Ted Evangelous and his team worked very professionally and courteously during all phases of construction. Extra care was taken to inform us of poor areas that needed repair, with excellent communication throughout the work. The new roof looks great!

Ted Evangelous came out to our house to look at a leaking roof. We had another contractor 'fix' it the year before, which created even more problems with our roof. Ted gave us an idea of what was going on and gave us an estimate to replace the entire roof. We got three estimates, his was in the middle. His actual bill was a little bit higher, though he told us during the job that this would happen and why (and showed us). He helped us plan how to discuss our issues with the previous contractor, and even took pictures of the roof to show where they made mistakes. Ted and his crew were professional, courteous and quick. Best of all - the roof isn't leaking! When do you ever actually hire a contractor that shows up, does the job well, and is nice about it?? Evangelous roofing has excellent reviews on here for a reason. Excellent roofer.

Ted Evangelous came and gave us a very competitive quote for our roof. There were many rainy days and he came as soon as the skies cleared. The crews cam at 8:15 and the first day stayed into the evening and got all of the front of the house shingles down and replaced. They also did most of the garage. They cleaned up so that my animals and children would not step on nails. The next day they came back and finished the rest. The third day they came back and installed 12 roof ridge shingles. (they had run out the day before).

Owner came out for quote and was very knowledgable. He promptly sent us the quote and a shingle sample book in the mail so we could sign the agreement and choose the new shingles all at once. The guys came out and did a great job over two days. Owner was also on site. Meticulously cleaned up after they were done. Roof looks great and doesn't leak anymore!! Great, painless experience.

From Tony. I would give Evangelous a grade of an A. I brought three roofers in for a quote for a roof replacement. Evangelous was the most hands on of the three. They walked me through the process step by step and discussed all options. They showed up on time and finished when they said they would. The crew was polite and respectful of my property. It has been almost 4 months since the roof and window were replaced and there have not been any issues or water leaks. I am a contractor by trade so I have worked with both good and not so good contractors. Evangelous rates very high with me and I would recommend them to anyone.

The Halloween snowstorm this year brought the top half of a large oak tree down on my house. The result was 9 holes in the roof. The next day, Sunday, I found four roofing companies on Angie's List, all with excellent ratings, and left messages with all of them to come out and assess the damage. One of the roofing companies was Evangelous Roofing and Ted called me back promptly. Of all the roofing companies, Ted was the only one to show any concern for temporarily patching the holes to keep out the weather and squirrels. He arrived the next day to do the patch work using a number of extra shingles that he had left over from other jobs. There were many good reasons to choose Ted's company but his concern for my situation really stood out. Trying to get the insurance appraisal finalized took several weeks so I was very glad to have the temporary fixes in place. During those weeks, I called Ted a number of times to keep him updated and to get his advice about the appraisal. He always returned my calls promptly and gave me lots of good advice about the roof and the appraisal. At the end of those weeks, he negotiated with the insurance adjuster and got more money added to several line items that were unrealistically appraised. The appraisal was finalized the week before Christmas and Ted was finally able to replace my roof. Ted is very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. His crew is very hard-working and pleasant. Ted was actively involved in the replacement of my roof and he and his crew did a terrific job. My roof replacement uncovered several problems and Ted explained them to me in a clear and precise manner so that I could easily understand the issues. He gave me options and his advice so that my decisions were easy to make. And, they did a great job cleaning up all the debris. Evangelous Roofing gets my highest recommendation.

This review is not strictly about roof snow/ice removal although he did remove snow from a number of areas on my roof in order to patch the holes that were made. It's more about Ted's concern for any damage that might occur to my home due to any future snow, ice, or rain storms. And preventing any damage to your home is the main concern when you're considering snow/ice removal from your roof. Because of Ted's concern for my home, Evangelous Roofing will be my first choice for any future snow/ice removal.

I found Evangelous Roofing on Angie's List. They were in a neighboring town and had excellent ratings. When I called them I got voicemail, so I left a message. Ted Evangelous called me back a couple days later and arranged to come estimate the job. He came when he said he would and he mailed me his estimate along with promotional literature about the materials he intended to use. His price was lower than I expected and came with a 50-year warrantee. It was getting late in the year, so I was a little anxious about whether he would be able to replace my roof before we got significant snow. It wasn't easy to reach Ted quickly, but he always responded to messages within a few days, answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. The weather remained fine and he was able to do the job over two days between Christmas and New Year's. (The daylight hours are short in winter.) Ted and his crew came at the appointed time both days and got right to work. Ted was on-site most of the time supporting and supervising his crew. They did a very professional job and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. I think my yard looked better after they left than before they came, actually! And my new roof looks great. No problems in the 2-1/2 months since. I highly recommend Evangelous Roofing.

It went very well. The crew arrived early in the day and the work was pretty much done in one day. They cleaned up everything when they were done.

They were hard workers and went about their business and cleaned up everything before they left. I would recommend them. The owner was with them each day. They were a good company to do business with and I would recommend them.

I researched at least 25 local roofers in my search for the best - my criteria being quality work, great reputation and fair price. After speaking to five roofers and getting estimates from three of them, Evangelous was at the top of my list. Teddy's estimate was in the middle of the three and it seemed fair. He had a solid reputation and I was confident in the quality of his work. He was also the only roofer that I spoke to that offered a full GAF Warranty (50 years!) which required the use of virtually all GAF products. This made me feel even more confident that was buying a quality roof. He completed the job on time and on budget. He even stopped work when his crew found evidence of bats living in a section of my roof, and helped to disinfect and clean the area before continuing. Then at the end of the project he and his crew helped me dispose of some extra trash (stuff that was accumulating in my garage as it was too heavy for my regular garbage can). The crew also scoured my yard and garden bed with large magnets in search of any stray nails. (I haven't found a single nail in the four months since they completed the roof, so they must have done a good job!) I received the warranty in the mail from GAF two weeks after the work was completed. Based on my experience I would highly recommend Teddy and his crew to anyone that is looking for a new roof.

Very professional. Did not gouge me for the time spent. Repaired some areas that were not due to storm but would cause a problem in near future. Will absolutely call these people when my roof needs replacing.

The project went very well from start to finish. Ted arranged for a tree expert to remove some branches that were hanging over the roof. The next day Ted and his crew arrived at approximately 7:30 p.m. They worked all day and were very professional. Most of the job was done that evening, and Ted came by the next morning when it was light so that he could check for debris. His crew even blew our autumn leaves into the woods.

i am very happy with the job performed and with the way my roof looked after the job was complete. i am confident that if i have a problem in the future, ted will make himself available to fix it in a reasonable time. i highly recommend this provider.

We solicited several quotes before choosing Ted to tear off and replace our roof. Not only was Ted's quote reasonable but he presented it to us in person and left us with the impression that he wanted the job. He provided us with a detailed quote and collateral about the product he would be using on our home.
