This is the first negative review i have ever written about a service provider in my life- I am at least 8 weeks into this mess- problems too numerous to detail including the new battery failing and they put a hole into the new door so that i could access the car in case of a power outage -while i waited for an electrician to install power the battery has repeatedly failed -i was treated as if it was my fault- instead of customer service it was customer blame- they told me i should have power but no one said anything during their sales pitch when they told me it would be ok until i did get power-when i asked for a reduction in the price due to numerous issues beside the battery- the div mgr said "i am your advocate" i heard nothing for 2 weeks then 'oh we can't do anything'- nice advocate-I asked for a reconsideration but no response yet- installer quoted me a price on a part but later the office said no it was $50 higher- i believe in my opinion this company does not care about its customers and i would strongly urge consumers avoid them. I am sending them the full payment and i expect they will cash the check quietly and then write a response trying to switch the blame. I made a huge mistake dealing with this company-

Dave came out promptly, replaced the button, and tuned up the opening mechanism motor and chains. He was fast and professional, walked me through the whole system operation (including how I can lock the garage door when away which is an access issue for my home)

Called and spoke to staff repeatedly to set up appointment. Each time, they did not show up nor call me back. Used them successfully in the past, but now they seem to be on another planet.

Great--the product they installed was much better quality than the original one and was done in a timely and efficient manner. They were very polite and professional. They also took all the old parts and trash with them.

The service turned up fine. There was a little confusion because my wife didn't know about the arrangement that I had made. So there was some confusion with the payment but we got a refund. He spent some time showing my wife the lubrication to get for the door. We were very happy with the service we got.

I bought the Sommer garage door from Amazon because it is so quiet and I couldnt' find any local companies who carried it. All Cape Garage was happy to installe it for us. Came on time, did a fine install. No problems ever encountered with the install or opener. We adore the quietness of the opener and can't wait for the 2nd door opener to go bad, so that we can have All Cape Garage install a 2nd one for us!

Company was quick to respond to our request for service and we would recomment them to anyone in need of overhead garage door services.

Said they would be over in the afternoon of 07 Oct but never called. When I called them around 5 PM, they said they were running late and would be over in a half hour. Arrived but did not have parts. OK - it happens. Said they would be over around 1:30 in the afternoon the next day, 08 Oct. and would call. It is now 6 PM and no call and no service. I guess the job was just not big enough to be worth their time and they didn't feel professional enough to even give me the courtesy of calling to tell me they didn't want my money. Now I"m stuck with a door that will not open and very little flexibility to change my work schedule. Extremely unprofessional.

Matt from All Cape did a great job on my garage door - lubricating, tightening, getting my keypad squared away and even straightening out a problem area on the door that I thought couldn't be fixed. Would recommend them in a minute.

On a Thrusday, I saw their special $39 garage-door opener tuneup on Angie's List and called All Cape Garage Door, Inc. to see if my problem was covered. It was and they promised to try to get someone over to fix it within a day or two. The followed up with a phone call the next day and said they would come Monday morning. They then called to confirm on Monday morning and we arranged for them to come even though we would not be at the house. That afternoon, we found that the garage door opener was working fine. I highly recommend them.

I asked for pricing on a new door or installation on a used door I had. I made an appointment with them but they did not show up or call. When I called back, they said they must have misplaced the information, and we rescheduled. Then, they did not show up for that one as well. I was highly disappointed with them and will never use their service again.

Very professional , Contact was easy . Show up on time , Work completed and everything done to spec. Small job but great fix.

They came and gave us a quote for installing a new opener on one door and repairing the existing opener on the other door as well as repairing the door because it would not stay open, had missing rollers and had a rotted panel on the bottom. The existing garage door opener was all torn apart and in rough shape but he said he would try to repair it. The repair person came on Monday but was running late and I had to reschedule to Tuesday because I had another vendor coming to do work for me that afternoon that would have conflicted. The existing garage door opener required a new panel and electronic eyes that would have cost close to the cost of a brand new opener, so we decided to just replace the old opener with a new one. The doors run great and I love having functioning and safe garage doors.

The technician was friendly and professional! Came when he said he would and fixed my doors in no time! It was a simple fix- one of my sensors was not facing the right way and he was able to reprogram my remotes within minutes. He did not even charge me for the visit! Great service!

Job went quickly and smoothly.

When I called on Tuesday I spoke to Matt. I described the problem with the door and he immediately recognized it as a stripped gear in the electric opener. He told me that replacing the gear would fix the problem, and that it would cost $165. I asked if it was worth replacing the opener and Matt said that the gear replacement would be enough and replacing the opener would cost twice as much for the same benefit. I asked if I should buy a new one myself and have them install it. Again, Matt said that replacing the gear was all I needed and that spending the extra $ was probably not worth it. So Matt said that he would be over in the next day or two. The next day, I received a phone call from Dave. Dave said, so you wanted us to call you? Dave seemed to have a nodding acquaintance with the situation and said that he would call when he knew when he could be at my house-but he was not sure when that would be. Over the next two days, after a couple of calls, Dave arrived at my house and informed me that I should replace the entire opener and that there was no warranty on the gear, only on the opener. He told me that once he drove out of the driveway, if the gear failed, he bore no responsibility for its operation. I told him I was surprised that he and Matt could be so far apart about the same situation, and that I just wanted to replace the gear. Dave tried to convince me to replace the opener, reiterating his disavowal of any difficulty that could arise from the gear. After a brief discussion, Dave replaced the gear and the door opens and closes normally. Although the work was done for the quoted price, I have to give this operation a lower grade due to: The lack of communication between Dave and Matt, the uncertainty of the time frame, and the obvious attempt to upsell once the technician arrived.

See above ...as noted initial call for replacement of old door was handled efficiently....second call on pro blem handled in the same manner. I would certainly call All Cape Garage Door again and would not hesitate in recommending them.

I was having problems with the garage door not closing. I checked the sensors and tried to adjust them but couldn't. I noticed that the light on one of the sensors wasn't working so I decided to order a new one from the manufacturer. The sensors were sold as a pair so when I received them, I switched the bad sensor with a new one and it still didn't work. So I switched the other sensor and now neither lights were on. Since this isn't my primary residence I couldn't call a repair service right away. I got online and went to 'Angie's List' and found 'All Cape Garage Door Inc'. Well, I was going to be at my Mashpee residence for threes days (July 12th, 13th & 14th) and decided to call All Cape and make an appointment for the week of Aug 5th when I'll be up here for a week. They asked me where I was located and when I told them, they could have somebody stop buy that very day which I thought was great because I was thinking I'd would have to make an appointment and wait till my vacation. I got a call from the technician from All Cape telling me he had to go by my residence to get back to his office so he'll stop by. When they got here I explained what I had done, they saw right away that I had wired the sensors wrong and quickly rewired the sensors and lubricated the rails and the door worked. They were done in less then five minutes. I thanked them and gave them a generous tip. if I have problems with my door again I will definitly call 'All Cape Garage Door Inc' again.

Our automatic garage door was not operating correctly since it would only open about 3/4 of the way. After about a week of this I contacted All Cape Garage Door Co. after consulting with Angie's List. Based upon the reviews I contacted them on Tuesday afternoon and they were at our house Wednesday morning. I told them and showed the lack of opening and they immediately knew what the problem was and made the required adjustments as well as lubricating the rollers and hinges. The service fee was $25.00 which I think was more than fair as well as being responsive,prompt,courteous and most of all being familiar with the problem. I would use them again without hesitation !!

After a svere Nor'easter and being without electricity for two days, I realized I needed a garage door opener with a battery back-up. All Cape gave me a very reliable and competitive estimate over the phone. They arrived two days later and installed the opener very quickly.

See the info above. The repair person could have suggested more repair work but was honest and only did the readjustment.

Although I missed their phone call by 20 minutes to determine if they were going to arrive on the appointment day and it had to be rescheduled, then they were held up several hours on the second appointment day, they performed the job quickly and efficiently. They performed a good install and cleaned up after themselves.

There was a little mix up with the installation, but the installer was good and worked it out. We were pleased with the service and the communication overall.

At the end of the installation, the guy mentioned that the spring might be getting old. I thought he should have told us at time of discovery and given us the option of having a new one installed at the time. Generally, they were pretty good.
