Salemi Appliance

After doing some online pricing I went to three local stores. While at Salemi's the salesman mentioned that one of the refrigerators I was interested in could be ordered with french doors at the same price. Deal done! I purchased it on a Friday and it was delivered the following Wednesday.

We did business with Salemi Appliance from August - December of 2007. Since I just joined Angie's List, I immediately wanted to submit this review because even after three years, I am sill upset about my experience. We bought top-of-the-line appliances for our new kitchen remodel (spent $15,000). The appliances have been just O.K., despite their high price (Miele, Bosch, Wolf are the brands). We had a repairman out three times within the first 6 months to repair the cooktop (Wolf). The most important thing to report is that the owner is a complete JERK. I was diagnosed with cancer during this remodel and he treated me with total disrespect and had absolutely no empathy. In fact, when I called, he would end up screaming at me when I had done nothing wrong. I was just reporting that the newly delivered refrigerator was damaged (one of the delivery guys pointed this out to me). He refused to replace the refrigerator - just fixed the damaged parts. On one of our phone calls I insisted that he call my husband (which we had told him prior) and had to hang up on him. I would advise to NEVER do business with them.
