Kitchens by Curio

The bathroom was a constant source of aggravation. The walls retained moisture and as a result there was a mold problem. Also the tub was constantly clogged. The bathroom was stripped down to the bare studs, the plumbing was rerouted, the walls rebuilt: using cement board and everything was replaced. The work took about three weeks but the final results were worth it. The process started at their showroom where we agreed on the work to be done, selected the materials from various samples and reviewed the drawings and the contract including the payment schedule. Curio helped us through the entire process and we found his suggestions invaluable. The workmen showed up promptly each morning, worked throughout the day and then cleaned up at night before leaving. Curio came regularly to oversee the work. The work was done professionally and on time and the material was top quality. It has been almost two years since the work was done and none of the problems have returned.

It was incredible! We had a lot of input and they really listened! It was done in good time and we were very pleased with the results!

It has taken me a year to get the guts to say anything. Over all things were not horrible but I found the fact that the two main workers did not speak English to be a handicap. Work started on time and went a little over which I expected. I asked for the tile to be sealed and not all of it was.... as a result, a spill on the floor caused a permanent discoloration in the grout. One of the shower handles fell off and the wall plates on the grab bars came loose. Minor and fixable by my husband but this should not have happened in less than three months. We did not bother to call when these things occured because an earlier call from us about a problem with a kitchen sink installed by them as part of the job was answered with a sarcastic remark asking if we were asking for money. We had to hire our own plumber to fix that problem and one with the bar sink.
