Very responsive! Hired them for two projects, bathroom regrout- LOOKS NEW!! Hired them to paint the trim on the house- BEAUTIFUL! Employees and owner are polite, respectful, professional and a pleasure to work with, they come in, do the job and finish. Would recommend HIGHLY!!

Paulo's was incredible. My cedar shake siding was aging and blackened and his crew came through and promptly took care of the job. Since the historic summer cottage has no insulation and very thin walls, they were respectful and careful to softwash. The results were great and the turn-around was just what I needed too - they squeezed me into their schedule and I am very grateful. Great job guys!

I had a thin pebble tile to be installed on a backsplash. The installation is more difficult because the tile setter has to be very careful not to apply too much mastic since it will come through to the front and you will not be able to get grout between the pebbles. I wanted to hire a professional due to the fact that this is more complicated than a thick tile installation. Paulo said he has done this many times in the past. Before the job, we specifically discussed how important it is to knock down excess mastic! Unfortunately, the installer used too much mastic and it oozed through to the front of the pebbles. This was exactly we wanted to avoid! The installer then left the job and allowed the mastic to dry. It was a nightmare from there, because he did a poor job of fixing the mastic problem and did not like that the project was now taking more time. There were also spots where the pebble sheets were forced into place resulting in the pebbles overlapping. I lost all confidence in his expertise and did not have him finish the project. I paid more than I ever should have to settle up and I got a professional to finished the job.

We had Paulo paint and stain the exterior of our house two years ago and he did such a great job at a good price we hired him recently for a complete bathroom remodel, a new floor in another bathroom and putting a skylight in my den. He is an expert with logistics - materials and workers arrived as needed, all on a tight schedule, all expert at what they did and all very amiable. Paulo himself loves his work, enjoys design and selection of materials, and is good at it. He stopped by every day to oversee progress and was done in about ten days. His bid was well below the other bid I received. Many people have since complimented the work. He has a foreman who checks all work and does much of it himself, Daniel Peixoto, who is both an extraordinarily hard worker and is masterful on tile and carpentry projects. I truly believe that Paulo's attitude affects his whole crew, giving them a friendly and considerate approach to their work and a real attention to detail.

They removed wallpaper and painted 4 rooms. It ended up being 4 layers of paper going back to the 1950s, it was a bear of a job. They were thorough, tidy, and friendly and good natured the whole time. I will hire them again the next time I need something.

I had significant water damage to the kitchen floor and walls. Damage extended into a stairwell as well as the garage. Dry wall and insulation were removed. After everything was dry, Paulo's company handled the entire job: Insulation and drywall instillation, painting, and floor refinishing. They did a great job on all accounts. The employees were courteous and cleaned up each day. It was an extensive job and they did it in a timely fashion. Paulo visited the job site every day. With each new phase of the job, he came to the job site early to show his crew what needed to be done. He checked in to make sure that we were happy. He was timely in the initial appointment. He delivered a competitive price and started the job when he said they would. I would certainly use Paulo's Painting and Carpentry again.

We were looking to have 6 rooms painted before we moved into our new home. It was a busy time of year and Paulo was very accommodating working around his schedule and ours to get the job done. The estimate given was "right on" and the painting job done is beautiful. I'm still walking into rooms and marveling at the colors and the degree of care that was taken. Paulo himself is lovely to work with, always with a smile on his face and eager to please. We will definitely be calling him again for future painting projects. Thank you Paulo

Paulo is very friendly with a great staff. He was responsive to my calls and answered all questions quickly. His crews did a very high-quality job. He is not inexpensive however we are very happy with the work. I would recommend him!

Paulo did an excellent job, but more importantly, he showed up when he said he would and there were no "surprises." A very nice man and a professional. We will be hiring him for several more projects, including some carpentry/repairs.

Paulo is wonderful. We had a partially started ceramic tile job and installation of a marble-top double vanity. He willingly took on the job (it's not easy to pick up with someone else's work). His work was top notch. His service was terrific. We definitely plan to hire him again! He's a kind and trustworthy man.

I rarely complete surveys like these because I receive so many, however, in this case I wanted to take the time out to comment on Paulo and his team. Paulo was quick to respond to my request for internal painting and updating my bathrooms and hardware throughout the house. He is an extremely trustworthy, detailed professional. I am never completely comfortable hiring a contractor, because of some past experiences, however, Paulo has changed my mindset. He and his team showed up when they said they would, completed the work when they promised, and delivered a beautiful finished product at a very reasonable price. All of the internal painting is just beautiful, and the new bathrooms are gorgeous. Their tile work is perfect. In addition to the superior work, Paulo is a joy to work with. I can be very detail oriented, and Paulo is as well. He responded to every one of my emails in the evenings after his work day was complete. How refreshing it is to actually communicate with your contractor and he responds! As Paulo walked through the house, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered a few suggestions that were absolutely spot on. He leaves you with a high level of confidence in both he and his team. On a final note, I had a family member pass away during the construction, and Paulo could not have been more accommodating. We had to use the house for 3 days and he cleaned up the work site to ensure that we were able to spend the time needed to prepare for and attend the funeral. He is a kind, thoughtful man. I can't say enough good things about Paulo's Painting and Carpentry. How lucky I was to find his company and would highly recommend him. Falmouth can be a difficult location to find a reasonable, high quality contractor who will treat you and your home with respect, and Paulo and his team were a refreshing change and a completely positive experience.

Paulo Painting and Carpentry repaired rake and gable boards all around my house. His work was excellent and his pricing very fair. Paulo personally is a very easily liked man who pays attention to detail and shows understanding of the customer's needs. I am planning to have him do more work. I could not be more pleased!

Paulo is the best! He not only did the painting I needed but remodeled my bathrooms and put down new flooring. He is very trustworthy. He and his crew do an amazing job and make sure everything is to 100% to your satisfaction. I am having him come back to remodel my kitchen and paint the exterior of my home. Trustworthy, you can leave your children with them. They have done numerous houses for me.
