 + -1 moreHe use a chain saw to butcher our hedge and then this spring when I went to clean up around the wall , the hedge was in pieces, all dried up and the dirt behind the wall had all settled and some of it must have washed away over the winter. When we asked him to give us more fill he claimed that the wall was just fine and he drove away not offering to fix the hedge or renew the dirt. I was very upset. We spent a lot of money on that wall and he could have given us some satisfaction.
Description of Work: We needed a our tie wall replaced.The owner came. Gave us an estimate. We needed to replace the wall that had rotted out. He said he would replace the existing wall but would need to cut back some bushes that were hanging over the wall. He was a professional landscaper so we figured he knew how to cut back the hedge.

 + 0 moreOverall, satisfied with work performed. Sometimes difficult to get in touch with owner regarding specific requests, but he is responsive once communication is made. Pleasant and responsible crew.
Description of Work: Spring/Fall cleanup; mulching; trimming; weed control;weekly maintenance. We first contracted with Star Landscaping in May, 20011 and still utilize their services. Our landscaping expense is reported on an annualized basis.

Description of Work: We hired Star Landscaping for the spring cleanup, including thatching, edging, trimming, weeding, and mulching, and for weekly mowing and trimming. We were provided with an estimate and received a bill for the estimated amount.

 + -1 moreVery responsive in on site inspection and providing an competitive estimate. Explained all potential replacement options and potential relative cost. Was able to secure old type ties (eignt inch on side) to match that which was removed. Crew was efficient and cleaned site when finished.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced railroad ties which were facings for brick steps.
