Description of Work: Had an appointment set up one month in advance for 10am. No show. I understand Bob was backed up because of the weather but there is a thing called a phone. I called him because I took time off from work and was surprised at his attitude. If you are going to be late or a no show use your cell.

Description of Work: He uncovered the control box, which was a challenge itself, being under dirt and stones, he fiddled and did his magic to make the thing work again- I think some valve needed to be replaced. He checked the other control box as well, and he left not a stone out of place. He was friendly and to the point, explaining the problem thoroughly.

Description of Work: Our existing sprinklers in our yard were leaking. I called very late in the day, and I was shocked to get a call back that night! They scheduled to come by a couple of days later, were right on time and fixed everything quickly. Highly recommended!

 + -1 moreVery well. They promptly gave me an estimate that we agreed upon and they went to work. They added PVC piping where the lines would go under a new walkway. They gave good advice on the system and were very honest. They only dug up just enough grass to get the job done and replace it carefully when finished. They cleaned up nicely after they were done!
Description of Work: Repaired a damaged irrigation line that had been punctured while we dug a front walkway and repaired a damaged control electrical cable that we hit too. Added 2 junction boxes at splices for electrical cable.

 + -1 morePicked Sprinkler Doctor from Angieslist. Told Bob I was having a driveway wall moved towards the grass area to widen a driveway. The wall was in the process of being rebuilt and the existing sprinkler heads were all pulled out of the soil. I asked him to look a the job and give me an estimate for reinstalling them and checking out the rest of the system in the yard. He looked at the job the next day and called with an estimate right away. I said fine and that I wanted him to do it as soon as the wall was completed. Wall was finished, called Bob and he scheduled it in within a few days and completed the job. Every thing was PERFECT. Thanks BOB. Very professional and what a pleasure working wiht him.
Description of Work: Bob reinstalled approx 6 to 8 pre-existing sprinkler heads after a stone wall was moved a couple of feet into the lawn to widen a driveway.

 + -1 moreMy sprinkling system was installed by a landscape company two years ago. This past summer, the sprinkler heads would not fully activate. When the landscape owner finally showed up, he wanted to charge me about $500 minimum to put in a new sprinkling zone to reduce water flow. Basically, the landscaper wanted to charge me to fix a problem he created! The Sprinkler Doctor arrived and said the problem was easily resolved: new, smaller spouts on the sprinkler heads to reduce the volume of water and increase reach. He did the work in about 1.5 hours. Then he replaced a broken plastic valve with a metal one. He was quick and the bill was less money than the landscaper would have charged. I later had the Sprinkler Doctor come and prep my system for winter. He was finished in very quick time!
Description of Work: Replaced sprinkler head spouts with smaller spouts. The sprinklers were not fully activating owing to overly large spouts. There was not enough water volume to accommodate all the sprinklers. Replacing spouts also allowed better arch and reach. Also, plastic sprinkler valve cracked. Replaced with metal valve.
