+ -1 moreThey repaired the floor which they did an excellent job on. The refinishing job, I'm not sure what happened there. It might have been the floor itself. He had done work for us before which is why we called him. For some reason this floor just didn't come out quite like I thought it would, but I'm fussy. The price was competitive with other bids. Another reason I went with him is that I had another guy come out to look at the floor and he diagnosed it as the wrong kind of floor. He diagnosed it as a red oak and when Jim came in he said it was white oak. After he finished with it you couldn't tell there had ever been a repair there whereas if the other guy had done it with red oak like he thought it was it would have stood out like a sore thumb. I was pleased with the service, he came in and did it on time. There was no damage on the wall from the sanders or anything like that.
Description of Work: We last used J T'S Floor Refinishing the end of last month to repair and refinish a floor.

Description of Work: Jim ripped up wall-to-wall carpeting, then sanded and refurbished all of the hardwood flooring in my home. He also completed some additional carpentry work for a runner that goes up the stairs.
