Don’t Do It! This has been the Worst experience I’ve ever had! The Spld North side Assist Manager informed me tonight after I told her I was reporting them to the Consumers Act “she didn’t care, she ready had one on her desk she was working on.” That’s A Quote! The Store Manager was standing beside her behaving in the same manner. After I had spent 24 hour, 9 different people ( including Store dept managers, Warehouse, and Corporate) hours of hold time and automated nonsense. I had walked in the store with a email from corporate that could have worked the whole thing out. They however Were So Disrespectful and Rude I told them to come get it all. I had ordered a stove, fridge, dishwasher. -Fridge had No handles, a dent, and scratches. Handles are no where to be found. Even though I bought it in Spfld it was shipped from Lebanon. Which means Spfld will not stand behind their sale at all, and you have to deal with a totally different store, warehouse, delivery. Ordered it Friday, delivery Monday Morning, Tuesday night Still no news or answers. - STOVE I was sold (and the reason I bought from them) a double oven stove for 775.00. Now I argued with the sales rep and told him it was more expensive but he assured me No it was on clearance with 20% off and I was getting a heck of a deal. When they delivered it was one door, totally wrong stove. NO one has been willing to make this right. First call- Dept Manager “ that’s a 1200 stove I don’t know what you want me to do about it” Second - Store Manager you would have to have the warehouse deal with it, they can do refunds and make it right. Third - Warehouse- it’s the stores problem we can’t order products. Fourth- 1st Corporate Customer Service “you need to calm down and be patient, this was remedied when my male husband got on… his tune changed. He made a replacement order. But it was the Same Stove they had already delivered! The wrong one Again! Fifth- Corporate Costumer support Supervisor Now she called the store. She emailed me the numbers that made it all come out even. All that had to be done was the Store decide to be helpful. (Many other calls were made to Lebanon because again fridge is a completely different store) When we walked in the Manager cut me off while talking and told me he didn’t want to hear it, he would get the Assist Manager I had talked to earlier. I informed him that didn’t matter I had a email from Corporate. He was rude and continued to tell me he wasn’t interested. Even the desk girls acknowledged he was rude. They continue to the office where they pull everyone back and have a pow wow. Then they came back, she came up to the counter sporting a RBF and massive attitude. I pulled myself together and asked if they could just be nice and try to help. She informed me they had been nice. I had said I was finished with Lowe’s so…. At that point I told them to pick up their appliances asap, I would be reporting them. She said “go ahead I already have one on my desk I’m working on. I replied you Deserve It I’m sure. Do Not Shop At Lowe’s!!! But Stay Away From N Springfield Lowe’s!!!!! Absolutely the Rudest Store, they Do not Stand by their word, Their Service is A Circus!!🤡

I shopped around for installation services for a garbage disposal with many of the current members on Angie's List. After getting a number of price quotes from those members, I called Lowe's to see if they installed their disposals and was told this service was available for a fixed cost. This fixed cost for installation was $200 cheaper than one of my price quotes from an "A" rated member. I purchased my disposal from Lowe's at a cost as low as any provider on Amazon and it was installed in two days. Everything was seamless and the quality of work was excellent with no hidden charges.
Description of Work: The provider sold me a garbage disposal and provided installation services.

I had a great experience with them. It was very nice. They had a deal on a great carpet, a stainmaster carpet. The installer was a local person and he was great. They didn't pressure me to buy from them and they gave me some great advice.

For one thing, to me it's nice that there are 20 of them around and I just like Lowe's and seems to be a nice shopping experience.

I don't write negative reviews so this is a first. The sales part was pleasant and painless. The representative explained the different types of faucets and I picked one in no time. The problem came when I had also bought installation service for $150, which is more expensive than the other plumbers. But my rationale was, if it's bought with the item the process should be easy and smooth. I was disappointed to say the least. Bought the faucet on Sat, told by the floors sales guy that the installation will happen on Thurs. So I went ahead and scheduled the day off of work. Got a courtesy call from Lowe's on Tues, saying I should be getting a call from the installer by Wed night and I should call if I don't. So I waited but no phone call. I called after 830pm on Wed and spoke to the manager who told me that the installer was gone for the day but that he'll have them call me at 7am on Thurs morning. However, Thurs morning there was no phone call, so I called Lowe's at 730am. I talked to a manager who tells me that yes my name is on the list for Thurs installation but the installer is not around but that he left a message for the installer to call me. I get a call from ROGER who calls me soon after I hang up with the first phone call. ROGER tells me he is another manager who got my message, that he spoke to the installer who has my faucet in his truck but isn't sure when he can come, or that the installation might even happen Thurs (today). He tells me to wait for a phone call from the installer. I waited til 2pm and call back to Lowe's. I spoke to another manager who listened to my situation and told me he will contact the installer and call me back. ROGER calls me back with a dismissive tone, and quot;I told you the installer will call youand quot; and I tell him that I need at least some timeframe. He tells me and quot;I don' t know who told you thursday and nobody told you to take time off of workand quot;. I explain to him that the floor sales rep told me Thurs and wrote it on the contract form I signed in the store, and he talks over me stating, and quot;Well it's not on the computer here so there's nothing I can do for you hereand quot;. I was so frustrated, and humiliated and all I did was listened to the sales representative and assumed that the installer was coming on the day we scheduled. I didn't appreciate being disrespected over the phone either. I ended up getting a refund for the service. I DID end up getting a phone call from the installer, the following day, after the scheduled date.

We've been doing a lot of home improvement stuff. We go to Lowe's all the time. We haven't had them install anything, we just go shopping there. They are close so they are convenient. I compare their stock and prices with another home improvement store, so it depends on what I like.

I spoke to the corporate office again and told them I want the installation fee to be waived. They were bumping this complaint up to the next level in hopes that there will be a satisfactory resolution.
Description of Work: We waited 2 days for them to show up for an estimate and no one called or showed. They took our word for it that we needed 9 sections of PVC solid fence to be installed.We paid the bill in full and was promised it would be in by May 30th, but that didn't happen. The closest they could give was June 11th. On that day the installer arrived and said where's the fence? They did not coordinate a delivery of the materials so he left and I had taken a day off from work. That makes 3 no shows!! I called and the earliest now was June 23rd, but if it rains then it would be another date. I am totally disgusted with the lack of coordination for services to be done as promised. I put in a complaint with the corporate office that told me there would be a resolution to the complaint within 48 hrs. This didn't happen. I told them I wanted compensation for my 3 days that I took off from work. They said that would be determined after the installation. I want to know before the installation so I can make up my mind if I will continue to do business with them. My landscaper had to be cancelled 2 times due to this fiasco. My yard is a mess and I had to cancel 2 family picnics because the yard isn't ready. I will not ever go to Lowes for any product that needs to be installed. Very unhappy!!

We made the contract in July 2009. The Lowe's representative ordered the wrong materials. The materials were sent back and new items ordered. The Lowe's representative ordered the wrong materials again. The materials were sent back. It is now late November and the materials have still not arrived. The job is only 80% complete. The Lowe's representatives, in addition to making easily avoidable mistakes, are in no way even concerned that they are providing such lousy service. They don't care. (NOTE1: Angie's List has a check box 'Was work done?' - SOME work has been done - but the job which was started in July remains incomplete. We don't expect completion until some time in December - a 5 month job for a small kitchen!!! NOTE2: We provided the installer with a key to the house from day-1 so as to accelerate the job, and they are still dragging their feet.)

It was ok, but not great. First you have to pay for the estimator to come to the house. The estimator who came seemed very knowledgeable and had a lot of flooring experience. He also seemed to be really familiar with working in old houses. So we liked him. But the crew came from a different place. The job superintendent came and got them started but then left to another job. They really made a mess. Fortunately we covered everything near with plastic. Admittedly it wasn't a routine installation. Some of the sub-floor was rotten and had to be rebuilt but the estimator was aware of that and priced it in. They seemed to get through the job but by the first day the vinyl started lifting up from the edges and wherever it had been cut. We called Lowe's. The head guy came back with some sealer glue but wanted to stack our books on it to hold it down while it dried. Seems like there should be a better way. I make sure I re-caulk it every few months but I shouldn't have to do it - old house or not.
