased; Chris took care of the problems quickly and the roof now looks perfect.

My initial contact with the company was unusually bad, with a very pushy sales person, who said anything he could like a used car salesman. The manager Tim called me the next day after posting the review and changed my view of the company 180 degrees. Apparently the sales representative was brand new to Mario's, and came from a roofing company where common practice was aggressive sales techniques. He gave me a new quote, and was patient and honest throughout the process. He was apologetic and sincere and I believe him. Looking forward to having the roof fixed, at which point I will post an update.

I shopped around quite a bit and found roofing estimates to be all over the board. Mario's wasn't the lowest, but was very reasonable and they upgraded the shingle at no additional cost which clinched the deal. Dan estimated the job and supervised the work. He was very professional and went way above and beyond to make sure that we were pleased with the work. We signed the contract on 10/29/14. In the contract we stipulated that the work had to be done before 11/28 because we wanted to make sure that the shingles would be put down before the temperature dropped below 40 degrees. Unfortunately, due to constant rains and a record cold during November, it was not possible to do the job before the end of the year. In December, we left for the winter. Dan assured me that this was not a problem and when we returned, they would be ready to do the job. He called in April and let us know that he would put us on the schedule as soon as it was convenient for us. They started the job in May. They showed up on time. The work was excellent, and the cleanup was superb. No additional charges were required. On the second and final day of the job, my wife fell ill and was rushed to the hospital. Dan told me to take a week to let things calm down before meeting with him to do a walk-through and pay the balance of the bill. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a professional quality roofing job at a reasonable cost. Moreover, this company has demonstrated a customer-focused approach that is certainly above and beyond what most companies are willing to provide.

very smooth, did that in 1 day

The contractor and his crew where on time, and believe it or not, did the entire job in one day. He has a large crew and they put in a 12 hour day or more. When they left, the next morning we could really check things out. Except for one tiny peice of roof tile, one would never guess a roofing company had just done our roof. We are very pleased and would recommend Marios Roofing to everyone.

We suffered ice dam damage throughout our house, including to our roof, and it needed to be replaced immediately. I researched a number of contractors and based upon their other positive reviews, I contacted them for an estimate They were out to the house within 24 hours. Tim from Mario's was responsive and thorough and answered all of my questions. We got 3 other quotes, of which Mario's was near the bottom. Based upon my comfort level with Tim, his confidence that they would stick to their estimate, and the fact that they could complete our roof in one day (something not all contractors promised), we hired Marios. I asked them to do the job a week later (the following Friday), but when it looked like it was going to rain on Friday, they were able to honor my request and move us up to the day before. Tim promised his people would be there by 7:00 am. They showed up at 6:45 and waited in their vehicle until 7:00. What happened next was remarkable. Approximately 10 employees swarmed over the roof of our 2400 square foot house and stripped our roof, installed a new roof and did a great job cleaning up everything in about 10 hours. Everyone knew their job. They worked as a finally oiled machine and it was honestly something to watch. Tim came out during the work to speak with me and make sure that I was happy. Roof looks great, absolutely no leaks, and just as important, came in exactly on budget. I have recommended Mario's to my neighbors and will do so again without qualification. Just a great experience.

The tons of snow and icicles brought our gutters down, which in turn caused damage to the railing of the deck. One of Mario's guys came to take a look and said will send an estimate shortly. Three weeks and many reminding calls later, we still don't have an estimate. I understand roofing/gutter guys are busy this winter but it would have been better to get a response indicating they are maxed out and cannot get to our job, rather than leaving us hanging with no response. I will never call them again. Lost a client, sorry.

we decided to hire a window glazer because window was only cracked. Tim came out for an estimate even though he was very busy with roof shoveling jobs. will absolutely consider this company for future projects.

First call went great. They showed up to look at the job, had installer come to measure the job, ordered the windows. There was some rough weather that put the job on hold for a week or so - but that was the right call. It took 2 days and everything looks. Great.

We initially contacted Mario's Roofing because we were experiencing a leak in our guest bedroom wall. They came out and talked us into getting a new roof. They claimed the leak was coming from up above - this was fine, as we were likely going to be needing a new roof soon. However, they assured us that they would fix the bedroom wall as well (the whole point of hiring them) - basically they just cared about the roof. As soon as they were done with the roof it was next to impossible to get a hold of them and get them out to the house and repair the wall. It felt like they had our money and didn't care about us. They eventually came out (after several phone calls) and did a quick patch on the wall - it basically started leaking two or three days later ? we ended up hiring a local handyman to fix the wall. Felt like they were willing to promise anything to get us to sign onto a new roof - as soon as they had our cash they were basically done trying to help us ? very let down with the customer service. Would not recommend this service to anybody.

Purchased a roof inspection coupon off Angie's List and never got a response from the contract.

They came to my home and looked at the roof, quoted me a price, and then never called back to set up the appointment.

The job was completed on the same day, credit was professional and warranty was sent within 2 weeks of the job.

This was a little strange. I had been communicating by messages on this site. I then got a call letting me know that one of their people was coming by. I thought that it was to give a quote on the work. Instead, he started setting up for the job. After I asked him about the quote, he checked back with the office and gave me the quote (absolutely acceptable). I count this as nothing more than a missed communication. I worked with the crew to have them do the roof work while I took care of the electronics work. The antenna was properly installed, and I have a good feeling about the whole job. I would definitely use them again for roof work.

Tim from Mario's Roofing was quick to respond to my request for a quote. It took some time to get the job done, but I believe this was mostly due to weather constraints. Job was done professionally in one day. Crew arrived at 7am, began in earnest at 8am, and was done by 5pm, including complete cleanup of yard waste from repair.

He was punctual, professional and honest. Mario's suggested the roof had 3-5 years life (which I was aware of from my home inspection) so he gave his honest opinion of holding off on roof replacement and the additional sofits as the work would need to be re-done when I replace the roof.

Mario's was very willing to come and look at this very small job and to discuss how this repair might be made. Despite having other jobs going, Mario's ensured that the repair was made prior to the date of our first open house - on a rainy day no less. Their willingness to take on this small job and meet our time requirements was very much appreciated.

I told Jeff that this is an investment property - I want the siding to be replaced but not with anything fancy - just has to be maintenance free. The quote he came back with was crazy high. Siding was $33,000 using the Certainteed brand. Window replacement was $18,000 for a total estimate of $51,000 I had 2 previous quotes for the siding job - both were just under $24,000. Another contractor gave me a quote for both the siding & replacement windows job for $30,000 total. I think Mario's pricing needs to be checked.

Come to house same day wrote a proposal went over it with me price was good

This was a very good experience, all the way from the quote process with Dan right through the actual installation. They were able to start the job earlier than expected when an opening in their schedule became available. The crew showed up promptly at 7:20AM and started stripping the roof shortly after that. They covered all of the bushes and deck with tarps so the falling shingles wouldn't damage anything. There was a question that came up about the existing gutter protection system interfering with proper installation of the new drip edge and shingles, I was able to work with Dan to come up with a good solution. The new shingles and flashing look very good and the cleanup of the yard was done very well. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who is considering having their roof done.

They did a good job. They did an excellent job with clean-up including the nails. Their estimate was about $1,000 less than a different estimate we received. I would recommend them to anyone.

So far what they have done has been great but the job is still in progress. They have been working on the job for over a month now. The workers are very responsive and the owner Steve has been very accommodating, polite, and professional. They are willing to answer any of our questions and explain everything to us.

Tim, one of the co-owners, was able to come within a few days to provide an estimate on the cost of replacing the roof. He was professional and took measurements and explained the process and procedures as well as recommendations. Our roof was literally COVERED in moss and required to be completely stripped. He even told us that some of the plywood with mold wasn't bad and that bleach could kill it. He could have just retained the information for himself in order to make a little more money, but his honesty was appreciated. We ended up removing the plywood anyways. Tim and his team showed up to work in the morning and within one day my entire roof was as good as new. We've had some stormy weather and there are no leaks or issues with our roof. Our roof looks perfect! I'll have to post before and after photos as well. The only negative comment I could possibly state is that the guys are busy and its sometimes hard for them to fit individuals in. But at the end of the day the job was well done with their speediness and professionalism. Thanks Mario's!

Tim did a good job to answer all my questions. The work was done professionally and completed in one day. Of course, they had many people on the roof and worked efficiatelly. After the work, the area around the house was clean - not like the experience I had with my first house I had to clean many things after roof work. I decided to wait and write a review after the winter to see how good the new roof would be. So far, I'm very pleased that I made a good choice of roofer. The old house looks beautiful after roof replacement and there has not been any roof issues.
