HERITAGE LAWNS

Fine as far the service itself. Our lawn looked very good. We found it difficult to get a hold of them when we needed to. You have to go through an answering service whenever you call, and sometimes they wouldn't get back to you right away. We also asked that they call us before they did an application. That seemed to be a hassle for them. We switched to New England Lawn Care Service last year and we've been very pleased so far.

Applied lawn products according to contract, on time and as expected but does not provide feedback on condition of lawn or make recommendations that may improve the lawn. I have needed special services in the past and they responded to my request in a timely fashion.

The person that we deal with at Heritage Lawn name is Walt, but I think the company is a franchise and I don't think he's the owner but the manager. It's hard to tell what part is just our yard and he's doing all he can, but overall we're very pleased. I get a slew of advertising in the mail and for our purposes Heritage is always the best situation. They don't come and just put down weed killer on your lawn in mass. They could put some preventative care down, but what they do is build up the lawn and if we want them to come in between we just call and say there are weeds in our yard. Their whole purpose is to build up the lawn so that you don't have any weeds and it's strong. We have found that their service when compared every single time to the others is always cheaper and it works for us, so for the price and the quality we're very pleased. They put down stuff for grubs and stuff like that and we've had it done for so many years that I don't really pay attention and it just gets done. They have offers where you could pay ahead of time at the end of March and then you'd get a discount which makes it cheaper. In our case we actually pay them a little extra, which they offer if we want it, to put lime down once a year so my husband doesn't have to take the time for that. They're also very nice at the way they handle their bills. They'll go out of their way if you call in between the time that they ordinarily come out and spray weeds if you have any or if you had any unique situations. They'll come out and check and tell you what the deal is. I definitely feel like they have done an overall good job and the people in our neighborhood think we have a great lawn and that speaks for itself.

We chose them because, what it would cost my husband to buy all the things that we put down on our lawn, they were barely more than that, so the prices are very reasonable. Why do it yourself when you can pay them the same amount to do it. They are wonderful.
