Can't say enough about the responsiveness and professionalism of Joe Hook and his employees. I hired Joe to help out my elderly parents who had their bedroom ceiling in a precarious state. They took the job and finished in the same day. Fantastic job. Fantastic service. And, very fair pricing. I sincerely thank them.

I would recommend them to others. They did a great job. They are one of the few contractors that I had good luck with. They got everything done quicker than I had expected. They finished early. They were also thorough. I do not have any complaints with them whatsoever.

I am very pleased with my experience with Liberty Plastering. Of the several contractors who came to look at the job, Joe was the only one to give me a plausible diagnosis for why my ceilings were cracking in a particular way, and he offered a solution that seems likely to prevent a reoccurrence of the problem. He explained everything he intended to do in detail and took the time to answer all my questions. He and his team showed up on schedule and covered my floors carefully to prevent damage. He and his team were professional and did high quality work. Joe also came back afterwards to repair a few small additional cracks that we had both missed. He showed up on the very day that I called and made sure that I was satisfied with the job. I highly recommend him.

Joe was prompt after our call to evaluate and quote the project. We were very pleased he met all his promise dates with both the quote, and scheduling the job. The team arrived early, left at 3 pm and everything was cleaned up nicely.The walls and ceilings looked great.

During a huge Nor'easter, the wind damaged my roof dormer, which allowed water to pour through my living room ceiling. Got the roof repaired, and knew I would have to get the ceiling done, but I dreaded the mess and the headaches. I had a couple of estimates, but didn't feel positive about either of them. One Saturday in mid-August, I heard a whooshing noise, and a large section of plaster fell out of my ceiling onto the furniture and floor. Well, time to get busy on repairs! I found Liberty Plastering on Angie's List, and was very impressed with their ratings. I left a message for owner Joe Hook, who called me back within ten minutes. He came promptly to give me an estimate, and I found his price to be very reasonable. Joe would have started two or three days later, but I was away at that time. He called right after Labor Day, as we discussed, and made an appointment to do the repairs. I needed a little time to empty the room and take down light fixtures. On the designated day, Joe arrived five minutes early, and began laying down protective floor paper immediately. I left for work. When I returned that afternoon, the ceiling was smooth and glass-like! No tape seams were visible, and the surface was pristine. I had to wash off small amounts of tape compound from the tops of the walls, which Joe and I had discussed, as I have dark grey walls, and the compound was visible in places. This took me about 15 minutes. The room itself was spotless, probably cleaner than when Joe started the work! I was completely impressed with Joe Hook's professionalism, and I would highly recommend Liberty Plastering for any ceiling work that you might need. You will be very pleased!

At first we played phone tag but he always got back in touch with me in a timely manner. When we connected, he came and gave me an estimate promptly. Scheduling a work date was tricky due to my schedule. From time of estimate to job completion was about 1 week!

John showed up on time and went right to work. He hung plastic all around the work area to keep plaster dust from the old ceiling from spreading throughout the house. Even thought they encountered an unanticipated obstacle, they took care of it and didn't charge extra. When the work was finished, they did a tremendous job of cleaning up. The ceiling looks great. I was so pleased with his work and his price that i invited him back to work on another water damaged area.

They were on time, on budget, produced wonderful results and clean up was great. We are already talking with Joe to come back for some smaller projects and will hire him again when we are ready to smooth out the first floor ceilings.

Joe called back within 20 mins of my initial call, and came out for an estimate the next day. He quoted me a price based on what he saw. I called back nearly 4 weeks later and he remembered everything about the job (including his quoted prices). He arrived EXACTLY when he said, performed the work fast, was VERY neat, and the final job looks EXCELLENT. Extremely courteous and professional. Price was very reasonable considering all the work he performed. I highly recommend Joe and Liberty Plastering.

Great job. When I contacted them they returned my call promptly, came for estimate and were able to do the job quickly. Very nice to deal with, great price. They did a beautiful job and terrific clean up The painter commented on what a good job they did. Highly recommend this company. Also used their Angie's list coupon!

In addition to quickly responding to my call and giving a fair estimate, the work was done exactly as explained and promised. They arrived on time and were clean, courteous, and efficient. In fact, they completed the job earlier than expected. They cleaned up so thoroughly that you wouldn't have known they had been there. My bedroom walls are now totally smooth for the first time! I will definitely hire them again for future projects.

They did an excellent job. They were very professional. They came on time. They were on budget. I would highly recommend them. They showed up when they said they would show up. They did the job in a faster time than they originally predicted. They did a very good professional job. They were not the cheapest but they were reasonably priced. I absolutely would use them again in the future if I needed to.

Joe and his team worked at the house when I was at my job, however when I got home and saw the results, I was very happy. He had covered our hardwood floors very thoroughly, and left the covering down upon request for us to use during painting. He cleaned very well after himself. His team took down our light fixtures carefully, and did a nice job with the plastering.

Joe was quick to perform an estimate and very flexible with scheduling the job; however, we never did receive a written estimate as promised (only a verbal estimate). He was very accommodating when we needed to push back a day to allow for the electricians to do some work on the house. Every day of work (they were on site for 4 days total), he and/or his crew arrived on time and prepared. They made sure to protect our hardwood floors (much appreciated) and transformed our walls and ceilings. They were flexible with patching some holes left by the electricians and some additional cracks in the living room and hallways we asked to have patched. These were not part of the original estimate but we didn't get charged for them. After the job was finished, they cleaned up everything nicely. Overall, I found Joe and his crew to be friendly, respectful of the premises, efficient. They did great work.
