Description of Work: Replaced a pipe into the pool pump from exterior to pump. The only problem was I actually never spoke to them and I just heard them. No price was discussed and when I came back into the house to get my checkbook, not even knowing the cost, they were gone. A few days later I received a bill and paid it immediately, but a strange way to do business, although, I am very satisfied. I had a air leak and they fixed it. Pump runs great.

Description of Work: I am in a new house with a pool that was in sad shape. Bartell opened the pool, did all the repairs, installed a new filter system and heater. To do so a huge, very very very long trench had to be dug to run wires for the pool heater. Bob is very pleasant to work with as well as his crews. They have been very polite and professional and always return phone calls in a timely manner.

+ -1 moreI called Bartels and several other area pool services - some of which are here on Angie's list. I got a call from Bob Bartels that day. Not only was I thrilled to get a call back....I was so happy that the receptionist passed on so many details of my situation.... and even happier that Bob set up time to come out the week we moved into our new home. He showed up on time, walked through everything that would need to be done and sent a crew out the next day. They showed up on time and consistently demonstrated professionalism and courtesy. There is a reason this company has been in business so long.... they are simply the best from a service and quality standpoint. We will be doing business with Bartels for a very long time! We could not be happier!
Description of Work: Used Bartels to open the inground pool in our new home - it hadn't been opened in over 3 years. Within a week and a half the team had the pool crystal clear.

+ -1 moreWell. The service personnel came opened the pool in June and closed it in September without any issues.
Description of Work: Have used this provider for the past two years to open and close our pool without any problems or complaints. Bartel Pools staff has always been responsive and have never hesitated to give us good advice and have never had any problems explaining/showing us how to take care of our pool, either on the phone or when they make trips to our home to service and/or repair any problems with it. These are the qualities that we look for when we have a business relationship with a vendor which makes Bartel Pools a keeper for us.

+ -1 moreWe needed a new swimming pool liner and after trying two other well known pool services in the area, we called Bartels Pools. They not only responded to our call within 24 hours, but showed up to our home within that 24 hours to take a look at our pool. A well known pool service in the area came and went and never called us again like they said they would. Bartels was up front, took our order, was honest with the time it would take and even called us to tell us where we stood with time in getting our new liner for the pool. When the new liner finally arrived, the workers repaired the area of the pool needing repair, put the liner and the new steps in within two days. They were fast and thorough. I would highly recommend this pool service for any of your pool needs. They also open and close pools each season with the same high quality work.
