After weeks of research, I knew what I wanted, had measurements and wanted to move quickly. I stopped by by Blinds-to-Go in Stoughton, MA, on a Saturday, where I met Gloria Hogan who was professional and efficient. There was no upsale and I was out of the store in 30 to 45 minutes. I purchased the blinds for my windows and french doors on the Same day. All she asked me to do is to go home to verify that my measurements were correct and to call back to confirm. The shades were available for pick up 2 days later, and were installed in one week, by one of the Blinds-to-Go installers. Having a coupon helped me get a better deal than what Home Depot was offering without having to wait 1-2 weeks for the order to come in. This is how I like to operate and will definitely used them again, when needed. Thank you!

I went into the store and ordered the blinds in February. The salesperson said the installer was a contractor and I had to have him come out to measure my windows and I would have to pay him separately for the installation. Within about 2 weeks of ordering the blinds, the installer called to schedule the installation. The store told me the installer would take the old blinds, but when I spoke to the installer, he fought me on it. I told him I could not dispose of the blinds and he said the store shouldn't have said he would take them. After some back & forth, he scheduled a time when he could take my old blinds back to the store for disposal. He came in the evening and was quick. There were two windows where the chains were too long and he said "they" (Blinds To Go) do that all the time. He said he would get connectors and come back and fix those two windows. After several calls and emails, I gave up on getting the chains fixed. The installer said he couldn't find the right connectors and the store's solution was to take the blinds down and reinstall new blinds. I did not want to go through the hassle of having the blinds removed and reinstalled again. Seven months later, that still is not resolved. When I initially ordered the blinds, the salesperson showed me a metal brace that I could pick up any time for free should any of the tabs break where the slats fit into the track. I asked if I could take one and he said yes. I've had 3 tabs break in a matter of 6-7 months. I went back to the store a few weeks ago to get more of the metal braces and was told they were $6 for a bag of 6. I argued with the girl only to be told by the original salesperson I dealt with that those were not free anymore and not under warranty and that I must be doing something wrong because they shouldn't be breaking. Needless to say, I was furious but paid the $6 because I had slats missing in my windows. I would not recommend Blinds to Go to anyone!

Response from BLINDS TO GO
According to the complaint - we did offer to repair the product - but do not do no site repairs (cords). So it is not even possible for us to do so. We are still willing to take tracks and repair cords. The "braces" are no longer and item which are given for free. Every order now comes with some included instead - as she mentioned we do have extra available if necessary. The slats breaking is due to normal wear and tear and is not covered under the warranty.
