Overall they did an average job. They were priced comparatively low to other lawn and garden services, so they offer a good value. But the work they did was only adequate. They did a pretty good job pulling the dead shrubs and planting the new ones. In the process of removing the bad shrubs, they ruined one of the good ones that we wanted to keep by mistake. Alan made good on replacing it at no extra cost to me. They did a nice job cleaning up the yard, but they did only a fair job of edging and laying down mulch. They didn't edge deep enough. My biggest complaint is that when they pulled the shrubs they did some damage to the lawn. The lawn also had some bad patches, unrelated to anything they did. Alan promised to come back and fix the lawn, both the part they partially dug up while removing the shrubs, and the rest, but they never came back. I called and spoke to Alan several times over the course of the summer, and he continued to promise that they would come back and do the lawn, but they never did come back. I think Alan is a really nice guy, and I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it would have been nice to have my lawn done as he promised. I think all in all I did get my money's worth, but I would have been happier if they had completed all the work they committed to doing.

The project went really well. Allan was very helpful in planning the project. He came to the house several times during the planning stages and also met me at a garden center once to assist with picking out plants that would work well in the spaces we were planting. We changed our minds several times about certain things and Allan was very patient and accommodating. His crew was very professional and polite and did an excellent job. The work came in right on estimate. Everything looked really great and we were extremely pleased with the end result.
