FAVREAU SEPTIC SERVICE

Favreau was great to work with on the Title V inspection. They were friendly, their prices were competitive, and they took the time to explain how a septic system worked. Unfortunately, my system failed and the leach field has to be replaced. I have been working with an engineer recommended by Favreau. I believed, based on my conversations with the engineer, that Favreau would be handling the septic replacement as well. I was given a 4-6 week time estimate by the engineer. The project has been delayed due to circumstances beyond anyone's control (could not do a perc test and have to perform a sieve analysis). I was very clear from the beginning that my home was already under contract to sell, so time was of the essence. I contacted Favreau last week to schedule an installation based on an ETA for the approved plans. At 5:30 pm, the night before the observed July 3 holiday for the 4th of July, I received an email from Favreau that said I'm sorry, but we don't have the time to replace your septic, here is a suggestion of an installer that may or may not come out to your area. Due to the untimely notification, almost 6 full weeks into the process, that they will not be able to work on my septic, I am now facing a July 31 contract deadline on my home and have no company to install the septic. At the very least, I should have been notified early enough in the day prior to the holiday weekend (or more preferably early enough during the entire process) so that I could have made some phone calls and not lost days worth of time and potentially the buyer of my house.

The service turned out fine. I will continue to work with them.

Pretty good basic septic service. Shows up on schedule, leaves a report and has fair rates. I have not found them interested in additional services like fixing broken handles or loosening a stuck hatch.
