 + 0 moreWe were initially impressed with KOD mostly due to working with their interior designer. KOD uses WareRite as the fabricator for the Cambria counters. All went relatively well until the counters were installed and it was discovered that the quartz had been damaged in handling. It took 3 times over 5 months for the counters to be properly installed with minimal damage to the quartz. During this time, KOD did nothing to assist us in getting WareRite to fix the countertops. KOD never called to check on how things were going throughout the entire ordeal. All communication with KOD had to be initiated by us. If not for the Cambria representative, we would still not have counters. I would not recommend KOD.
Description of Work: We went to Kitchens of Distinction (KOD) in April to have new Cambria quartz kitchen counters designed and installed.

 + -1 moreHighly do NOT recommend their services!! Extremely rude customer service once we had an issue with our granite, and they were very reluctant to fix their mistakes. When they finally came, they did not seal it as promised and actually stained our granite by using SUPER GLUE and an accelerant leaving blue bloom markings in FOUR areas of island instead of property sealing the unfinished stone. When I went to the office after calls weren't returned, he told me to get out and he would NOT be helping our "tiny little job" Worst professional experience we've ever had!! Do not be fooled and save your money!
Description of Work: Moves into new home and needed a new piece of granite for kitchen island. See in photo how blue spots have white center. It's where the excess super glue was sprayed with a drying accelerant called "blooming"

Description of Work: They installed kitchen cabinets and counter top. The main installer did a great job. Some of the doors were damaged during install by other workers. They changed some of the damaged doors. Still waiting on doors and finish work to be done.

 + 1 moreThey were good and they worked with us. They helped us design the kitchen and were very responsive to our queries before and during the job. They did a good job. We had been to several companies but they had the best fore plan and offered quality cabinets at the best price. They were a little higher on price than other companies though.
Description of Work: Kitchens Of Distinction remodeled our kitchen. They had the whole kitchen gutted and installed new cabinets and appliances.

 + 0 moreOverall, the service was terrific. If it had not been for the constant mix-up and re-ordering that had to be done, I would say, this is a great place with which to deal.
Description of Work: The staff, especially Ryan, at Kitchens of Distinction are great, responsive and courteous. The cabinets we purchased were installed by our main remodeling contractor. The cabinet distributor from which Kitchens of Distinction purchases their cabinets is not dependable as our cabinets were sent in two separate colors with the correct color having to have drawer and door fronts replaced because, although the cabinet part was correct, the fronts were in a lighter shade. Kitchens of Distinction staff were extremely responsive in the replacement of what was needed to be repaired/replaced but, unless they changed the place from which they purchase their cabinets, I would not be comfortable recommending them to anyone else. I am sure they will be following up with this "distributor" because it certainly does not help their reputation when something like this happens. If you are looking for someone to "take care" of you, this is the place to go but if you are looking for someone with a reliable distributor from whom they purchase their cabinets, this is not the place to go. I do want to re-iterate that the staff was great and ever so helpful in every and any way they could be.
