Terrific. Kevin is great - the jobs took several full days & he worked fairly nonstop. Both he and his assistant are very personable and professional. I have enjoyed working with him over the years. His quotes were also far more reasonable than the other masons. He can be difficult to reach at times, perhaps bc he's in high demand!

K & F Masonry did great work, remained professional, were friendly, gave a reasonable estimate and were very careful to clean up any debris.

Never had chimney work done???

Kevin himself came to give the estimate. iin mid April..... he didn't seem to " want" to do the job , can't comment on the quality of his work.... didn't get that far........ never got an estimate.. either verbal or written. ..never heard from him again..

Nobody showed up nor did they call to say they had to reschedule.

I scheduled an appointment but no one showed up. I called to see if there was a mistake in date/time but no one responded to my call.

Excellent. Kevin has done work for me in the past and I will gladly hire him again. His estimates were very fair for these jobs and he did a few extra tasks that weren't in the quote. He is hardworking, very friendly and professional, I would highly recommend him.

Said it would take 2 days and finally took 5 days. Left work area in poor condition - killed the grass, threw pieces of old chimney in the bushing hedge, dumped left over mortar in bushes.

They were polite and respectful. Did the work as requested and agreed upon. No hassle or surprises. Very good work and service ...will use them again.

Kevin and his crew did a great job on my 2 projects - replacing the chimney crown and cutting down the size of the fireplace hearth in the living room. Both projects were done on time and within budget at the quoted price.

Tremendous job...the laborers were polite and stayed until completion which was well beyond work hours...the delay in concrete delivery had these good men work well after midnight...I receive so many complements on my stairs and they actually make it less stressful to walk up to the entrée way..

This was the ONLY mason to contact me promptly and gave an estimate the next day. Most of the masons I called never called back and the ones that did either wanted to charge me for the estimate or took a week to return a call. Their price was fair and they were able to schedule the work quickly. The job was completed by one guy in about 2 days. He did more work than expected and did a very nice job. His cleanup was OK. Everybody I dealt with was very nice and professional.

I'm very pleased with the work done. I wasn't expecting this repair to cost a thousand, but the chimney looks very good and the workers and Kevin, the owner, were all very knowledgeable and pleasant people. It was all completed in a day and left very neat.

It was fine. There were various approaches for my problem. Instead of tearing off the top of the chimney, installing chimney cap was a good solution. Everybody was happy.

I have used a masonry person. I used him probably last year but since then I have been referring him to all of my clients and they have all really liked him. It is K & F Masonry. He is from Springfield and his name is Kevin Thompson, he is the owner. He did a great job. He was the cheapest we could find and he did the best work. I am a realtor and so agents in my office have used him as well as my clients have used him and nobody has a bad word to say about him. The price would depend on what he actually does. I would give him an 'A' plus if I could. He is just really good. I will absolutely use him again in the future.

He was very accommodating with my multiple schedule changes and requests. Job was done in one day (while I was at work) and all the debris was cleared away. New chimney looks great!

First of all, i had used them for a chimney sweep and it went well no problems . I decided to make an appointment for an estimate for my basement ... Never showed and called to see what happened no explanation . But things happen I understand so I make another appointment and one for a gutter cleaning since I recieved a coupon for 125 instead of 175.00..I told the guy I had the coupon I live in a ranch styled home ... No problem right... Wrong Showed up late, did the cleaning and gave an estimate for basement. I dont expect you to be all knowing, but if you have no idea where the water is coming from how can you put a price on it then??? Also, charged full price 175 and my husband reminded him about the coupon and man got defensive. I called to inquiry about the matter no one answered the phone for days and after leaving a message or two. A company like this is not worth it and to beat someone for 50 dollars says alot about them.

Workers were great, Chris who I assumed was the point person kept me up to date with the two-day job. Our house is surrounded with bushes and they were very careful. Came back the day after the job was finished and sprayed the windows and acid washed the driveway. Very happy with the job.

Very professional, well-mannered and all around nice person. Gave estimate and stood by it even when hidden damage was uncovered. Produced a lot of debris which was thoroughly cleaned up. He was highly recommended to us in both the price and workmanship categories and he didn't disappoint. Highly recomment this company.

This was the first contractor I had come out for the work I was going to have done on the chimney. The owner came and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The quote was less than I was expecting, and I was interested in using him for the work. I told him that I was going to have the roof redone at the same time, and he mentioned that his company did that too. He took measurements and said he would e-mail me a quote for the roof. I waited a week, but I didn't hear from him. I e-mailed him. He e-mailed back and said that things had been busy and he would get the quote to me in the next two days. After several days with no response, I e-mailed again. Still no response. I think I even tried a third time. Nothing. Finally I gave up. I never heard from him again.

Came by to give estimate day after I called. Started work when promised, cleaned up when finished. Good job.
