Francesco Greco tile

Francesco added a new backsplash to our kitchen last year. He has great attention to detail and was very professional. We are hiring again this year to do tile work in our bathrooms. Def recommend.

Francesco worked me into his schedule quickly, arrived as promised, and attentively went to work on the repairs that were a little tricky due to the age of the floor. The final work was perfect, completed same day and I'd highly recommend regardless of the size of your project.

When Francesco came to our home to hear about the job, we were immediately impressed with his obvious knowledge and care about tile work. We had been talking to some others about the job as well, and he was the first to point out that one of our repair tasks would have been a waste of time because the tile was not put down well in the first place. What he said made a lot of sense. His quote was not at all the least expensive, but it was in the ballpark and we could tell he was a true professional. His skill proved to be true when he did the job. We were impressed that when he ripped out the old bathroom floor and the base, he even cleaned up the subfloor before putting down new cement board. His design for laying the tiles was great, and as he worked, he was meticulous, clean, careful and polite. Our grout work looks so much better on the shower stall repair. Francesco is a one-man-show and has been doing tile work for decades. We would hire him again in an instant and recommend his work.

It went very well. Francesco responded quickly to my initial phone message. He came out to my house within a few days, then provided a quote the following day. He started the job the following week and completed the job in just a couple days and did a quality job.

Excellent! Francesco picked up the phone himself when I called, he communicated and apologized when he needed to reschedule because his previous job was taking longer than expected. He set a date and time and kept it. His price was fair and in range of the other estimates. He is very clean and detail-oriented. Mr. Greco was the only one who pointed out the need to sand down sharp broken pieces of tile so that noboby in the house would get hurt from it!

I had called seven different ceramic tilers on Angie's List and only heard back from three. One mentioned that the job was too small, another came out and suggested we keep the tub dry for two weeks (we only have one bathroom so this wasn't realistic), and Francesco was the third. The other two also returned calls after I had left a message, but Francesco answered his phone and responded to text messages immediately. Although this job was actually too small for Francesco, he agreed to squeeze it into his busy schedule. He arrived when he said he would, worked quickly and efficiently, and did a few extras at no charge. He cleaned up afterward and the tub looks great. The caulk has held up for over three weeks and looks like it will last for years. I would hire Francesco again without hesitation.

The project went extremely well. Francesco is a perfectionist; a true craftsman. His workmanship was flawless. At one point he rejected tile that I had received because it was not flat, and he would not work with it because he felt that I would not be happy with the result. He was unfamiliar with the grout that I selected, and took the time to carefully read the directions and learn how to properly work with it before putting it down, which I appreciated. After the job was done I decided that I did not like some of the marble that I selected (my fault) and I had him come back and remove four pieces of marble and install four new pieces. He did not complain, and assessed the project carefully, and did the replacement perfectly. You would never know that it was reworked. Francesco always showed up on time, and completed his work in a timely fashion. He is personable and easy to work with. I highly recommend him to anyone who is doing a kitchen/bath renovation, and I would certainly call him again if I needed more tile work done.

Everything went wonderfully! Mr Greco provided us with a responsible estimate; he showed up exactly as scheduled; he did an excellent job placing the tiles; and he was very pleasant. I recommend him highly.

He provided a bid based on a day's work. The concrete under our existing tile floor was crumbly and unusable so Francesco excavated and poured concrete to make it table. The price increased because he had to come back for a half day but it was still fair overall.

Franco was very punctual in all stages from the estimate until the finished product. Not only was he punctual, he was personable and very neat. The worked entailked several days, and each night left the work space very clean. His quality of work is excellent. I strongly recommend him.

We remolded our kitchen from scratch. Everything was gutted and remodeled. Of all contractors used for kitchen remodeling, Franco was the most reliable and easiest to work with. He showed up promptly and communicated with us at all times. There were different stages where he needed to work with this project. Workmanship on ripping up and installing new ceramic tiles was perfect. He took his time. After each day, cleaned up carefully as if project was complete. Last part of project was glass tile backsplash. Very small tiles and each tile was laid perfectly. My wife who is a perfectionist completely satisfied with completion of the work. Zero complaints. On future projects in my house, Franco is the first contractor I will contact. HIGHLY RECOMMEND with no reservations.

Francesco did excellent work and gave good pointers and tips on some of the design elements of how to install the tile and accent tile that we had already chosen -- such as how high to tile the backsplash above the built in tub and where to put the accent tiles in the shower. The new bathroom looks great!
